Service is really really really bad. They seat you and wait a long time to come to your table. In order to get a waiter, you need to basically raise your hand until someone sees you. Pretty unhappy with my experience at this restaurant. The service was slow and the staff seemed really unconcerned with serving their customers. Our server wouldn't substitute bacon for toast in my order, which is very strange to me because I have been to many Denny's in my time and they've always done substitutes. Our server also forgot water, and made ordering very difficult, and then the order was still incorrect. The food, however, was good despite the aggressive flies that wouldn't leave us alone. Lastly, despite there being 3 staff members at the counter, we waited almost 5 minutes to pay with no line in front of us because they were trying to fix an incorrect order that already went through... I'm only giving this place a 4-star rating because of their hospitality. I came here very often to get some work done late into the night, as I was a bit of an insomniac for a while. They let me camp out and work off of their internet (which I needed, as I couldn't afford my own at the time). The late night staff is a very kind bunch of people. The food is slightly-above par for other Denny's when the night-shift is working. I wouldn't recommend going here in the day, however. read more

This Denny's is by far the worst I have ever been to. The service is horrible, the place is dirty, and the food is barely edible. How can they possibly screw up on making breakfast?! Similar to a previous review, we saw our server twice. Once to take our order, and once to bring our check. They gave us potatoes instead of hash browns and completely forgot our order of pancakes. Not happy. Only stopped at Denny's for my 16 yr old son who was starving and couldn't make it another minute without eating. Got there just after 4 pm sat right down only two other customers. My older son wanted endless chicken noodle soup and salad my younger son wanted the kids spaghetti. We were told they were out of the soup and spaghetti. We changed our order and asked for water. The waiter brought us one glass of water (for the three of us to share), and brought my younger son and I our food (which was almost right). My sixteen yr old never got his food and did not want me to complain. After over an hour I sent the boys to the car and went to the register to ask for the check. When our waiter came I told him my son never got his food and he said "Yeah I noticed that." I told him I was very irritated and would be going to another restaurant to feed my son. They just take your order and don't come back. I had to get up and ask for Cholula. After that a couple behind us was waiting for a long time and got up and told them that they are leaving because they never went over to even take their drink order and were just socializing. Went to this particular Denny's with my family and we were highly disappointed. First of all, it took 20 minutes for a waitress to even ask what we wanted to drink, it took another 30 for them to bring out our meal. My niece and i found a total of 4 strings of hair in our food (two were in my butter that was served on top of my pancakes). Plus not once did our waitress ask if we need anything or any refills. I literally created a Yelp just to warn all of you fellow yelpers how horrible this place is. We walk in and are the only customers here. It takes at least 5 minutes to get our drink order taken and then we order our food finally. Only to receive burnt fries, I honestly thought I was eating potato chips they were so crunchy. I don't blame the waiters I blame the management who assigns one waiter to the whole store without taking into consideration a potential rush because shortly thereafter multiple people walk in. So we received half our order then the other half while he seated other tables. We had to ask the manager for the dressings that accompanied the salads after they had forgotten them, and in front of children that were with us her response was "shit that's right, they'll be right out." Ultimately from what I can see the few times I've been here, it is the worst and most unorganized Denny's restaurant I've ever been too, don't come here. Ever. read more

I do not recommend this place and would not comeback. I came here after a party with a group of friends at around 1am. We waited about five minutes to be seated and once we sat down the waitress asked us what we wanted to drink (she looked like she was angry at the world LMAO!) she asked how we were going to split the check and my friend politely said if we could split it after we know what we were going to get and she very rudely said no because it was going to be more difficult for her. We ordered and my friend and I ordered the chicken tenders plate.... she comes back with a plate of just chicken tenders... I ask if the plate comes with fries? And she gives me attitude and said you just said chicken tenders so I say okay can I get a side of fries (I FORGOT TO TELL HER I WANTED THEM SEASONED BUT ISNT SHE SUPPOSED TO ASK???) she comes back with the fries and my friend says can I get a side of seasoned fries and she leaves we start eating and realize that it's too much food and she doesn't stop once to ask if we need anything or how our food is, while she's walking by my friend AGAIN VERY POLITELY says "can you cancel the seasoned fries please" and this lady makes the rudest face and says "they're already out." This Denny's is really bad. I've been to different Denny's just like most of you, but this one is the worst of all. I've been here so many times since i live in Soledad and didn't want to travel to other ones but started to travel to other ones. every time I've been here either the service is really bad, or they don't have all the ingredients to order what i actually came for. I've asked for 3 different things in the menu and i am asked to order something else every time every time i am here for the past 4 times in a row. i don't know if they can't order the ingredients or of they just don't want to make my orders but from what i heard it's not just me. horrible service they make you wait for a while until the cooks tell the waiters that they cant or just don't want to make the order. In my experience if you want Denny's just go to another city to get your order done and done correctly because even if they do make it either they don't get the order right and or they make it really bad. also, since i the rating that i gave it it's because i can't give under 1 star. wish server venicia was still here or crystal they atleast made it interesting. read more
