As my friend and I got seated at our booth, our waiter Jeremiah L. quickly came to attend us and gave us such a GREAT SERVICE the entire time. From the time that we got there to the time that we left, I continuously saw Jeremiah running back and forth helping out everyone at their tables and even behind the cash register. While my friend and I were eating, we witnessed the most disgusting behavior by the manager named Shanet who has short and blonde hair. With such a mean face expression and loud aggressive voice, the manager yelled at Jeremiah and said something along the line of "why are you running if you keep doing that I'm going to take you off the schedule every day." Shanet said this so loud in front of other customers who also heard this. It was very upsetting to see this type behavior especially coming from a manager. This is no way of treating employees especially when I saw that he is doing so much. My friend and I made sure that he knew he was doing a good job and that we were so sorry that he had to go through that. This place is known for the manager to behave like this. I get to Dennys to pickup my food and they tell me they do not have what I ordered. So I asked for a refund. They stated they do not give refunds from food apps. I said no I ordered from Dennys not a food app but right from your company. They said nope we are Dennys but we are not the company and we will NOT refund your money. They said you can pick other food that we have. I asked what do you have. They said fries and that's it. So they wanted to give me nearly $50 in fries . So this goes without saying don't go to Dennys. And if you do don't go to the location on college Blvd in Oceanside CA. Been visiting since the 90s and not stopping. Today's visit was on a Sunday at lunch. What a mad house but not too mad for our server Martin to not provide quality costumer service and food. I ordered the extra large chicken steak breakfast, I have nothing but satisfaction to post. Enjoyed my lunch with the family and no one had issues or complaints. I was happy to see the corporate decision was made to remove the table tablets, really annoying to use and more of a pain if you have children. I enjoy the face to face interaction with the staff. Definitely a five star business at this location and typically I do not have a good experience at any Dennys in general. First impression they keep the outside tidy so that's a plus.. inside is very well kept up and clean, that's a plus! We were greeted by the host at the front (young lady, dark hair) she was very Professional and seated us quickly. Our waitress Marina was the best! She is attentive, professional and friendly. As we ate our food (which was delicious) we noticed the busser cleaned up the table that were clearing out very quickly and thoroughly. Definitely recommend the loaded baked potato soup, so flavorful and the burgers are made so well, THANK YOU CHEF! When I get burgers they are normally dry and tasteless.
