Oml this place took an hour and a half of my day. No wonder Sagatheyoungin a youtuber has beef with Denny's. We put in our order and waited 47 minutes for it to come. The food wasn't even that good and the hashbrowns were crispier then the bacon, which was barely cooked. THE SEATS WERE LITERALLY STICKY. First let me say that Donny is the main reason a vast majority of people still go to this location, the building is literally falling down, the evening crew turns the ac down so low that is causes a large amount of condensation which inturn causes ceiling tiles to come crashing down around you. The main issue is there is no consistency as to opening, some days they unlock the doors at 6am, today for example was not unlocked until 635am. Kaja is over the top , guessing they were very short handed, but she made sure everything was great. Mac and cheese wasn't up to standards and she noticed I pushed it away and asked what was wrong went to kitchen and they were out. So asked what she could replace it with . She is a very friendly and caring server. Made sure we were good at all times . Second time we've been to the 9 mile and will be back both times we received great service and food. We used to get the Pot Roast Sandwich and we loved it! We went to order it this evening and it's not showing up on the menu anymore, so we tried the Brisket It All Melt. That was the worst sandwich I've ever had from Denny's! The meat was nothing but gristle! We couldn't chew it at all! It also had an egg on it, which I thought would be good, but it was overdone. We went at 11 am on a Sunday. We were seated right away. The restaurant was not busy. It took more than 10 minutes for the waitress to take our drink order. We put in our food order and 30 minutes later we still did not have our food. We asked our waitress why it was taking so long and she said she would send a manager to talk to us. She did not say sorry it's taking so long or I will go check. She just did not seem to care. So we left and went to Waffle House a few minutes away where we ordered and ate in less than 30 minutes. The cushions in the booth seats were worn out with an uncomfortable piece of wood underneath to keep chiropractors in business. Meal wait time was 35 min. Tried again for lunch 3 days later, ordered cheesy beef sandwich got something with eggs and ham, took 1/2 hr. to get the right sandwich. Husband's plate was good though and we had a great conversation while he ate, and we waited for my sandwich. Will never recommend them to anyone. Incredible experience. Walked in for an early dinner and was promptly greeted and sat. The ambiance was on point, loved all the Christmas decorations. The server was the only one on the clock at the time it seemed but unless I was paying attention to things like that (I work in food service myself) I never would have noticed. She was super attentive and answered any questions we had. Honestly wasn't expecting much when it came to the food but was pleasantly surprised with the fair. Couple that with the fact that i was able to feed my family of three for only 32 dollars and everyone left full and happy and it made for an awesome dining experience, we will definitely be back. read more

First time I've ordered Denny's on Grubhub and it took over an hr for my food to actually get to me, when my Grubhub delivery guy gave me my food, they told me that Denny's didn't prepare the food until the driver got to the restaurant so the driver had to wait for the food to be made. This is the 2nd time I'm ordering from Denny's on Grubhub and I ordered at 7:55pm and the restaurant got my ordered according to the app, it is 9:27pm and my food is still not here.... I would've given Denny's a better review if they didn't have so many cons that has happened to me tonight. I went to order like I usually do and decided to try something new which was Denny's. Getting my food was very fast, and I really liked that, one star for that! I had ordered a chicken tenders dinner classic, and when I opened my food up, I saw half burn't over crispy chicken tenders. They tasted somewhat decent. The garlic bread was a good portion but didn't have any overall taste to them at all. On another note, I began to lift my tray and to my surprise I had a really good amount of fresh and delicious onion rings! Another star for this! The other side...it was a nightmare, It's as if someone ate the other side almost. I had a very small portion of Queso and Broccoli, and it didn't even taste good at all... Service here is hit or miss depending on the server as they don't seem to work as a team. There is a lot of that's mine this is yours between them. There is also not trust by management to employees. This has been demonstrated different ways but the smallest was a simple mistake costing .79 cents could only be reversed off the check by the manager Jennifer. She was busy checking items off the delivery truck so I had to wait ten minutes for her to come to the register to fix the check. The staff doesnt have assigned roles so there is a lot of waiting for a table even though a lot of the tables are empty. We just moved here and over the last two months while digging out boxes we have eaten here probably 10-15 times and very few of those times has it been hassle free. I will give a kudo to the cooks food is always hot and good even if it takes longer then seems it should (15-30 mins). read more

The waitress comes back about 10 minutes later to say they were out and we need to order something else. Should've left then but didn't. The meals we ordered were terrible!!! My husband and I came here a few weeks ago, and had excellent service and thought we'd come back! Well, our experience tonight was less than pleasurable. When we arrived, we were seated fairly quickly. After being seated, our waitress, Vicki, came and asked what we wanted to drink. Didn't greet us, nor did she talk with us about any specials, nor had an attitude of service. We put our drink orders in, and took some time looking over the menu. When she came back to take our order, my brother advised her that he did not want eggs with his meal and she rolled her eyes. She went back to the kitchen, and yells, "Fuck this." Her and "Adam" we're in the back arguing very loudly. We didn't get an update on the status of our meal and our drinks were not kept filled. When our food came out, our hash browns were cold, there were no bananas on my pancake, and my brother found a hair on his pancakes. As I advise her of the problem, she was cutting me off and told me what she thought I wanted to hear without allowing me to finish my thought. She bought "fresh, hot" hashbrowns out that were still cold. At this point, we just asked for to go plates and left. VERY dissatisfied. And there's a very high chance, that we will not be returning. I understand that places are short staffed, but that should never never take the place of good customer service. read more

Sat immediately with maybe 3/4 full restaurant. Waitress was there quickly and took our order. So far so good. Only it took her almost 20 mins to get our order entered, and then it took about 45 mins to get our pancakes. My skillet was a fairly small portion. I was expecting more food. Oh and she never checked on us while we waited for our food, not for refills or to let us know what was going on. When we checked out and mentioned the long wait, all the cashier said was, "We had heard the kitchen was slow...". Needless to say we won't be back. read more

The food is what you'd expect from a Denny's. No complaint there. Service is good. But there seems to be a horrible problem in the kitchen and it looks like terrible management. They have cooks walk out on a regular basis, it seems, because far too often that has been the excuse for the extremely long wait for our meal. It's absolutely ridiculous. Poor hiring, or bad work environment. Maybe if they fix this problem more cars would be in the parking lot. read more
