There's not much to say--it's Denny's. The service was good, but like in many of their locations, there was only one server handling all the tables. When it gets busy, it's just too much for one person. The food was okay ‍. It's more of a stop-by kind of place when there aren't many other options. read more

Awful! They handled allergies so badly to the point I barely ate my food because I felt unsafe. On top of that it took forever and the food was super expensive for something I barely ate for feeling unsafe. This is the WORST Denny's I have ever been to. We stopped in about 7pm, to get some breakfast. There was one "server" who could barely speak English. We stood at the hostess stand for almost 10 minutes without being acknowledge. He finally looked up and said "I'll be with you in just a minute." Instead of seating us, he went and got drinks for one table already seated. He then went to the second table, and proceeded to get their order. We stood for another almost 10 minutes. We REALLY wanted breakfast, but, this was clearly a problem. There were 2 tables, and us in the whole restaurant. We decided to leave. I understand that they were short-staffed, but, this seems to be a usual problem for this Denny's, as it's not the first time this happened, but, it is the first time I'm doing a review on them. Why even stay open if you can't provide service to your customers? Management should be in there helping with seating, serving, or cooking; where ever help is needed. Denny's we wrote you off!!! We're locals, and there are just too many other breakfast places that would appreciate our business. read more

We tried other local breakfast places but the wait time was horrendous, so we decided to go to Dennys. We love Dennys and trust them. The location is convenient and across from Top Jump. There is plenty of parking. Food: I ordered the Classic Benny. My husband order the Lumberjack Slam with the Carmel Pancakes. He said "I thought it was fine" and enjoyed his soft and greasy hash browns . The Hash Browns were soft and greasy. The bacon was cooked soft. The Hollandaise sauce was thick and the ham was too salty. The eggs- one was fried but runny and the other was fried and did not run. The caramel pancakes never came- the waitress was very kind about it and apologized that she had given them to the wrong table and it was her third day. Service: service was pretty fast once seated. Unfortunately they were short staffed- the hostess was seating people, checking people in, and was the person you pay. There were 3-4 cooks, and only two waitresses for the entire restaurant. We waited for about 15 minutes to be sat. I don't hold this against them- they were all hustling and can only do what they can work with. Ambience: very clean and well lit. You are able to hear people at your table. As we were leaving, we heard a customer say her experience was not good, they didn't like the food, and there were items on her bill they never ordered. read more

Giving it a 1 star, because I can't give it a negative 5 stars . First off waited 30 minutes, to be seated. Then when We finally got seated it was another 30 minutes to get some one to take order. We ordered and the water tasted like dirt, the tea & lemonade tasted like the blue water from a toilet. The coke was not coke it was like a the drainage out of the drain on fountain machine.Tried to talk to manager David, and he was too busy with an employee who was cussing because she couldn't get clocked out and the she needed to get the hell out of there. We like to stop here everytime we visit pigeon forge. My husband and I have been together for 30 years and Dennys was a huge part of our dating and at the beginning of our marriage.. going late night and having dessert. We came in for dinner and my husband got the super bird. It's always been his favorite . He really enjoyed it. I had the country fried steak w the red skinned potatoes and corn. It was delicious.. the only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is we had to wait about 10 minutes before we were sat and it wasn't busy. We left Dollywood when the rain started plus a weather bug notification of lightning in the area and parts of the park closing. My wife and I were celebrating our 20th anniversary and we are both 72 so it doesn't take much cold rain and wind to convince you to head for the truck. My wife suggested Denny's and before I became a professor, I had worked for the manufacturing part of Denny's in Texas so I was good with that suggestion. Our waitress was Rachel and she made us feel very welcome and we had excellent service and we enjoyed our food. The ambiance was quiet because we were almost halfway finished before others came in. I ordered the Grill Chicken Cobb Salad for pick-up and they forgot to put in bacon, avocado, potato sticks and hard boiled eggs - the salad only came with lettuce, chicken, cheese and tomatoes for $12.99. 1/2 of all ingredients were missing. First visit to Denny's in Pigeon Forge. Took a longer than normal time for hostess to greet and seat us considering restaurant was pretty empty. Our server Darinson was very attentive and provided great service. The restaurant itself was very clean and appeared to be very well maintained. Ample parking and easy access from the main road. The menu had a lot to choose from and had nice specials clearly advertised. Our food came out hot and exactly how we ordered. We will definitely return on our next visit. read more

My family was craving breakfast for dinner so we stopped at the nearby Dennys. I wasn't expecting much as I've always had a "just ok" experience at Dennys in the past. Not this time, it was great!! The good. My girls had grand slam breakfasts and we ordered the bourbon bacon cheeseburger (made mine a double). The breakfast platters were cooked to perfection! The eggs (one over easy, one scrambled) were perfectly cooked and the pancakes were the perfect fluffy. My burger was HUGE and the meat quality was outstanding. Most importantly, the service was fairly prompt and very friendly. Usually the service is the part of Dennys that lacks the most but our server Darinson was polite and attentive. The bad. Not much really. It did take about 10 minutes to get our initial drink order but after that we were rolling. There were not a lot of tables (5-6) but only 2 servers so it did take them a minute to get to us. I ordered beer-battered onion rings with my burger for an additional .99 cents. I only got 5 rings so I was pretty disappointed...but they were delicious! The ugly. Usually the service is subpar but the food is pretty good at Dennys. This was by far the best experience I've had! I don't know where else you could feed a family of 4 so well for $55 (+tip). 4.5/5 stars! read more

Terrible service, the waitress was very bitter and not helpful at all, very hard to get a refill when the restaurant is not busy, the pictures below are the egg (over medium) I had to order twice and still wasn't fully correct, the pancakes are blueberry pancakes that are extremely dry and not evenly spread. We're out of blueberry syrup. All in all a total disaster I would give negative stars if possible. It took a total of an 45 mins to an hour to receive our food that was terrible, the restaurant had 3 servers with 4 TABLES!!!! So ridiculous, I thought I was at dennys in pigeon forge not Juarez Mexico. read more
