Went in very happy and ready to jus relax and have a simple meal, waiter came and took our order, we ordered coffee and hot cocoa with our food, after taking our order the waiter never came back, no waters came, no drinks ever showed up, not one waiter was even in the dining room, two ppl stayed at the front desk talking, for ab half an hour, So our food comes, still no waters no drinks, let me tell u this food looked worse than heated up leftovers, then the waiter disappeared again, AND THEN THERE WAS HAIR IN THE GRAVY and I was just done, we sat there for another 15 min bc the waiter was just gone, so my family member is just holding this gravy covered hair and there's NO ONE TO TELL, So finally I had to get up and go to the front desk to the manager, I told him we hadn't got drinks, that our plates looked inedible, and about the HAIR ON THE FOOD! I used to visit this restaurant quite often, especially after they updated their menu -- the food improved significantly. I typically came in the evening or late at night, and about a year ago, the manager, David, was fantastic. He trained the staff well, and everyone was friendly and welcoming. However, over the past few months, the atmosphere and service have completely changed. The staff now seem gloomy and uninterested, rarely speaking to customers. Today was particularly disappointing. When I sat down, I noticed ants crawling all over the pancake syrup bottle, and small flies were stuck to the handle. It was extremely unsanitary. I usually order the Cali-Taco Skillet, but they told me they were out of tortilla -- yet they didn't offer any alternatives or discounts. Even worse, the skillet, which is usually served on a wooden base to protect the table and customers, was placed directly on the table. As a result, the food got cold very quickly. When I pointed out all these issues, they only offered a $6 discount, which felt inadequate considering the experience. It's also clear they don't regularly clean or wipe down condiment bottles. I'm honestly relieved my family didn't order pancakes today. This place is nothing like it was a year ago. I'm not sure if any good employees are still left, but based on today's experience, I have to give 1 star for the service. No apology, no care, and absolutely zero stars if that were possible. read more

I usually get the grand slam but today I did the French toast grand slam. I asked for soft scramble eggs and they were a little weird. Other than that it was good. I just ordered food for myself and my family. It was a long day and we decided on breakfast for dinner! Huge mistake. The food we received was awful. The sandwich had mayo even though we were very clear that it was I wanted. The eggs, bacon, and hash browns in mine were not edible. The hash browns were soggy and tasted of cardboard, the bacon was limp and cold, and the eggs were just not eggs. I am so disappointed in what we were given. You as a business, the manager, the shift lead, and the cooks should all be embarrassed and ashamed of what you are sending out your door. My poor wife is cooking now, even after we ordered all this food. Shame on you!!!! Lord, let the cheesecake be better than the pig slop they sent me! Came in earlier today and service was prompt and quick. Everything came out hot and fresh. I had the Santa Fe Sizzling Skillet. Crumbled chorizo sausage, fire-roasted bell peppers & onions, mushrooms and seasoned red-skinned potatoes. Topped with Cheddar cheese and two sunny side up eggs. Food was delicious and I actually could not eat it all. It was very plentiful. My coffee cup stayed full. This was the first time ever I was given a option of what creamer I preferred. As a kid, Denny's was our road trip stop and also the only place our parents knew to take us for breakfast in town. It definitely brings back good memories and feels very nostalgic. Now, as I've had breakfast at different places all around, Denny's in my opinion hasn't stood the test of time. I'm giving it 3 stars because you get what you pay for here. Great prices with not the best quality food. If they charged higher prices I would rate it lower. It was not nasty by any means, but I could make the exact same breakfast at home with cheap ingredients. Pancakes from the box and frozen meats. The customer service here was great. Denny's is definitely a good option for a quick and cheap meal that's not fast food. I'll stick to keeping in my rotation for any future road trips. read more

Had a very bad experience here 7/17/22. was being waited on by Linda shift manager. Food had taken 45 minutes at the point where I decided to get up and inquire about the remaining wait. No one had checked back with my table in a while. I went to the front register and no one was there. A busser was walking toward me and I politely said "excuse me," he ignored me. Then I asked if he had heard me he responded "Yeah, you see what I'm doing" with two saucers in his hand. I asked for the manager who happened to be my server (Linda). I explained to her the exchange with the bus staff (Quavion) and she was helpful while Quavion ranted around the restaurant that I was "acting like a baby." Food came very soon after and was good. I honestly do not know how to rate this Denny's. I have mixed emotions about this location. Reason being is because when I go late night on the weekends and get food and desert it is always good and when I say late night I mean after 11:00 p.m. .one thing I would like to point out is that the restaurant needs to be a bit cleaner ...I have been in there with no one there and the table were dirty and the floors need a deep clean and good vacuuming....I usually do not eat at dirty establishments but it appears to be on the surface dirty which still needs to be addressed ..come on people eat here.... The waiters Late night on the weekends there are very attentive they listen well and my order is 99.9% correct. The small things that they miss maybe something like condiments or something but nothing major to even talk about. On the other note when we go earlier in the day or earlier in the night the food is sub par, the service is lackluster and I just don't know what's going on. The other night on Valentine's Day I took my kids to go eat we waited over 1 hour to get our food. I am a very patient person and I want to be an example to my children when we go out to be patient regardless of the situation .. but in this instance this experience was just horrible. I was understanding to a point because they were short staffed from the kitchen to the wait staff. The waiter that I had was a young gentleman with glasses, and braids , and he was super kind and he kept checking on us and ensuring that our order will be out soon and he apologized for the fact that they were lacking the help needed that night. I appreciate this waiter very much because the situation was out of his control. The service was horrible i came during the overnight shift. I was 1 old african american lady working as the only server i assume. The service was not good she was rude wouldnt even hold a conversation with her table. This was my second time visiting here and I must say, I had a bad experience. My first visit was about 4 months ago during early morning hours. The waiter was very inexperienced, brought my food out late and continued to converse with this coworkers as I had no napkins or silverware to enjoy my food. I patiently waited and tipped very well but the service was inexcusable. You can have fun on the job but whenever it comes to a server not being attentive to their job, it makes the whole restaurant look bad. My second time, which was today, was bad as well. The hostess sat me at a dirty table with mushed food on the floor so I decided to move myself. The waiter came over and asked for my drinks. I said coffee and water. He brought both but didn't bring cream so he brings cream like 1.5 seconds later. I noticed he grabbed the cream from a dirty table and the bowl that had the cream inside had white stuff all over it. This location is very clean & has delicious food! This is my second time here in a week & it hasn't disappointed on either visit. I ordered the French Toast slam & substituted my eggs for cheese grits. My friend ordered a Grand Slam with cheese eggs & sausage. And my mentee ordered the Reindeer pancakes from the kids menu. We all enjoyed our meals & everyone left happy plates (meaning empty plates) :-). This location definitely ranks far above the one I went to in Dallas last week! Really disappointed with this Denny's. We came late (around 10pm) and wanted breakfast. The sunny side up eggs are fine but the scrambled eggs tasted rubbery. The bacon and sausage are so-so. Hash browns are under cooked. Diet coke is watered down and flat. I was going to order pancakes but the syrup container pour nozzle is dirty with some kind of white sauce. OK, I'm as surprised as you are. The service was excellent. The food was excellent. I was seated immediately. I ordered the sirlion with squash and chedder mashed potatoes. The steak was cooked as I asked. Not overcooked at all. Chedder mashed potatoes are mashed potatoes with shredded cheese on top. Still good.
