I really like Stonefire Grill, food is always very good, their restaurants are clean and always have lots of seating. Staff is nice and service is good as well. All great things, but I have this location 4 stars as I think they are victims of shrinkflation. I got the tri tip lunch with a salad and two bread sticks. The tri tip portion seemed very small, even for lunch standards, 9-10 very small slices, I can understand maybe the portion has gotten lighter, but even my salad, which typically would be full in the togo container with lots of toppings, this salad was half full and not many toppings at all. At least the two bread sticks held up, but do appear smaller than before, but really cannot remember. This won't stop me from visiting Stonefire, but it is something they should consider, if other customers feel this way it will lead to people slowly becoming unhappy and eventually will lose them, which would be a shame as Stonefire is great and they support Students with a 15% discount as well as Veterans with a whopping 50% discount, so they have excellent values for the community. I was disappointed to see that my previous review was removed, as it reflected my personal experience during my visit. Overall, the food was decent but nothing stood out enough to bring me back. The chicken was dry, the barbecue sauce had a strong vinegar-forward flavor, and the brisket was just okay. The cauliflower appetizer, however, was excellent and the highlight of the meal. Service was inconsistent. While food and alcoholic beverages were brought to our table, we were directed to retrieve our own drinks from across the restaurant, self service, casual vibe. First time here. It was interesting place. Order and pay at the front and then find a table. There were a lot of uncleaned tables, so it was hard finding a table to sit at. And there were areas that had reserved signs, so seats on Valentine's Day were limited. I was a bit upset, but as soon as the food came out I was in a better mood. I was hangry... On a busy day, the staff and the manager, Chris did not succumb to the busy restaurant, high energy atmosphere as they were opening to accommodate the ride-share drivers picking up online orders 10 minutes before they even open. The food itself was okay, nothing particularly memorable or standout for the price point. For what they offer, I do think the cost is on the higher side. The whole experience reminded me of a Golden Corral-style restaurant. I've never written a yelp review before and I actually used to really like this restaurant. The food's really good even though it's a little pricey but that's also what made me want to write this review even more because if you're expected to pay more, you shouldn't have to deal with incidents like this. Today I went in and after receiving my food, I got up to get some spoons for me and my friend and I saw that two of the spoons were crusty and dirty. We immediately let one of the servers know that there were dirty spoons in the pile and even though they helped take the two spoons away to be cleaned, I don't think I saw them check to see if the other spoons were clean, they just said that they must've not been washed as well as the others and that they were missed in the drying process. After that I didn't feel comfortable grabbing another spoon so I grabbed a fork but I no longer felt comfortable eating my food since there's no way of knowing what else could've been dirty in the kitchen. I will not be coming back but I hope this issue gets seriously addressed for future customers. read more

I held a party for 60 guests. I ordered a full tray of tri tip, 2 full trays of garlic lemon chicken, a full tray of Alfredo, rigatoni with meat sauce, Caesar salad, breadsticks, marinara pasta with shrimp in the side, beans, coleslaw, cornbread and grilled veggies. Everything was delicious! And we had plenty of left overs to go around as the portions were very generous. I want to highlight that Juliana delivered our order she took the time to set up everything, including putting the water in the warmer dishes and lighting the flame under. Everything was packaged so well and stayed warm throughout our event. For the dessert we had to get the carrot cake, she even offered to cut it for us before she left, since we were celebrating a birthday we cut it ourselves.
