I came in for the Tour of America promotion that I found in my email box as I'm part of Denny's Rewards program. I was quite disappointed. First of all, the waitress said we could order anything from the regular menu but then get an item free from the Tours of America menu with our coupon. After we had already decided what to order, she came back around and told us that we couldn't order from the regular menu and that everything had to be from the Tour of America menu. This is really bad customer service. I asked her was there anyways that she could honor what she had said since we had already decided what we were going to order. She said "no" as she had asked the manager and she had said "no". This is poor customer service I feel. Secondly, The Hawaiian Tropical Pancake Breakfast was quite "non standard" in the sense that I ordered two of the same thing and one of my plates was noticeably smaller. Also, pineapples on top weren't even "even". I had 2 on one and 3 on the other. The cream was uneven as well. My friends ordered the same thing and mine had more cream than theirs. When I asked for more, it took her about 15-20 minutes (by that time I thought she pretty much had forgotten or wanted me to forget) to serve it. How long does it take to take out "ready made" items? Very unacceptable! There was no standardization in size of the pancakes nor toppings. Also, service is slow when there the restaurant was obviously more than half empty!:( The above menu item was also not really great - way too sweet...and needed way more pineapples - very measly amount. Thirdly, asked for a separate bill and they gave us one slip of paper and asked us to pay it separately. I haven't ever seen this before at other restaurants I've eaten at. When I ask for separate checks/ bills, I expect separate pieces of papers with separate pens and receipt holders. This seems "low class". Will probably not visit Dennys again!:( read more

Worst breakfast I've had in a while. Hash browns were half cooked. I asked for over medium eggs got half cooked eggs. Country fried steak was ok but the size of a hamburger. The gravy had no flavor. It took 45 minutes or more to get our food. Next time will be going somewhere else. read more

This place gets a solid average 3. The wait for food and service... didn't exist, as other yelpers mentioned. We arrived at approx 11 on a Wednesday and it was an average lunch hour. There was no wait, and half the tables occupied. Our waiter was superb. She was so friendly and very prompt with everything, I would like to say her name was Maria but I am not 100% on that. The food: average Denny's food. Great prices! If you can order of the 2468 menu, do it! Usually it's the same amount of food for a bit less. I didn't come back until there were new waiters, and a manager walking around to double check everything. Good call, Denny's. This place went from "Oh lord, I hope those waiters aren't working tonight." to "Let's go to Denny's! Meagan(sp) is a great waiter. She'll definitely take care of us well." There is one more waiter who I can't seem to remember by name, but she does an awesome job as well. Denny's have found keepers. Within the past 2 months the hired a new cook, and boy.. the food comes out quick as it should. I come hear more frequently now. It's possible to be in and out of here within 30 minutes on a good night. Only thing that bothers me is how cold the AC always is, feels like it's around 63. I come in with a jacket no matter what, but it'd be nice to have it around 73 degrees to just be comfy. Now a great restaurant that I look forward to eating at. Great service. Food comes out freshly made. A restaurant that can pull a full 180 and make huge improvements such as this, deserves a 5-star review. I think I've been eating here enough to rate it at such. [Caution: Language] As a general rule, because I am a chef myself, I will take into consideration where I'm eating. Denny's hasn't been a norm for since my early high school years, for obvious reasons. That being said, I came in out of necessity and not necessarily as a desire. A quick brunch will do me well before another long shift. Surprisingly, the kitchen here has stepped up their game since I last rolled through here two years ago, and have no complaints to mention in their craft. However, I was distraught to see that the servers were literally RUNNING. Having been a server myself at one point in my life, I know that when I'm running on the floor, for lack of better terms, "shit has hit the fan." Hire more servers, and I'm sure you'll have more regulars. read more

This Denny's was the most worst Denny's I've been to ever in my life the service was horrible. First off, me, my mom, and my nephew had to wait an hour for our food. None of the employees were even wearing name tags. Went to have breakfast there this morning 07/02/18 and the service was really bad. There was no one else waiting to be served and we were ignored. There was a man who came in after us that ordered online to pick up his order that wasn't ready. He was not happy with the service either. He came to pick up his order 10 minutes after the time he was told to come in. They were not busy so I had a hard time understanding why we weren't greeted immediately. When I asked if we could seat ourselves, an older lady working there asked if we could wait a minute. Her response had a tone and at the point I didn't see a reason to eat there. We went to islands instead and I can tell you the customer service and atmosphere was much better. Not going back to Denny's again. read more

This is the WORST Denny's that I have ever been to they have THE SLOWEST service that I've ever experienced!!!! We came here on a Sunday morning around 9:30 to grab some breakfast before church, waiting about 20 min to be seated.... To be expected on a Sunday. Once we were finally seated it took 20 min to even get our drink order taken I had to get the hostesses attention to even get that done, eventually our waitress Ana took our order she's a super sweet older lady, but it still took another 20 min for our food to come....needless to say we missed church the food was normal Denny's fare, but again service sucked they need to get it together! read more

Went here for breakfast because the other location had a long wait. When my husband was in line, another customer came in and step aside. When the employee came was to check us in, he looked at the other customer to get his name. My husband was standing right in front of the counter. But my husband stated he was here first. OMG, never order a milkshake at Denny's to go. You get only half the amount you get when you dine-in and it is the same price. When you dine-in you get your shake in a tall glass plus what is left in the silver canister they make the shake in. When you get it to go, it's in a small to go then topped with whip cream. I feel sorry for the customer who was dining in and ordered a the same kind of shake. He got my other milkshake in a to go cup with no extra in a canister . I called another Denny's and they said that is the way it's done. My sister suggested to order it at the table and then ask that you want it to go. Good suggestion.
