Had the chance to eat here with some friends & the service was great! Our waitresses (I don't remember her name unfortunately) was very nice! She made jokes with us while she served our drinks & our food was out in a timely manner.. There was 6 of us in our party & she did an amazing job with us. We all had a mixture of breakfast & lunch. Came here the day of the Riverside 5k run. You would think that management would staff accordingly. I know we aren't the only people with a perceived good idea to go to Denny's after the run. Well as I'm writing this it took about 20 minutes to get our server to our table. Another 20 to get water followed by drinks. Still waiting on our food. We will see if they get the order right. We ordered some desserts but a lady came up to us and said that we cannot order such small amount as that will make them go out of business. We were dumbfound and didn't know what to say. Since when did they start putting a minimum amount for order? I would never recommend going to this place. Worst Denny's ever. Every time we come to this location the service is horrible. There's never anyone at the host desk to take your name. Instead of helping the manager just waits for the busy servers to run over and seat you when they have time. They almost always mess something up on the order or forget something. Today was the last straw though. First they brought us someone elses order, then I received my omelette without cheese (I specifically requested EXTRA cheese, there was none). To top it off when we received our bill we were charged for a coffee that should have been included with the $8 meal my husband ordered. When we asked the manager (big guy with the pony tail) to take the coffee off of our bill he refused and argued about it. After messing up our order multiple times he had the nerve to be rude and argue over a cup of coffee. Yet he told us the server would he written up for messing up the order...so unprofessional to tell a customer. He did eventually take it off the bill but needs some major training in customer service. We won't be back to this location, I'd rather drive an extra 4 miles even though I live down the street. read more

Absolutely awful managment. My car was towed within 5 minutes of parking at Dennys while I was AT Dennys. When talking to the manager about getting my car released, he was rude and not helpful. He's gotta be getting a cut of what they make off the towing there, but they're towing their own customers so it doesn't make sense. This Denny's gets the job done. While I didn't have a urinal mishap like Brandon, I've been here several times, after parties, with friends, or pretending to study. And I mean, it's just a Denny's, but at least it's clean and the service is alright. It does have that strange retro diner theme going for it, lots of purple, brush aluminum everywhere. I came here with a party of 7 around midnight and waited for almost an hour. The waiter kept saying "I'll be right there in 5 minutes" and then totally forgot about our table. We were NOT even given water! I went to ask this said waiter if he could at least give us water and he goes off on a mini-rant saying he has people to serve and that he doesn't have the time for us. This is the same waiter that kept telling us to wait five minutes by the way, so my whole table just left and went to Santanas. By far the worst customer service I've seen. read more

The cleanest, in best shape Denny's I've ever been to. The food is Denny's food like you'd expect, but it seemed the portions were larger here. They close from 1 to 4 am on Thursday through Saturday and have a cop stand guard because of gang problems in the past. read more

On 5/26/15 @10:24 am I was at Denny's with Jen. our server was Miss Vanessa T. she was very kind and polite, she knew her stuff, we didn't have to ask her anything ... "why?" because she could read our minds, the one thing she did that I thought was so very awesome ... jen wanted to try a new berry drink that was on the menu. So she requested a sample. She didn't frown,moan, "uhm let me ask my manager ..." she went and brought her a sample, we ended up ordering the drink. we both ordered the Invisible Woman Slam, it was AWESOME, and severed just the way it looked on the menu ... If I can give less than a 1 star I would've gave less than 1 star. The sad thing is is I've eaten at this place three times and every time I come in the service is completely terrible. We sat for 45 to an hour dining in, my water was not replaced or replenished once. In this time I only saw my server three times once to take our order, and the two times that I had to send him back with the meal that they brought incomplete and cold. My meal was missing 2 strips and a bread. My fries came out colder than titties in a brass bra. read more

The reason I'm giving this place 2 stars.. Is because the service sucks .. I went last week n I asked for a high chair ... They had me waiting for a high chair for like 10 min ...and the waiter was slow and took for ever to take our order...I went today.. We were seated right away.. But again I ask for a high chair .. And again in waiting for like 5min.. And then I notice that the chairs are like 2 tables away.. So I just go and grab one because if I don't I will be waiting again .. This Denny's serves delicious pancakes! When I crave for pancakes, I always go for the salted caramel and banana cream pancakes. Try them if you have not! The banana chips with sliced bananas works well with the cream and salted caramel. I sometimes get it with the extra meal since it's worth getting as well as getting a balance of my taste buds - if it's too sweet, you can switch off to the hashbrowns, eggs, and bacon/sausage. I give this place 4 stars because the table machines to pay doesn't really work well and when they do work, I can't receive a copy of my receipt. Other than that, I would come again for more pancakes :) read more

I posted a review once but I no longer see it not sure if it was removed but I no longer patronize nor eat at this particular Denny's restaurant even when living just a few blocks away because I was simply fed up with the employee turn over & lack of customer service skills by newly hired employees not to mention the long wait to receive your order on top of that this one Manager in particular has the worst customer service skills I've ever experienced as a Manager in the restaurant business seeing customer service should be his top priority he is extremely rude & nonchalant about addressing any concerns you have pertaining to customer satisfaction or food order concerns. He treats you like your an inconvenience and wants you to hurry up with your order and get out the way & if your not satisfied with your order he dismisses it like it's no big deal. So I will not be patronizing a restaurant where the Manager is not there to provide great service to paying customers and rudely ignores your complaints or concerns. I avoid going to this Denny's location just because of this particular Manager. read more
