So, I never really expect much from Denny's I feel like chain restaurants are either a hit or miss and most of the time they are a miss. But my boyfriend and I chose to come here the day that we arrived from our flight. We stayed at the Embassy Suites right across from the restaurant which is a walk away and decided to come here after a long flight on a late night. When we arrived, we were immediately seated and welcomed. It was really dead inside though, not like back home where it's always packed late at night. So service was quick and there was only one family and a couple in there before us. I had ordered the Chicken Tender plate and requested the jack cheese sauce on top. Sadly they were out of it, but I wasn't disappointed. The waitress had suggested regular shredded cheddar cheese on top which I was completely satisfied with. The tenders were nice and crispy, fluffy and fresh on the inside. The fries were crispy and fluffy as well! Normally denny's fries back at home are either soggy/ hard or not cooked all the way through. My boyfriend had gotten the Slamburger and it was perfect. I think we were just so hungry, but everything was great. Also, when I had taken these to go, i didn't finish the rest of my chicken tenders until a day or so later, and even coming out of the microwave wasn't so bad, which means it was very fresh that day. Our server was very kind, sadly I did not catch her name but she accommodated to us with no problem. She was of African American decent and had served us on Wednesday Night February 5th from around 11pm - 1am. Nice place to get a solid breakfast and a decent price. Service - We had the complete opposite experience of many of the reviewers. Upon entering we were immediately acknowledged, greeted and seated. All the staff seemed extremely friendly. Our waitress was new but she was energetic and got our order spot on. Food - The food is what one should expect at a breakfast chain restaurant. Nothing fantastic but decent for the price. It is no fault of this specific location but a problem for Denny's as a franchise. Little improvements like real maple syrup (instead of fake corn syrup based knock-off) or real cheese options (instead of just processed American cheese) would go a long way. I dined there last Saturday (Feb 1) leading into Sunday around 1-2am. I had an amazing experience with my server Yatasha. She was so sweet and accommodating and gave amazing service. My eggs weren't cooked how I like them when they came out and she was quick to apologize, though it wasn't her fault, and got them fixed in a timely manner. I'm a restaurant manager in the area and have to say, if I had room on my team at the moment, I would've tried to recruit her because her service was THAT good. No problems with food, and server was fine with us. We were the only diners in the restaurant, and it was the middle of the night. The server was attentive and polite but not overbearing. But while we were eating, another customer walked in. The server (who I could name but won't) stereotyped the man and told him he could not dine in the establishment because "we've had too many problems with homeless." However, in this case I want to highlight what a pleasant experience we had at this location. On a Friday morning we were seated promptly and had a very helpful server. In fact, all the servers were hustling and very friendly. Not something I am accustomed to seeing these days. Our food came out promptly and was made to order exactly. It was nice and quiet during our meal. Maybe a handful of customers at the most. The server was very attentive and our meal came out piping hot and delicious. Unlike other Denny's, this one was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The only negative (which won't impact my overall view of the restaurant) is who looked to be a manager was noisily cleaning the floor with a buffer near to our table. On Superbowl Sunday, a family brunch on a family vacation is a very important event. Although a devout Broncos fan, even I was flabbergasted by the amount of love and appreciation shoved in our faces at this Denny's. And this was only the beginning. Walking in, we noticed that there were many empty booths, yet the hostess still made us wait for over fifteen minutes until we were finally seated at a table. After ordering drinks, our server seemed to have disappeared for nearly half an hour. He kept rambling on about his love for the Bronco's and I politely smiled and kept attempting to order. For another half an hour, my kids and I waited. And waited. And waited. The food was taking forever, for a Denny's that wasn't even that busy. When the meal had finally arrived, it wasn't even warm! Additionally, they forgot my daughter's meal completely and one of my son's sides. Our server seemed to have disappeared yet again so we had to wait to retrieve the missing items. The food was what you would expect. It was okay. The grits were a bit too slushy for my taste and the pancakes weren't fluffy enough. The bacon was burnt to nearly a crisp and the hash browns were fried together. It was not an enjoyable meal. I would expect this from a fast food place, but a diner? As we were leaving, I realized I had left my car keys in the restaurant. My daughter went inside to retrieve and the server had it, giving it to her. We love Andre, our server. He has been working hard and maintained a perfect attitude while coworkers such as Lindy and Rena were extremely negative and arguing instead of helping him run food and assist tables, especially in front of the guests which should not happen. Andre deserves better. The manager did help greet tables and get drinks while Lindy and Rena continued to linger and do nothing to help. Would not recommend having them, request Andre next time you visit! read more

When you think Denny's you don't always think wonderful customer service or excellent food. It is usually quick, easy and convenient -- especially while traveling. I was just in Orlando for business and stayed at the Rosen Centre which is next to Denny's. They food was nothing amazing but my server, Summer, was excellent. She was extremely attentive to all of her tables and took care of everybody while being quick and friendly. It is hard to find servers like this especially at a place like Denny's who would generally have a low (PPA - per person average) which means she has to work her A$$ of to make a decent pay. I've been to many Denny's locations throughout the years and this was the best one. When we arrived for brinner it was fairly slow. Sometimes that would give us cause for concern but we were greeted by a super happy friendly server named DJ. Not only was he fun and personable but the food was great.
