The day after Christmas is busy but this location was moderately busy Karen was our waitress and very nice but she had alot tables I mean alot !!! Our food was okay...my eggs cooked perfectly but my bacon and sausage was...let me say under cooked and greasy my pancakes also perfect... regular coffee Note: they were really busy we will come back but not on a busy day such as this...my husband's first fries were not fresh but they did make a fresh batch

Apparently this is a 'grand slamwhich '

I should have checked their rating before ordering. I ordered a grand slamwhich and biscuts n gravy for delivery. I got some club sandwich (w/ avo which i hate!) Hashbrowns and BnG. I scraped the avo and disgustingly wilted lettuce off, but it was still horrible. The BnG (apparently made just 12min before i tried it) was beyond cold, inedible. The only thing that was ok, was the Hashbrowns. Thankfully doordash refunded me, but dear god how could you screw that up!

Plus, I had always wanted to try a Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwich. It's located in a small strip mall in view of the freeway. There are EV charging stations in the adjacent lot. The interior of the restaurant is bland with only chips and drinks displayed. A few small tables inside. The lady that helped me was extremely friendly. I asked her what the most traditional Banh Mi was and she said that it was the pork and ham. I ordered that and an iced Vietnamese coffee. The coffee is solid. Extremely flavorful. She said that they use condensed milk in the coffee. The sandwich was good. The flavor is interesting and the jalapeños give it a jolt. Good bread and I think it was slightly toasted. All in all a good lunch.

Just for their courtesy and cooperation, I will up their score by a point for their tea, from a zero to a one. DENVER OMELETTE: 9/10. Good flavor, good ingredients, was a bit small. This visit happened to fall on Mother's Day weekend. We had reservations for both Saturday and Sunday, but we stopped in on Saturday to cancel that day's reservation since we'd already eaten lunch and knew we wouldn't be hungry by dinnertime. On Sunday, when we checked in for our reservation, I was impressed -- the hostess remembered us by name, which says a lot considering how many guests come through the restaurant. We were seated, and soon after we were greeted by Eleanor, our server. She was warm, attentive, and never made us feel pressured, which was a huge improvement from a previous visit. She answered every question I had, including how they cook a medium‑rare steak (every chef has their own interpretation, lol). She also gave an honest answer when I asked whether the vegetables used at dinner come from their greenhouse. The service felt genuine, and the food was excellent -- a much better experience than my last review. This visit was absolutely worth the return. Kudos to Eleanor and the Kitchen at The Mission.

The place turned out great with the old fashioned retro red color style interior and the experience was wonderful. Good vibes and positive feelings when walking into it. My lady server provided excellent service and the Hispanic male worker was quick and efficient. Place is clean and menu had good variety of selections. Breakfast is served all day while lunch items start at 11am. My breakfast was very fulfilling and total was $25.30 with everything included. I paid in cash and tipped them $5. I do miss big American breakfasts, especially in these old fashioned and traditional retro spots. Love it. Why didn't I visit this place much earlier? I went for the blueberry pancakes, and wow: they were enormous, fluffy, packed with real blueberries, and basically the perfect pre-hike fuel. And the coffee? Amazing, as always. I meant to take a picture of my food, but honestly I accidentally didn't--because everything looked so good that I dug in immediately. Staff here are friendly, there's a solid bit of history and kitsch in the very back on the way to the restrooms, giving character to what is otherwise a decidedly local, low-frills experience. The steak salad (was it a steak taco salad?) looked quite tasty but also ordinary so I skipped it and stuck with breakfast; the sausage and eggs were very much unremarkable, but at least the hashbrowns were nicely pan fried and the eggs were a large portion. Biscuit and gravy reinforced the former impression, but again, hard to complain-- did the job. This place is super affordable and the overall verdict is a solid local place that's easy to appreciate but hard for me to say I would actually get excited about.
