My youngest loves Denny's. We haven't dine at any Denny's in a long while and when we asked if he wanted to go, he jumped off his bed and said YES! If I remember correctly, our waitress was the same person we had the last time we came to dine at this location, Angela. She great! Friendly and attentive. We tried couple of the new Master of The Universe items and regular menu items. The purple shake was very good, you taste more of the strawberry than the blueberries, it was creamy and not overly sweet or sour. Got my son the Ethernia's Everyday Value Slam with the mint ice cream on the side. The ice cream was very good. My son enjoyed his pancakes, the texture were bouncy with like a chewiness to them. I got the One Piece Country Fried Steak, I usually order the two piece dinner Country Fried Steak but this one was very good for the price. The sides you get to choose from for the One Piece meal is the dinner menu sides. So I got fries and broccoli. The fries were like 'puffed', it was very crispy and kind of hollow in the center, I liked it. The toast that came with my meal was garlic toast and it was very good. This sauce on the steak is MUCH better this time, it's not overly thick or thin or too salty or peppery, it was very good all around. Hubby got the breakfast one piece country fried steak (not sure the menu name for it, but it was almost double the price of mine). He gets to choose from the breakfast side options, so he got eggs and hash (reasons why it cost more). My son also wanted the fried mozzarella sticks. I just noticed from my old photo that we've ordered the mozzarella sticks here before and it came with like 6 sticks, but now it comes with 4 large sticks. The breading on the mozzarella had a slight bitter after taste that I can't figure out, aside from that, they were pretty good. I hope they'll keep up the good work and hopefully the next time we come back, the food will still taste great. read more

My husband and I went to Denny's, and the food was amazing. I had the ultimate omelet with extra crispy hash browns and wheat toast. My husband had country-fried steak with extra-crispy hash browns and white toast. The food was amazing. Our waitress was named "Kiandra D." She was very attentive to our needs. She stated she was new and asked for our patience, and if we needed anything, just let her know. You would think she has been working on it for years. She was an expert; she made sure we received everything we needed. Usually, when I go there, the service is okay, but she makes me want to continue coming to that location. They need to give her a raise because she puts the seasoned worker to shame. The food was very fresh and good, and I was pleased. My husband was pleased as well; his plate was clean. Lol! We enjoyed the food last night. The waiter Jordan was good. Good not great. He just forgot to come back after serving us our food. Therefore my burger got cold as I yearned for Mayothe T-bone was surprisingly on point, medium! not medium rare or medium well just medium. We had to request a steak knife and butter and syrup for our pancakes. I think those things should have been delivered before our food. Covering all the bases. I'm sure Jordan will learn how to get those higher tips. On last thing the portion sizes of the sides are quite laughable. So much so that Jordan had to bring out the seasoned fries with an explanation as to why it was so puny. We good have literally counted them on our two hands. On Saturday, November 2nd, I went with my family to have breakfast to celebrate my birthday, and we arrived around 10 a.m. We placed our order, but time passed and we did not receive our food. We noticed that other customers, who arrived after us, were being served. The waitress did not offer any explanation and walked by our table without acknowledging us. After waiting for over an hour, I decided to ask what was happening. Finally, they brought me the breakfast, but it was incomplete and the pancakes were undercooked; I even took a photo of that. It was such a frustrating experience that I ended up crying. Additionally, they refused to give me the birthday breakfast coupon that had been sent to me, which was very disappointing. The attitude of the waitress and the staff was terrible, making us feel unwelcome in the place. I feel very let down and, unfortunately, I have no intention of returning. To start we sat down and there was hair on our table that I had just watched the hostess wipe down ... Then once seated and the server finally took our order we waited for 40mins before our food came out ... The server never came to check on us or get us refills ... Denny's is a dependable place to get breakfast. There are many different morning meals to choose from: omelettes, French toast, pancakes, eggs, etc. They have "fit" stickers by the menu items that are under a certain number of calories and have a certain number of grams of protein. My friend got the french toast. She described it as crunchy on the outside, soft & gooey on the inside...it was perfect combination of textures. If I could give zero stars TRUST ME, I would. STAY AWAY FROM POINCIANA DENNYS!!! This is the SECOND time ordering from this place and being completely disappointed and treated like crap. I've worked in customer service before so I tend to be really kind and understanding but these people are RUDE and have ZERO customer service. How do we order a T-bone steak breakfast and get home to open a container with BROCCOLI AND FRENCH FRIES?! It was 3am and we wanted to eat go to bed after a long day. When I call them up to let them know about THEIR mistake, the manager did nothing but argue and place the blame on us. My fiancé had called the order in to the restaurant and he called him a liar saying that was "not physically possible honey" yet here I was speaking to a LIVE HUMAN BEING from their location!! Let's get to the "honey" part. He kept calling me "honey" and "sweetie" after explaining how it was not their problem as if I'm an idiot. They did nothing to correct the issue AT ALL. I'm disappointed that Poinciana Dennys has become this way. It's declined so much over the years. We kept trying to give them chances, but enough is enough. I've been living the area for 23 years and as far as I can remember Denny's has always been here. Over the years it has always been the go to place for breakfast, or lunch for me. For a period the business was in need of some serious love, but over the last year or so things have changed. The business has been given a modern renovation and new menu. So when you first walk in awesome beautiful but if you go sit down some of the tables have mini spiders EVERYWHERE. That made me lose my appetite immediately. But, some tables do not have mini spiders everywhere, except they smell like mildew. The food though is delicious! Online is waste of time. Placed order online; has option to get quick or later; I chose later which changed pickup time from Noon to 12:15. I arrived at 12:15 and found they had just pulled the ticket and they said they would make mine priority but be another 10 minutes.
