We went in to Denny's tonight because we were feeling like Tilapia Ranchero and the Foothill Denny's did not disappoint. Natalie was our server and she was very hospitable as she moved with urgency when the restaurant got busy and made us feel comfortable even though she was being pulled in different directions, thanks again Natalie. Really bad experience this morning. Our server was great but the food was not good. Very cold & took a while to get it. There were only 2 other tables & they both had their food when we walked in. When I told them my food was cold they offered to heat it up in the microwave..... Then the manager cashed us out and didnt even look up at us, didnt ask how are experience was or anything. Sitting at counter with granddaughter getting lunch, as the wait was a little longer than we wanted to wait. I was disgusted to see the counter below where the waiters retrieved their orders. It was strewn with pieces of food, and looked like it hadn't been wiped in a long time. One waiter, Carlos, went into the refrigerator for whipped cream and left it on the counter for the total time I was there. That was the same with jar of ranch, left on the counter. When I asked waiter who cleaned the counter they said someone was assigned to do it, the bus boy. It was never cleaned. Eat somewhere else. This is digusting. read more

Henry, our waiter was very helpful and did not hesitate when I requested no butter to be used on my food. I had oil used on my chicken breast with steamed squash, rice and small bowl of fruit instead of the garlic bread. I appreciated my requests being honored due to a dairy allergy and sensitivity to gluten. I enjoyed my lunch and Henry's zest for life. Never rely on their "online order" if you don't want to be on line waiting for your order. Not RELIABLE at all. And they give me extra cheesecake, but never put HAPPY BIRTHDAY which i put in my instructions. NOT RELIABLE. Food is food, and a lot of resto choices but you need to be distinct. Came here after to eat after a graduation and the manager Joe didn't seem very accommodating of us. Because the wait was kind of long we asked if we could do takeout. We walked over towards the kitchen because Joe told us to. One of the servers came over to us and told us to have a seat at a table because he didn't want us standing around then he would come back and take our order. Joe had the nerve to come over to our table and ask us why we were sitting down and told us to get up. Even though the service was pretty horrible, my friends still wanted to order. We ended up waiting outside and finally Quinton came out to tell us our order was ready. Him and the server from earlier, Parker were the only ones who were friendly and accommodating, so I give two stars for them. As a manger, Joe should really re evaluate his skills. My friends and I aren't frustrating customers who complain but we didn't deserve to be treated like that after we wanted to celebrate. read more

I've been coming to this Denny's for years and the service has gotten worse and worse last night was the last time I will ever visit. We went in for dinner not only did it take our waitress 20 minutes to get to us (even though there were only two other tables with customers in her section) but throughout the entire visit her the manager and other servers were all standing around our area talking loudly and fooling around. Don't get me wrong its okay to have a good time at work but when you're cursing talking about things like suicide drugs around children it's a little excessive not to mention they were completely ignoring the fact that we were sitting there. Our food was wrong and cold and so was my boyfriend's coffee. The waitress was clearly stoned and couldn't even comprehend a simple order. Another employee was eating food from 7 11 over the soup and salad bar completely unsanitary and just weird. My husband and I went to Denny's today...on Veteran's Day. We knew they offered some special for Veterans but were not sure exactly what it was. Even though he was wearing a Marines shirt, they did not offer him the special or tell us about one. They were super busy but service was good, friendly, and fast. When leaving, my husband asked about a Veterans special. The kid told him he had to order the Grand Slam and since he didnt....sorry, no discount. Fortunately, the manager walked up, thanked my husband for his service (noticing his shirt) and asked if he got his discount. I come here periodically if we are wanting breakfast in the afternoon or night. Sometimes eggs and pancakes hit the spot, and this place does it right for a good price. I have always gotten good service here: clean tables, prompt turn around for food, and follow up on beverages, etc. read more

The wait to get 3 pancakes was ridiculous! It took about 20 min to get them! And another 10 min to refill water! We ordered the all you can eat pancakes for $4 and the waitress asked if we would like any toppings on it. We said we can get anything on it? And she said yeah. So we all got chocolate chips in it. When we went to pay the bill they charged us each $1 for chocolate chips. We said that she didn't tell us that it was extra. So she got her manager (a women with black hair and long nails). She was very rude when we explained what happened and said "did you eat it!!!??!!!?!". She said that very loud and rude. And we said we wouldn't have if you would have told us that was extra. She keep asking us if we ate it. And was being a tool about it! She gave us so much sass and dirty looks. She clearly should have an office job where she doesn't have to interact with other people! I had the build your own grand slam and everything was very delicious, and the pancakes were just right, it wasn't burnt or anything the best part were the pancake puppies we had for an appetizer, I definitely recommend people to try those, they're so good!!!! Came here for breakfast on the way to Las Vegas. Everything was just average. Our waiter seemed hurried all the time and this is probably because more customers was on his station. I ordered the french toast with one slice bacon and a sausage and hash brown. The hash brown was overcooked and thus became crunchy and difficult to eat. My wife waited a while for her coffee refill. When we got our tab my wife left the tip at the table and she proceeded to pay with her credit card. My wife mentioned to me afterwards the cashier asked her why she didn't leave a tip on the bill and she told the cashier the tip was on the table. I know tipping is encouraged but not mandatory. I don't like establishments who demand tips for their services. Will not return here. read more

Me my cousin and sister came here at 11 pm and it was so good staff was so nice and so patient with us and so funny. The second time we came me my sister and aunt just 3 days later from the first time at 11pm they were nice it was fast it was okay service. The next night we came again at 11pm and I was standing in line to be seated and the hostess looked behind me and took the other two people in line to seat them when I was standing there for a while now I got over that. Been coming here for years and not going to come back. I specifically didn't appreciate the waiter Justin here I have been for 4 straight times in a row and each time he neglects to take my order always looking the other way everytime he sees me. I remember On New years Eve he sat me then left me for a couple of girls who were right in front of me and kept going back and forth to their table not even gesturing once to me. I had to have had been raising my hand for 10 minutes all the while he took other customers orders and ignored me.
