I was really disappointed with my experience at this Denny's. The biggest issue was seeing a full sized roach crawling around the restaurant. As soon as I saw it, I completely lost my appetite and was concerned about the cleanliness of the restaurant. The service itself was good, and our server was kind, so I do want to give credit where it's due. However, I ordered the kids' grilled cheese because I'm pregnant and can't eat large portions right now. I was never offered a kids' menu or told there would be an upcharge, so I was surprised to be charged full price for just a fucken grilled cheese and hella fries that didn't even end up being eaten. read more

Their cockroach problem needs to be addressed!!! There's nothing worse than sitting at a restaurant and watching the cockroaches come out from behind the pictures on the wall and from underneath the tables to the table tops. Utterly disgusting. If they're in the dining area, you might want to think about what's happening in the kitchen before eating here. There are more problems with this restaurant, but I don't have what it takes to go into it when nothing will ever be done about it. read more

Me and my fiance went here for some breakfast after the gym. The server was very friendly and sweet and our food came out very fast. Our mood completely changed when we noticed a roach casually crawling on the wall beside him. Appetite completely disappeared and we left. It's no wonder why they barely have business. Again, not the servers fault, she was very apologetic and we feel bad for not at least tipping her. But yeah, completely disgusted and obliviously we will never eat there again. We should have checked previous reviews because we aren't the first to experience this. Definitely needs a health inspection or to be shut down. read more

The management at this location refuses to stand by their employees and are using fake and misleading reviews to terminate their servers. Venitha has shown nothing but kindness and wonderful service and this location disregarded her years of work. The day after Christmas is busy but this location was moderately busy Karen was our waitress and very nice but she had alot tables I mean alot !!! When a group of me and my friends had attended the Denny's around 2 AM Monday the 20th, we had encountered Venitha. We recognized her from TikTok, and we're excited to meet her. We then pull up her social media account and saw that she was live streaming so we decided to click on it. As we open up the live stream, she is talking horribly about me and my friends and calling a stupid for asking questions about the menu. Saying I hope that they pay their tab they're probably not gonna tip me, etc. etc. I have never been so disrespected in any establishment, especially before we even got our drinks to the table. I don't think I will be attending this location unless she's gone. I have already filed a complaint with corporate. She is definitely one of the worst servers I have ever experienced in my life. We all have screen recordings of her, talking about us disrespectfully on a live stream right in front of us. Came in with my friends I haven't seen in a while since they moved out of state Sunday late late night. One of my friends recognized venita from tik tok and was so excited to meet her. We were so kind to her and very excited. We ordered waters and milkshakes when one of my friends came from the bathroom and showed that Venita was on live. Talking mad crap about us. Accusing us of being intoxicated, and saying awful things to us on her live. She was not only rude to us, but to talk about us like that when she doesn't think we know who she is is wild. I don't know what kind of establishment has people like her or allows her to do stuff like this. We walked out before we even got our milkshakes. She doesn't know us, and only judged us on our appearance and her own judgements. She should not be allowed to work in an establishment and do that. I can't believe I'm writing this about a Denny's of all places but this was a phenomenal experience, lol. We actually ended up going here twice. Once on our way to our destination and again on our way back. The restaurant is very clean (even the bathrooms!) and I was shocked by the service. Incredibly friendly and fast. The food was way better than it had any right to be. Fresh, well made, and extremely tasty. I wish I lived closer or this would be my go-to diner. Door dash just dropped off my order. There was no butter and syrup for my pancakes, no ketchup, and no utensils with napkins. You should always make sure the order has all the condiments and utensils in the bag. Smh! Disappointed!!!! read more

I should have checked their rating before ordering. I ordered a grand slamwhich and biscuts n gravy for delivery. I got some club sandwich (w/ avo which i hate!) Hashbrowns and BnG. I scraped the avo and disgustingly wilted lettuce off, but it was still horrible. The BnG (apparently made just 12min before i tried it) was beyond cold, inedible. Upon arrival, our party was approached by the hostess, who directly asked if my dog was a service dog. When I politely informed her that he is and that she is not legally permitted to ask that, we waited patiently to be seated. However, as we were being shown to our booth, a shift manager approached us and demanded to know again if the dog was a service dog.I reminded management that under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), staff are limited to asking only two specific questions:Is the animal required because of a disability?What work or task the animal has been trained to perform?Instead of accepting this, the manager continued to press the issue, making a loud spectacle of us as we were trying to just have a family meal. I should not have to publicly defend my disability or announce private medical details to a crowded dining room just to receive basic accommodation. The way staff and management handled this situation was highly inappropriate and violated my civil rights as a disabled individual. read more

Only giving 3 stars because the wait staff deserve to be given credit for busting their butts and always being friendly and upbeat. Typical Dennys location, next to highway, busy on a Sunday afternoon after the local churches let out. As far as the food goes, the pancakes are always a good, safe bet. Sadly, I opted to try something new on the menu. Chicken and biscuit gravy bowl. What can be said about the bowl of tasteless paste with eggs that didn't taste of anything and a chicken tender or two that also didn't taste of anything. I started off by noting that the biscuits didn't seem fully cooked and added a bit of pepper. Then took a bite, added enough hot sauce to drown a horse, took another bite, added salt (which I never do, restaurant food is normally salted big time already) and a TON more pepper. Still tasted like paste but paste with a tiny bit of pepper. I don't know how it countered the hot sauce and pepper, but it somehow did. If you are looking to try something "new" or different pass on the chicken and biscuit gravy bowl. It is the worst item that I've ever had at a Dennys in my lifetime. The Wait staff is great! If reviewing just on the chicken biscuit and gravy bowl, they'd get a solid 1 of 5 stars. If it was just for staff, I'd give them a 4 read more

I don't usually write Yelp reviews, but I stopped by this Denny's for breakfast last Friday and I was blown away by the wait staff. They were very busy but my food came out fast, and my waitress Amia was very attentive. All the servers worked well together, Veronica and Vanyda made sure my coffee cup was never empty! I have been to this restaurant several times. The manager is out of control and yelling at the workers in front of customers. This has happened several times when I have been there. Totally inappropriate behavior. Can't control his temper. If he was working for the company that I work for he would be out the door. If one of our employees did something wrong we would bring them into the office, ask them to explain what happened, and then consider the appropriate action, not just yell at them and not listen to them. Ordered food, and it came out one person at a time (read one meal, 10 mins later another meal, 10 mins later another...) and not just the meals came out that way; beverages also. Our simple pancake meal took 45+ mins for the last item to emerge from the kitchen, and we didn't get to eat together as by the time the last meal arrived the first meal would've been cold cold cold. Our server didn't seem to understand what we were asking for, and brought out different items than asked for. When asked about it, we were told that she brought us what we asked for (we weren't). In her defense, she did what she could to make it right on the check, but even with that they didn't honor the promotions that were on the menus (yes, plural) that were brought to the table. Waited for a really long time for food to come out. When the food came out it was disappointing. Hash browns were under cooked, biscuits are super flat. Wild Salmon Dinner for $11?" I wanted to go to KFC, but my wife forced me to go here. As usual, she was right. On a busy post-Thanksgiving weekend, I was afraid it might be crowded, but we got a seat without too much trouble. They have a small senior menu, and it includes wild salmon with two side dishes for about $11. What a deal! My wife and I both spring for this meal. We barely qualify for senior meals, of course. You might think it would be some cheap meal, but you would be wrong. It is a very tasty dish. For my two sides I had mashed potatoes and sweet corn. They gave me gravy on the side. Hubby and I had late night cravings while visiting friends in Patterson. We called in our order and picked it up right before closing. The lady who helped us was extremely sweet and made check-out such a breeze. She made sure to go through our order in front of us to make sure nothing was missing. When we brought the food home, we were very satisfied with our meals. We both ordered the slamburger. It came with PLENTY of fries ;) The burger itself was delicious and perfectly cooked. All the ingredients worked so well with each other. We both were so satisfied with our meals. I'm sure we will have to pay this place a visit again sometime in the future, as we have been here in the past before. It has always been consistently great. read more

Very clean restaurant, and friendly and attentive service. I ordered chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and freshly cooked vegetables. My meal was served hot, which I like and appreciate, and the vegetables were a delight. Unfortunately the mashed potatoes had a pasty taste and the consistency of instant mashed potatoes when too much water has been added. There was ample gravy covering both the meat and potatoes, but it was also slightly runny (too much water). If I stop here again as I travel I5, I'll order something different, and I'll stop because of the restaurant's cleanliness and pleasant wait staff. read more

I was rolling my Work Whip Big Ken down Highway 5 and was craving a traditional Breakfast . I happened upon this Dennys and rolled in . I parked Big Ken in the Parking Lot and rolled in . I was greeted and seated and presented with a Menu. I perused the Menu and ordered the Lumberjack Slam . The Lumberjack Slam consists of 2 Pancakes , 2 slices of Bacon ,2 Sausages , 2 Sunnyside up Eggs 2 Slices of Toast and Hash Browns. 15 Minute later I had my Slam. The Pancakes were good . The other items portions could have been larger but it still hit the spot. Service was good and the place was clean. I paid by Discover Card and rolled out. read more

Ordered my food online around 11:40 and it was supposed to be ready at noon. I arrived and was asked for the name on the order by one of the staff who said they would check on it. She did not return to inform me the status of my food. Apparently something was going on because they stopped seating customers due to some water leak. 15 minutes later I asked another server to check on my food, she didn't come back to inform me the status of my order. I asked another server around 12:30 to find out how much longer, she didn't come back and all 3 are just ignoring me. Finally around 12:50 a server brig's my food out and asks me to sign for it, no sorry for taking so long, the wait NOTHING! Wow -- (And obvi this is a 5 star review keeping in mind it's a Denny's) -- this Denny's dinner was surprisingly great: great service from one of the friendliest servers I've ever had; delicious mashed potatoes with my veggie dinner-omelette; more vegetarian options than I remember (even an actual skillet, in addition to all the breakfast dishes, grilled cheeses and salads and sides and stuff); and great music! I don't know if I've ever eaten in Patterson before, and I have no idea if this is representative at all of Denny's in general, but I'd certainly return to this place. read more

So I went in on a Thursday night at about 1045 their hours listed are till midnight however they would not seat me and my family they thought I said that we were closing and we could take it to go order. I figured the food would be fresh you know since I just put in the order so I decided to go ahead and take the to go order even though I was Upset about it and really wanted my food piping hot. I mainly come here for the mozzarella sticks and oh my god they were so cold it was ridiculous as soon as I got to my car I opened them up I didn't even wait till I get home and not even one cheese pull And I gave her a $10 tip for what taking my order to go ridiculous never again read more
