This is one of my favorite places to go to especially when it's in the early morning or just going out with friends. I've never had a bad experience with this location. Also the people here are extremely nice and polite. I'm always in a breakfast mood so I always go with the super slam and it's my personal favorite. Whenever I get my food it's never even close to cold so that's a bonus. Overall this location and place is just a good place to dine with friend or family. I had an exceptionally good experience at this Denny's. The service was very quick and friendly and my food came out just as I had ordered. The salad was delicious. The steak was tasty and the sautéed veggies were great and it came with dinner bread as well. Since I am staying at the local hotel I also had breakfast here this morning and it too was a great experience with hot and tasty French toast, eggs, hashbrowns & OJ. I was very disappointed with Denny's off hwy 190. We have all enjoyed going there but service and food have became very disappointing but today was the worst ever. First they took for ever to set us. We ask for straws and they told us the did not have any so my son went to Burger King to gets some for us then after some minute we so the waitress get another customer some without them asking for some but for us they did not have some. Then our food is cold and served at different time. When pay I nice told them about all of this and also informed them that they need to heat up the food to 165 and the they were not doing it. This Denny's is was awful, Once we got there the service was awful. Upon getting seated me and, my girlfriend waited for over twenty minuets for someone to take our order. Once we got our food the food was cold and dry. Through the whole time there the waiter never checked on us to see how we were doing or to ask if we needed more water. This location used to be my favorite but has gotten worse as time progresses. Today I spent more than 10 mins to be asked to write my name on a list. The hostess was not in the place the person should be. It was empty. There was a crowd of people waiting to be listed. Some waiting to be seated and those who were already seated, were getting upset because they sit you down but no one comes around to ask you if you want coffee or something to drink. You spend more than 10 mins to be put on the list , another 15 mins to get sitted and then another 15 to be taken into consideration by a waitress! Not to mention the time it takes for them to bring you the food. Just terrible service, waitresses have bad attitudes, make faces at each other and talk about their coworkers in front of the customer?? If the manager is the one who brings us what we need, why are there waitresses for?? Denny's should be embarrassed to have this location using the name Denny's! Someone from corporate should really pay a visit even if it's privately owned, They need help to get organized! read more

The customer service at this establishment is awful. To begin with, it took at least 15 minutes to get our drinks ordered. The restaurant wasn't even half way full. After another 20 minutes, we had to specifically ask to have our orders taken. We waited literally an hour to have our food brought out to us and the half full restaurant was already dwindling down to just a couple tables. To make matters worse, every single order was very cold and the waiting all but one of the waiting staff refused to address our calls to them as they passed by. Order the french toast slugger for a whopping $8 and you get french toast , coffee, orange juice, eggs and potatoes or chicken fried steak skillet which is yum! Your sweet hostesses are always greeting with a smile and all the waitresses and waiter are busy bringing coffee and cleaning ! The assistant managers are friendly and always helpful. The cooks obviously have a challenge getting our orders all correct but it arrives yum as always. If you are into the oldies music and quieter crowd this is your spot to relax and enjoy a good inexpensive breakfast. read more

A few months ago i decided to try the T bone steak. it looked liked the picture, tasted great and the veggies were crisp and delicious! So i decided to splurge again and have T bone. We expected service to be substandard but we wanted their signature hamburger. We had to wait 25 minutes for our meal after our order was taken and the place was only 25% full. Denny's is good for the fact that you get to expect a consistent menu. That is true here as well. However, I needed to catch up on some paperwork and make a few phone calls. I asked fora quiet area where I won't disturb anyone with my calls. The waitress passed an empty room and tried to put me directly across from a large family. I again asked for a different place and was put in the corner where I was somewhat alone. Just minutes after sitting down the same waitress put a family with four children directly across from me with loud birthday song and all. There where many other available tables in the building. While I was on the phone, I was disturbed twice. Then when I wasn't on the phone, and needed a refill I couldn't get anyone's attention. Finally she came and I asked for a warm up on my coffee. She said "wait, I can only take care of one person at a time." She helped two other customers then finally came with my coffee which she poured so quickly she spilled it. While I write this and need another refill, no one has returned to help me. Very poor service. read more

New Denny's with a clueless staff. You bring coupons in and they act like it is a new thing when I am sure I am not the only customer coming in with a coupon. Kids eat free is awesome and eating on your birthday for free is nice as well. This Denny's is always packed so I can understand the wait. If there are issue with this Denny's contacting the manager might smooth things out. However employee training might come in handy. I know as in any business making profit is always to be considered but educating your staff can pay off benefits. Also shutting off the lights on me and my family was rather odd. I wasn't on a date I was with my family and my mother in law. I need to know where she is at all times. read more

I've been there several times, but this last visit today was enough to make me sign up for this Yelp account and leave this review. We arrived after Church today with a group of 12. There was a larger area available in a back room, and we had to wait about 15 minutes for that. That was ok. The server was slow and quite indifferent...it didn't seem like she cared much about her job, to be honest. And she was covered with tattoos. My wife asked for regular fries with her sandwich but, it was brought out with the spicy fries she didn't want...and it took 10 minutes to rectify that, after the waitress FINALLY came back to check on us. Usually they try to get to you in case there is a problem, but today, no such luck. I had my rubbery chicken-fried steak finished along with the burnt eggs that it came with...I just picked out two bites of egg that WERE edible and left the rest...not as if the server coming to check on us would've corrected that, because the same cook was still in the kitchen so it would've been the same anyway. One member of our party actually waited an hour for her forgotten sandwich to arrive. This is not challenge stuff, folks, it's fried eggs, and a sandwich. You can't get that right, we will not be back ever. I would have told this to the manager at the register, but my father-in-law (our Pastor!) paid for everyone, so I didn't have a chance...just as well, I'd have embarrassed him with this complaint. I am extremely disappointed in the management. The poor girls have to run the credit card without letting the customer sign the itemized bill for a tip. Those girls work on gratuity this is been going on for almost two years. Someone needs to let them know and instruct them to bring them the itemized bill let the , approve it sign the gratuity and then run the bill. They're instructed to run the tab without the gratuity. It's one extra step but they need to get their tips. They have to pay for that on their taxes at the end of the year. They are getting shortchanged 95% every night. No one pays in cash anymore. It's all about structure and how they present the bill. I know and every other restaurant I have ever been in the customer has to sign the gratuity and then run the bill. Extremely disappointed in the management. Maybe a little training should be involved with every new employee. I tried to have them rerun the itemized bill with the gratuity. The register would not let them. So I gave them five bucks out of my pocket. I feel really bad for them. Came to this location for a late night bite to eat with my husband. Many servers were sitting around in one of the tables talking but our server, Megan, was quick to greet us at the door with menus. She let us sit anywhere we wanted since we had the whole restaurant to ourselves! Which was especially nice because she paid us a lot of attention, constantly checking on us to see if our food was good, if we needed anything else (refills, desserts, etc.) I've never had a waitress make an effort to connect with me before usually just bring me my food then my check! LOL! Felt very warm and welcomed! I thanked her and told her that I wanted to make a yelp just for this review and she was even kind enough to make sure that I knew her cooks name was Jose in case I wanted to mention the food which was also delicious!! I had the tilapia ranchero with creamy cheesey mashed potatoes and FRESH avocado! Perfect for my late night cravings, my husband got a sirloin and he usually has to send steak back because it's not cooked enough but he said every bite was perfect. Definitely will be returning, excited to try the breakfast next time around! The only reason I put the 4 stars instead of 5 was because of the other servers sitting around and because there did happen to be what appeared to be a stain of some sort of other food on the plate my garlic bread was on...it wasn't touching the bread or anything but disgusted me enough to not touch the bread...Everything else was perfect though! read more
