It's been so long since I'd eaten at a Denny's that I honestly couldn't remember my last visit. While working with an installation team in Orlando, it happened to be the closest place for breakfast, so we gave it a try. Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to my expectations. Breakfast took longer than expected, especially considering the restaurant wasn't overly busy. I ordered my eggs over easy, but they arrived closer to over medium. The ham steak was tougher than I would have liked and wasn't very enjoyable. The bright spots were the crispy hash browns and the toasted English muffin--they ended up being the best parts of the meal. Service was adequate, but nothing stood out enough to make me want to return. It wasn't a terrible breakfast, just an average one that lacked the attention to detail and quality that would make me choose Denny's again the next time I'm in town. read more

The Chamuco #2 Breakfast Burrito from "Banda Burrito" was actually excellent. Packed with eggs, chorizo, bacon, sausage, and cheese--definitely hearty and satisfying. The jalapeños added a nice kick without overpowering the flavor, and the tortilla held up well (not soggy, which is a big plus). Ordered through Grubhub, and the driver didn't follow delivery instructions (no plasticware or napkins were included as requested), but that's par for the course for GH drivers --not the restaurant. read more

Came in and it was mildly busy... not a packed house but decent. I ordered four items and waited 45 minutes... 15-20 mins is understandable if they're slammed, but 45 minutes? That's unacceptable. We ordered a late night dinner for takeout, but sadly we were not able to finish our food. The chicken tenders and onion rings both tasted like the oil in the fryer was very very old. The brisket sandwich was fine, but rather dry; it needed much more sauce. The same was true for the mashed potatoes and the corn. They were lacking in butter and taste. No condiments, plastic ware, or napkins were included. With all of other options on International Drive, we will definitely be choosing to go elsewhere in the future. read more

I haven't been in a Denny's in years, so going to one is almost a treat in some respects. I was attending a convention and the hotel across the street didn't have any sort of restaurant in it, so it was up to the restaurants along International Drive to feed me for the days at the convention. Fortunately Denny's was right across the street, so that worked for me in the mornings, and if things got really late I could hit them up at night as well. For some reason restaurants along International Drive like to close at 9pm on the weekends, which seems a bit insane to me considering the sheer amount of park traffic they get. So... it's a Denny's. The menu hasn't really changed in decades, and you can still get the same breakfast fare that you were able to get in 1971. The host staff were pleasant and took care of me, and the food was fine. We ate here after we visited Wonder Works. I can't really complain had really good food and REALLY good service. I ordered a patty melt with a side of pancakes. The patty melt was extra gooey with all the cheese mushrooms and onions melted onto the patty. The bread was nice and buttery crispy. If we're ever in the area again and want dennys we will definitely come back. Oh and before I forget, the manager he is a TRUE manager. Friendly and has the best customer service. Ate here is morning after a good night out with the wife. Don't generally go to Denny's but figured it would be convenient since our hotel was right behind it. Got sat fairly quick serve came over and took our order. My wife and me both got coffee to start and the cup that my wife was brought had lip stick still on it. Now I don't expect a lot from Dennys however, general cleaning of cups is too be expected. Even our silverware was dirty and we had to clean it off with our napkins. I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs with over easy eggs and hash browns well done mainly to make sure they are cooked all the way. Well that didn't happen. I got well done on one side borderline over cooked and raw on the underside. My wife got moon over my hammy. She said it was ok. Honestly if I could give zero stars I would however the sever made it two stars. She was great and very attentive. It was the cleanliness and poor food quality that killed it. Saddest ever burrito from "Banda Burritos".. it was cold to point that the cheese wasn't even melted... the tortilla was barely warm and the burrito itself was flat. Visiting the Orlando area for a few days, I made an early morning breakfast run to Denny's on International Drive. Walking distance from my hotel, it's open 24/7. Quickly seated in an almost empty restaurant, I couldn't help but to notice the "safety" updates. Plexiglass shields between the booths and plenty of hand sanitizer by the door. Staff were wearing masks - but so was I. Polite and efficient, my server - Bree - handed over a menu and asked whether I wanted coffee. Great idea - coffee. After all, it was 3:30 in the morning and I hadn't had my first cup yet. Ordering the coffee, she indicated that a fresh pot would be made. Bree suggested the "Original Grand Slam Breakfast" as the best deal on the menu. Two buttermilk pancakes, two bacon strips, two sausage links, two eggs, and hash browns. Easy order - quick and simple. Breakfast was tasty and served as expected. Bree made sure to keep my coffee cup filled and even prepared a "to go" cup upon my departure. I declined a box for leftovers. Restaurant was clean and modern - no issues with sanitation. Plenty of parking and located in Convention Center area of I-Drive, it's close to everything. William E. All the years of coming to Denny's, by far the most disappointing Denny's I've gone to. Center work station in middle of restaurant was a disaster, and filthy. Besides forks and knives on the ground, constant of plastic soda cups being dropped, in which it echos the whole restaurant. Was given plastic fork and knife set, and steaming hot coffee in a plastic take out cup. Was told that there is no utensils and or coffee cups available because they where all dirty. After ordering food came 15 minutes later (Not Bad), but by then at least have a normal Set of utensils instead of feeling as if I was at a family bbq, using everything plastic. The men's bathroom was crap show, literally a CRAP show. 2 urinals , one of course broken , and 2 toilets disgusting. As mentioned in which I won't get to graphic, but a CRAP show. Full Garbage bags on garbage can and full garbage bag on floor, of course with paper towels all over. I will not let this Denny's stop me in the future from eating at this restaurant, but I assure you when we come back here in July for Family Reunion, I will assure my family not to attend this Denny's for any kind of food. read more

Great place for breakfast! It took a little longer time to wait for a table on Sunday, it is the location on I drive and a lot of tourists . The waitress is very friendly. The coffee is strong and the kids meal is great price. They have the new strawberry crepes breakfast, it was yummy. My daughter loves and was so happy to have the butterfly balloon, they have the balloon service on tables for kids, customers just need to pay the tips for the balloon. Recommend you to try this place. It might be better to go on the weekday to avoid the long line waiting for table. Hope you will enjoy it as we do!! We arrived at this Denny's on I-Drive, were seated right away and given menus, but service was slow during our entire time here on this early Saturday afternoon, and though the place was nearly empty, our food (a simple order of a slam breakfast and an order of pancakes with bacon) seemed to take forever. The floor was absolutely filthy, a few tables had been empty for a while without being cleaned, and when there was an UberEATS order that the driver had come to pick up and a loud alarm kept ringing, the manager who was seated at a table back near the entrance to the kitchen yelled across the restaurant, calling a waitress by name and telling her to take care of it, while shaking his head in disgust. Service staff were friendly, but weren't overly attentive. When we were ready to leave we went to the front register to pay, but it seemed to take forever for a staff member to acknowledge us and assist. In fact, at one point the woman over at the side counter selling discounted theme park tickets tried to get the manager's attention for us but was unable to. For being right in the middle of the tourist area and International Drive, this Orlando location was a great spot. On a Saturday morning, I was quickly seated and had a great server. Venessa was friendly, outgoing and if you were a regular or new visitor, she made sure to stop and chat with you. All while quickly serving her tables. The server who was working graveyard shift tonight was very rude and unpleasant and probably because he doesn't have any help to accommodate late night customers needs. No manager was available either as it looks he was the only person on. We didn't have much time to go to the place we really wanted to go to so we decided to walk next door. Such a waste of time and money going here. Not your typical Denny's. We would've been better off going to Ihop or a local mom and pop diner. Our orders looked like kiddie orders. I ordered a Moons over my Hammy. The eggs were in chunks and fell out of the sandwich. Food was ok, but what really got to me is how the hostess directing divided different racial groups to one side and others in other side , this feels going back in time. Took 9 minutes to get my burger(One of the best I've ever had from Denny's). Promptly got the check. Credit card machine went down as I was trying to pay. So, the manager compt my meal. Popped in on a Saturday at noon. Food was normal dennys- good and quick, but I came here to write about the service. Holy buckets, Paige was amazing. We felt like the only customer in the place as she took the most detailed care of us. She knew the menu inside and out, made recommendations when an item we ordered was out of stock, and was absolutely delightful. We were shown to the table and I asked Shakira if she could wipe the table off, because it was clear it needed to wiped down and that seemed to offend her. She did it but much attitude. I've been to quite a few Denny's in my lifetime. Some are def better than others! This one is terrible. Everything is super greasy, my table was dirty, our seats had smudged food on them. Staff just wiped the grease around with dirty rags & the smells are simply off-putting. The only reason they get the second star is because my coffee was poured in 5 seconds flat. Service was fast, but my skillet was 60% food & 40% oil. 2 breakfasts , a side of bacon & two coffees was about $40. There are a much better places around for the same price. Do yourself and favor and look elsewhere for breakfast. read more

He was extremely rude and ignored us for almost fourty minutes I went to get hot sauce and he asked is we wanted to be a table and walked away said he wasn't going to serve us anymore.
