The employees are nice and polite but slow. Drinks not refilled unless you ask. Bathrooms are not as clean as they should be. Every time my wife and I go here one of us gets food poisoning. The last straw was when we vomited in the restaurant and the manager wouldn't listen to our complaint. He compensated a glass of orange juice and left us with the rest of the bill despite the fact that we threw up our entire meal before we left. Edit: Up from a 1 star review. Our waitress, Teresa, might be the nicest person I've ever met. She refilled everything without having to be asked and brought extra napkins, hash browns and pancakes because we were a larger party. The only complaint I have is that my Mango Lemonade was way too tart and sweet. Other than that I had a great experience. I ordered the All American Slam which came with two eggs, two strips of bacon, two sausage links, hash browns and toast. I couldn't finish the whole thing, but I rarely finish a meal regardless. Everything was pretty mediocre as far as breakfast food goes. I didn't really order anything extravagant so there isn't much to brag about other than the exceptional service, which is enough to bring me back. Waited 23 minutes for our take out order. Order # 202302. The large woman who took our order (Jessica G is the receipt is accurate) was prompt in taking our money and that's when the promptness stopped. My wife and I sat and waited. And waited. And waited. After 15 minutes (for skillets) I went to the register and asked where our food was. "Jessica G" said "Well, ALL these other people have orders in as well." She gestured around the dining area. There were five other families in that area- two of which had come in AFTER my wife and I. I know this because I watched them come in as we sat by the door. After 20 minutes, I stood by the register. Another Hispanic (my wife and I were the only white patrons in the restaurant) girl gestured at us, said something to "Jessica" and they both had a good laugh. Then when our order was done, "Jessica" didn't even bring it over- she let the other pear shaped woman bring it over to us. I said "Do we at least get an apology for our order taking 23 minutes?" She said "Have a nice day" and turned and walked off. As a regular (well, not anymore) of this Denny's and someone who has run restaurants bigger than this Denny's and is 52 years old, I feel that these two woman have no respect whatsoever for their patrons and should not be in the food service business. read more

Bro, this place has the worst customer service ever, at first I thought it was a fluke, but my god. I went into the store to pick-up two doordash order's, one for Byron and Marieliz at around 8:30p.m. I walked in and stood by the doordash order stand, with a LARGE amount of order's on it, so I waited normally till a server gave me an order since I have to sign for it. i waited infront of a server for 5 minutes, and was ignored by said server, as if I wasn't standing there, not even being acknowledged, and didn't look for the order or anything once she greeted. I waited another 5 minutes, which made me frustrated as I was representing a customer. I got the attention of a server named Paul, who walked behind the counter, ignoring me. I asked for the manager as I felt this was unprofessional. I told her I was waiting for 10 minutes, and I was trying to explain that the server never came back. She told me, with an attitude that they only had two servers, so Paul was the one in charge of the orders, implying that I was the one in the wrong, when I had been waiting and she came out immediately after Paul called her. After I explained that I still had been waiting, regardless of who was in charge, and the fact that I had to get someone's attention, just felt unprofessional. She kept interrupting me as I was trying to explain, and was downplaying, and never tried to apologize. I then said to her "All you have to do is apologize for the inconvenience, and offer assistance." She didn't apologize through the whole interaction, and instead chose to walk away, in silence. Paul ended up helping me. As she walked away, I told her I would be talking to corporate, and she said to me that I wasn't considered a customer, that I'm just a delivery person. I reminded her that while I'm not the one who bought this food, I am representing the customer. read more

Ok so I don't normally do this, I'm typically nice and patience but this service TESTED my patience and I never felt so disrespected, When I first arrived it looked busy only 2 waitresses on shift and I wasn't too upset when It took awhile to get drinks put in(even though it definitely got empty in like 10 minutes) the waitress comes asks for our order we knew what we wanted already(it took while) and we ended up getting our nacho appetizer with no queso sauce (ran out). Ok no problem, happened before ( I've been here a few times) but still haven't got our drinks and we finished the plate. She comes back after awhile and brings our dinks and this is where it gets bad, the strawberry lemonade I ordered was clear like water, and had a weird red speckle spilling inside, it looked like my drink was spiked or something. I tasted it anyways I don't like to be a bother, and it tasted like water with sugar. I told her I'm not too crazy about the drink, can I just get a normal lemonade? She said what's wrong with it, and I replied it taste water down, she replied oh yea I guess we ran out, I'll make you another one instead. Ok great she can get me a fresh strawberry lemonade.. no, she never came back after our sandwiches were served and eaten, instead of drinks, she was talking very loudly about another employee to another employee in plain sight, leaning on the wall like she had nothing to do. I would understand if maybe there was an issues with the lemonade and it was gonna take while, but she never offered to bring water so I wouldn't go thirsty my whole experience (it's free for god sake). At the end my boyfriend got very upset and we decided to just get our check and leave, she gave us very weak and unapologetic apologies, almost like she didn't really care, and then left me a to go cup with a cup of water( so I thought) instead it was the same lemonade flavoring that had ran out already, clear in the cup, How can you not notice that lemonade is not a clear substance, twice? I've been here a few times and I've been in busy days with amazing waitresses, sadly that was not that day nor waitress. I go to this Denny's often. It really depends on the server you get. For the most part the service is friendly, attentive and the food is good. The manager is friendly and often comes to see how the service was. But there have been a few times the server seemed to forget us, didn't refill drinks, served cold coffee, burnt chips, but that's not too often otherwise I wouldn't keep going. read more

I am a local and a patron of Dennys in Poinciana. I have been here multiple times and been served with broken glasses (chipped at the rim), dirty glassware with actual food stuck on the outside, menus had chunks of food on them, seems they never get wiped down. As for the food, I love the prime rib salad and they never have the avocados as it is advertised. Today I walked in and the waitresses were smoking cigarettes in the front door so I had to inhale all their second hand smoke just to get inside. The last time I was here I saw a Vietnam Veteran get mis treated by one of the waiters. I stepped in for small talk because I felt so bad for the elderly man. My husband and I have spoken to the manager multiple times and all they do is offer free desert. I have since returned and none of the issues we complained about ever got addressed. I spoke to the manager tonight and had to walk out because I told him this place is unsanitary and I could catch some.bacterial infection and he said it's because he has no dishwasher. It really disgusted me and I am calling the health department. Save yourselves and don't bother going to this below standard establishment. read more
