I told her I could not use the prepackage coffee creamer as they mess with my system. I asked for fresh cream or milk. She brought coffee, quickly pointed to one of the cups of coffee and muttered decaf and then left. I tried to ask her which was decaf vs regular but she was off running to the next customer. I waited patiently for cream or milk. In the meantime more customers arrived and another server. Finally I went to the front, asked for the cream, the waitress proceeds to hand me a bowl of the prepackaged kind. I asked for milk. By then my coffee was cold. Worst Denny's experience in 40 years. I'll admit I came in tired and hungry, but ... Wow. I ordered a grand slam with the "plant-based" whole grain pancakes, because I'm allergic to dairy. Then they came back and informed me that those pancakes were made with with buttermilk. Then, after I decided on something else, they came back again, said that the pancakes were SUPPOSED to be made with water, and that they'd make them properly for me. The manager also offered to comp my meal. I was NOT asking for free food, I just didn't want to be poisoned by an allergen. I won't bother to rant about how poorly cooked the food was, because they DID comp one of the meals. After breakfast I went to the bathroom, and it was FILTHY. Feces on the toilet seat, dark liquid on the walls, detritus on the floor ... Gross!! We had a few hours to spare before our flight back home and didn't feel like sitting around the airport forever, so we decided to stop by this Denny's near the Seattle Airport--and honestly, it ended up being the perfect choice. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, which made it a great place to unwind before getting back into travel mode. It was nice to just sit, chill, and enjoy some real food instead of rushing through airport snacks. We hadn't been to a Denny's in quite a long time, so we weren't sure what to expect, but it's still every bit as good as we remembered. We ordered a variety of breakfast items--classic diner staples--and everything came out hot, fresh, and exactly the way diner food should be. The coffee was surprisingly good too: hot, steady refills, and perfect for waking up before a flight. What really made the experience stand out was Jose, our waiter. He was genuinely awesome from start to finish. Polite, friendly, and incredibly attentive without being overbearing. He checked on us at just the right moments, made sure our coffee cups were never empty, and really made us feel taken care of. So it's the 4th of July. Me and my hubby decided we wanted to eat breakfast for dinner. I stayed in the vehicle, and my husband went in to Denny's to order our meals, and I might add I was waiting on a call from him so I could tell him my order. Ten minutes or so had passed and he hadn't called me, I just assumed that perhaps they might've been busy due to it being a holiday. But boy was I wrong. He came back to the vehicle moments later, upset and frustrated, there were two (Hispanic) women servers in the restaurant one of which was drinking water in the back in view sight and on her phone and the other server was literally ignoring my husband, made no eye contact, nor did she say someone will be with you momentarily. They both allowed him to stand at the counter and did not assist. Once he asked could he place an order and get some assistance, it fell on death ears. Nonetheless, he says out loud this is crazy I can't get any help while waiting patiently and as he was exiting one of the women yelled back to him and says, "bye you can leave now" it has been years since me and my family have eaten at a Denny's restaurant and I most definitely see why. She was kind and clearly trying her best but she was running around like crazy because the whole place was a mess. I've been coming to this Denny's for over 20 years and I've never experienced anything this bad. It was honestly embarrassing. The woman who I assume was the manager? Completely out of line. I won't say what I really want to but let's just say she was straight up toxic. She was in the back yelling at everyone, cooks, servers, like she was running a boot camp. Customers could hear it from the dining area. A few even got up and walked out because of all the chaos coming from the kitchen. It was that bad. I don't know how anyone can work under that kind of pressure, let alone stay calm. I finally had enough and asked what was taking so long. Her response? "You can wait or you can leave and just pay for your drinks." Are you kidding me? That's how you talk to guests who've been sitting patiently for over an hour? Then when my food finally showed up it was a joke. I ordered the Plate Lickin' Chicken Fried Chicken. What I got was three sad looking chicken tenders drenched in gravy with no dinner bread. No heads up, no apology, just dropped it on the table like I wouldn't notice. I was furious. They finally admitted they were out of chicken breast and asked if I wanted to order something else, which I did, and guess what? That took another 45 minutes. By the time my food came out everyone else at my table was finished. I had to take mine to go. And it wasn't just me. My friend 's T-bone steak was dry and burnt. The pancakes were rubbery and gross. I consider the Slamburger to be a guilty pleasure. I mean, egg can make even a crummy burger better. my l prefer my egg over-medium because I love a runny yolk (I'm not yolking). I also love this burger because it somehow makes less is more live peacefully with more is more. I mean, it's pretty bare-bones when it comes to condiments like mustard, ketchup etc. But egg on a burger (why, don't mind if I do) along with hash browns -- that's so this Pegster's jam. The bun is always a perfect brioche (at least I think that's the kind of bun it comes with, it's in my belly too fast to dwell). Burger was besties with the onion rings in my meal. No meal is complete without ketchup. My childhood favorite combo that goes with so many things. The service was awesome. It is a large Denny's with a moderately big parking lot. It is open 24 hrs which is great since it is right by the airport. We needed to grab food as kid had been stuck on a delayed flight and didn't get in until 2 am. They only had 2 people working the front and the waiter was super nice and friendly but man, the food was super super slow even though it wasn't even half full, so the kitchen may not have been fully staffed. They did a number of takeout orders at that time too. The table next to us stayed dirty the whole time because they were short staffed. Refills were quick and food came out hot. Nothing special, just Denny's typical food. AARP members can get 15% off. read more

I tried the berry blast and liked it quite a bit. Stopped here for breakfast after a long tiring flight which landed around 4am in Sea-Tac. They are open 24/7 and there were a few people already dining in when we walked in. Nice place with a great ambiance. We were welcomed by a nice lady, I believe here name was Portarette. She asked us to pick any tables. Came back with menus. We started with coupe of coffees and took our time to place the order. We ordered couple of loaded Vegetable omelette - one with egg white, french crepes and Jr Chocolate chip pancakes. She came back a few minutes later apologizing since they cannot make the omelette with egg whites. We changed our order to a stack of pancakes with hash browns. The food arrive very quickly. Liked everything we ordered. She was quite apologetic about the order even after we said it's all fine. When she brought the check, she didn't charge us for the pancakes and hash browns. April 30, 2024 I ordered my food online for pick up and I went to go pick it up my order at 6:51pm cus that's what it said online that it was ready. I went in just for them to tell me they gave my food away to a door dasher without verifying it. Why would you give my curbside order to a man on DoorDash thats not named lusi?!?! Why didn't they verify if SMFH she knew she was wrong too but didn't care to fix her mistake. Then they didn't want to remake my food or even refund me! They had a chance to fix it by just apologizing and remaking my order but instead gave me an attitude and told me to call the curbside number like it was my fault for their mistakes! What a waste of time! We were greeted and sat fairly quickly. We placed our order and didn't speak to our server again. After about 30 minutes, I had to go to get my own coffee refill from another server. After another 20 minutes, I found our server to ask a status on our food order. I've worked in a restaurant, so I understand short staff, backed up kitchen, and things do happen. But I do NOT understand not checking on your tables for over an hour. This server had 5 tables. The servers in sections around us were hustling. Refilling coffees, apologizing for delays. Ours was nowhere to be found. We never did get our food because we chose to leave after waiting more than 90 minutes, with no update or refills or anything. Worst experience in a very long time!!! read more

This location is .01 mile walk from my Skybridge Hotel. Dennys is the breakfast restaurant of choice. There are so many positive and negative reviews about all Denny's restaurant's. This particular location is super not only for their quality of the food at this location but I believe what makes or breaks a particular restaurant is the people that work there. I have been there 2 days in a row because my hotel doesn't offer free continental breakfast but does offer pay for breakfast and dinner. I don't eat enough to pay the price for meals at hotel so I discovered Denny's extremely close. Starting with Paola (Pay o la) at the front counter. She is very sweet and friendly. Today was my second day and when I came in on my wheelchair. She took me right to the table I sat at the day before. Sort of like it was my own space. That is special feeling. The waitress I had the first visit was Renée and today was Meylin.(May lin) Waiting tables is not an easy job and especially when you are responsible for several tables. What makes it more difficult is in a place like Denny's you're working with big families. It can be a challenge taking care of the large families along with someone like me by myself. Renée and Meylin are outstanding in maintaining service for the large families and me being by myself. They never missed a step. It's very easy to become busy with a large family table and forget a table that is just one person.They both made sure I was not forgotten. Thank you Renée and Meylin. If you go to this location, I suggest you ask Paola if Renée or Meylin are working, then request for them. If they are both working at same time then you can't go wrong picking one of the two. I had the opportunity to meet Chelly (Kelly) who is the manager. What I observed was how everyone worked so well together. Helping each other. Communicating with each other. There was an other young lady waiting on tables but did not see her name tag. Again she was taking care of her tables also. I was with family before heading to the airport. Visiting Denny's in the DMV area hadn't been great. This location was awesome. Our server was friendly and attentive. He didn't just glance at our table from across the room. He checked on us periodically for refills, napkins, etc. I was especially excited to be visiting while they were serving grits. All Denny's stop serving grits at 2pm. You'd think that a 24 hour restaurant would serve all menu items 24 hours. I'm not sure if there is a grit shortage or they go bad after 2pm. One thing is certain: not one employee at any location knows why they can't serve grits after 2pm. The grits were amazing! The potatoes and eggs were good. The staff didn't mind that we lingered while waiting to head to the airport. If you want to grab a bite before your flight or you just want grits, this is the place to come. I phoned in an order of the Choconana Pancakes Breakfast meal and the Bourbon Bacon Burger with fries. Everything was ready when we arrived, which was great...We tried to add on an Oreo milkshake at the register, as we saw one of the workers loading ice cream into the blender. However, the cashier claimed the blender was "heating up" on them, so we were not able to order one. Overall, I was a bit disappointed with my meal. I could taste bananas in the pancake batter, but there were no real cut bananas on top like the picture online advertised for the Choconana breakfast. Not sure if the restaurant ran out, got lazy, or if Denny's is false advertising, but there were no bananas garnishing the dish, just in the batter alone. Additionally, the eggs, bacon, and hash browns were greasy. My fiance seemed to enjoy his bourbon bacon burger meal, so I was happy about that. We were both thankful to just have a hot meal at almost 11pm and with such close proximity to the airport (literally right outside the airport borders). However, the overall quality and attention to detail in the meal prep (or lack thereof), doesn't have me wanting to rush back to this location.
