I was assaulted by a homeless woman in the restaurant around 3:00pm in the afternoon on a Tuesday while employees did nothing. I was peacefully sitting at a table waiting for a to-go order, and an apparently homeless woman who appeared mentally ill was very loud at the counter. She noticed me and started harassing me for approximately 10-15 minutes, growing increasingly threatening. I ignored her. She threatened to beat me up and was acting violently. I looked at her to make sure she stayed away, and she said I was giving her the 'evil eye.' She screamed at me she was going to give me a black eye, and then grabbed a fork and said she would stab me. A man started defending me, so she started threatening him, too. Finally, the manager came out, but no one did anything to stop it. I asked multiple people, including employees to call the police, but they all just stood there like cows. They seemed immobilized and dazed, and they were useless. I had to RUN out to my car while she was threatening the man. I realize Las Vegas is "wild" and has a lot of "crazy" people, but I'd think it was safe to go the a Denny's at 3pm on a weekday. So, unless you want to risk being assaulted for an extended period of time, and possibly stabber (or worse), while onlookers do NOTHING, AVOID THIS PLACE!!! read more

Came in for breakfast with my son, got sat quickly but for about 20minutes no server in sight. ( I counted) then this nice gentlemen came and told me the server was busy but that he would take my order, not sure if he was a busser or BOH. Either way I ordered and everything was fine. Until the host sat a black man that was alone a few tables next to me. The manager was a Hispanic older lady she goes up to him and gives him the receipt , he looks confused because he hasn't even received his food. She proceeds to CHARGE him before he receives his food. The expression on his face said it all. He looked very upset and walked up to the front to pay. I didn't pay before hand. No one else did. What she did was profile him. I work in the service industry and this was absolutely unacceptable. Do better Dennys. I would have left but my son was hungry and we had already ordered. On top of that no one came to check up on us throughout the whole entire time. At the end the same guy that took my order came over to apologize that he was sorry he couldn't check up on me. I like Denny's but my most recent experience was outstanding! I work very close to this Denny's and always thought they took too long for food but I went on 09/15/2022 and my server was amazing! Our server ANA was so attentive, I told her I was there for lunch and she was able to work at a great pace for me to get back on time. She recommended a few plates and was able to bring my drink so quickly. Ana would constantly come check on me and ask how the food was doing and was so attentive with all the other customers as well. She always had a smile when she came and I highly recommend you guys ask for Ana as your server next time you go! she will make sure you have a great experience. The food was a 9/10. What they consider a Philly cheesesteak, I would consider a steak chopped in pieces slapped on a bun with cheese. Yes, I ordered mine plain with no onions, shrooms, or peppers, but this doesn't look like a cheese. It seems like white queso dip with steak tips. Customer service was horrible. It doesn't appear the rules of COVID are taken either besides mask. I couldn't even break the meat apart. So good luck getting me to eat with braces. We were seated at a dirty, sticky table, drinking glasses were coated with a thick cloudy film, the skillet our food was served on was crusted with filth & grime. The food was just bad, eggs were served to us cold, bread was stale, bacon was so thinly sliced it was transparent. Waitress was nonexistent but who could blame her, she had to be embarrassed to serve customers such filth. To add to our one of a kind dining experience our truck was broken into, broad daylight 11:00 am right there in the Denny's parking lot. Worst service and experience I've ever had for breakfast here in Vegas! Ordered coffee and had no regular sugar at our table. Our waitress never came back after 15 minutes of ordering. Not once not even to check on us! I raised my hand and tried to wave down 5 different servers as they passed our table and looked a manager( Iglesias his name tag said) dead in eyes and asked for help and he turned his head to look away like that's not my business. Each server acted like that's not my table so I don't care. I figured even tho they didn't come over to our table at least they would tell our server to come back...wrong! I waited another 5 minutes until I realized they really are ignoring me and no one is coming. With my coffee now cold I went to the register to ask for sugar that should have already been on the table. Then the food came and the steak was gray! I sent it back twice and both times it came back gray inside & out! I asked for medium rare and no part of the meat was pink. SMH The butter for my French toast was yellow and salty like I CANT BELIEVE IT'S NOT BUTTER! Well believe me that was no real butter. You are all going to say "she's crazy", but this was by far the best meal I've ever had at a Denny's, you know cuz it's Denny's. Lol I would say that, that's thanks to the chef who was on. They have a couple sirloin steaks added to the menu, so both my sister and I ordered one, mine med well, hers med rare, they come came out lean and cooked to perfection, and very flavorful, no stake sauce needed. I also had the garlic mash potatoes and new cream corn, which were also very tasty. The service was also good. It was probably a fluke, but I will be going back to this Denny's. read more

I am a big fan of BREAKFAST! I'm an even bigger fan if you can cook 2 eggs OVER MEDIUM - Denny's met that challenge. Cashed in my FREE Birthday Grand Slam (it pays to join rewards clubs) and chose 2 pancakes, 2 eggs (over medium) 2 strips of bacon and hash browns. All were good, I rarely eat bacon, so I am not the best judge. The pancakes and eggs were excellent, as was the coffee. This is probably my second time at a Denny's ever. A friend and I came here for food after having a late night adventure around town. People always tell me that Denny's is just cheap diner food, but nothing was really open in the area that sparked our interest so we decided that Denny's will do. I know I shouldn't expect much because it's not fine dining, but here it goes... When we first arrived, we weren't even greeted and two employees glanced right at us and continued their conversation. I don't like interrupting people (and I know they acknowledged our presence because they glanced at us) so we just waited until they stopped. We were seated shortly after their conversation ended and were greeted by what seemed to be the only person working the front end. This guy was friendly, but service was slow for a night that wasn't busy (there were a total of two tables dining in, including our table). I ordered the fish & chips. The fish & chips are white fish fillets fried to a crispy golden brown served with fries and a side order of your choice (I went with their steamed broccoli). It was good for something from a chain diner, but it wasn't anything that I would rave about. Service was basically non-existent because our waiter didn't show up through our whole meal except when we were almost done. He made a snarky comment after he noticed we grabbed a ketchup bottle from the empty table next to us, since the one on our table ran out and we were almost done with our meal. Like I said, the service wasn't there and it wasn't until we were getting ready to leave and pay for our food that the waiter starts having these long conversations about his past, and at the end of the night we just wanted to go home (we wouldn't have minded if he talked to us during our meal, but we literally were done and paid for and it was kinda awkward for us to end the conversation). Here's the bottom line: come here at 1 in the morning if you want to hear oldies music while Law & Order SVU is playing on their TVs on mute, and at the same time you can hear the employees having inappropriate conversations in the kitchen. What can I say, there's times when I just crave Denny's! I love that they have a free meal on my Birthday too. I ordered bacon/eggs with a side of pancakes and a cup of coffee. My daughter and I frequent this location for dinner, mostly, and our expriences have been pleasant. Tonight changed that completely, and the worst part is that the manager on duty was oblivious to the whole thing. He was mostly concerned about his 4 days off and his trip down to TJ and Cabo. Our server, Joy B, was not very competant and that is me being nice. She corrected my daughter and I, who are Hispanic, in her passive aggresive way on spanish words.
