Been going there for breakfast weekly since the food was quality and fresh. The chicken fried steak was cooked to perfection, and the flavor of it stood on it's own, plus the gravy was delicious and not salty. Some restaurants can't get this combo right! Denny's does! My over-easy eggs were cooked to perfection, as were the french fries. Even the vegetables were fresh, and cooked to perfection, and very flavorful. The coffee was first rate, not watered down. It's Denny's, what did you expect when coming here. Though service is slow sometimes and the wait can be long depending what time of the day you go. But it's a place that my family loves to go regardless. Brings back all the nostalgic feelings of always coming here on weekends with the family as a little kid. I recently just went to here after a long time of not coming to one and it was a pleasant experience. Wait wasn't too bad and the hostess was very quick to accommodate a big party as soon as we checked in. Our server was super friendly and food was just as expected from here. Nothing bad with the food of course just a typical breakfast. My usual go to are the Lumberjack Slam and Strawberry Milk Shake. I probably should've checked the Yelp reviews before making an UberEats order. I got the Turkey Dinner, and they gave me BBQ sauce instead of cranberry sauce, the turkey is EXTREMELY salty, and my boyfriend's English muffin was BURNT!!! I'd probably be able to forgive the saltiness of the turkey if I had my cranberry sauce! :( They also called to let me know my order wouldn't have any zucchini, but I assumed they might just replace it with something else but that didn't happen. That was my mistake I suppose, I should've asked... 2 stars because my boyfriend inhaled his Country Fried Chicken order. That's about it. Taking away one star because I just realized I was also supposed to get garlic bread with my order which I never got! What is going on with this Denny's??? I would normally give this location a great rating because most of the staff are really friendly and the food is comfort food. However, my most recent experience at this location left me extremely upset. I came really early in the morning after getting off of a 12 shift. I ordered quite a bit of food. My eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach that morning. What I didn't expect was a snide comment from an older waitress commenting on how much I ordered. The table next to me turned to look at me after they heard her comment. I felt embarrassed. If I'm a paying customer, why does it matter what I order? I've been going to this location for years. Although we're more around the Denny's on Tully, we come all the way here to the Berryessa location since the food is better and the service is faster. Have always had great memories eating here ever since high school. Seasoned fries always on point, and they constantly change up the pancake/dessert menu. I personally think that this location is better than many others in the area. Their servers are always on top of their orders and do their best to make sure that customers always have what they need before having to be asked or flagged down for help. The back of the house staff members work very quickly and do an excellent job in preparing orders correctly, as they are pictured on the menu. I understand that the food here is not the most difficult to prepare, but they still manage to pay attention to any special requests and customization; despite getting busy very fast. read more

3.5 Since there are dennys everywhere you're not really rating this spot by the food offered on the menu but the quality/service of the location. Service was kinda whatevers. Went in at 1230AM and no one was there to seat me. I stood around for 5 mins before just seating myself. Waited another 5 for someone to come over and take my order. Beyond that everything else went smoothly. Alright, so i hadnt been to a dennys in like 3 years cause the food is whatevers, but GOT DAMN this spicy chicken skillet was amazing. The sauce was so good i wish they had drenched the damn thing in it. The chicken was white meat but so juicy. Its super rare to get chicken that isnt dry. By the way im completely sober as i came from the gym and just wanted some protein. I dont know if all dennys do it this good or if it was just this one, but if it was just this one hats off to the cook.
