I Haven't Been To A Denny's Since 1996 in Aurora Colorado off of Mississippi & I 225 Today I Tired the On Up In Thornton Colorado. I ordered A Slam Breakfast with an extra egg. Food was delicious. Other than the Fact when I went to Eat Discovered no Fork with my Rolled Up Silverware and the Fact they forgot my Extra Egg. At 1st when I sat down in one area that 5 tables were occupied it was Cold I could feel the Cold Air Coming Thru The Vents but eventually the Heat was tuned on. I ordered brisket melt and ice tea. My wife ordered fried fish and sprite. My wife was happy with her meal and mine was another story. The "brisket burnt ends" was very dry and chewy, jerky like. I would be embarrassed to even call that a brisket. My meal came with 7 fries. Waiter even noticed how little fries there was and ordered more for me. The ice tea was obviously very old and bitter. So cloudy couldn't even see thru it. Was terrible and I only took one sip. It was Gross. I tried to go to 2 other restaurants first but the wait was long, and parking lots full, this place had 3 cars in the lot and I really know why now. Was highly disappointed in today's Visit to Denny's on East 104th Ave. In Thornton Colorado. Our Server was the only good experience. We ordered Breakfast. My mother order a Sirloin breakfast. She asked for her steak to be rare it came almost completely well done. I ordered a Denver omelette. It was supposably a three egg omelette, but was barely larger than a Hot Pocket. The hash browns that came with both males were burnt on the outside and the potatoes on the inside were not cooked. And when we said something to him they brought us out a new order and the hash browns were then burnt to a crisp inside and out. Let alone the toast that came with meals were dry barely any better. I ordered a side of pancakes and the pancakes were undercooked. Would I recommend going to this Denny's absolutely not the server Andreas amazing kid the food a complete and utter let down not worth the 54 dollar price tag and I'll leave you with a picture of the poorly cooked hash browns as an example of one of the items that was received today. read more

This store is an embarrassment to the core of Denny's and the family and community and values. My family has twice now been repeatedly like trash. Me, my husband and 3 little children, one a toddler and one special needs. We've been treated with racist comments spoken in Spanish and Hindi- which I know because I speak both languages. We've had racial slurs said to us. That was prevalent on Halloween where my children were told by the server they couldn't order what they picked on the menu without explanation. And the last time, today, on Christmas, the manager threw my children's food and toys away when I had to take them to the restroom. We left toys as a clear indication that we were coming right back and not abandoning our meal. They threw my children's toys and food away on Xmas. I literally can't emphasize the devastation my family felt in that moment. We work full time to provide for our family and we go to Denny's, a family restaurant on Xmas and are literally treated like trash. The manager did nothing but laugh in my face when I asked where our food and my kids' toys were. And if you know about kids and dinosaur toys- you know you they're special. The manager laughed. This is unforgivable and I am contacting you, the better business bureau, and every local and state entity. This is an embarrassment to a business I used to trust and used to be a family friendly organization. Remember, this manager threw my children's food and toys away on Xmas. Without apology. The BEST The lines for this Denny's are always large. Why? Because the food is amazing and the waitstaff is topnotch. I am so impressed by the staff every time, because they manage to make the experience pleasurable. The restaurant is a bit on the small side, so it feels crowded and/or intimate. Went there and I was really disappointed. Haven't eaten there in years and sorry to say I will not return. They raised there prices . For the All American it was 15.00 for tough bacon, cold eggs, tough toast, sausage was not even hot all the way thru. Had to ask twice for extra butter and jelly. Waitress was okay. Manager never came around like in the past. for 2 Seniors the whole bill was over 45.00. What a rip. A couple that came in after us was offered a Special Menu and we got the regular one. This is my go to dinner spot for me and my family. Normally we have a delightful experience here every time we come and the service is great. Today was absolutely horrid. It started off normal for our table of 10. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was soothing.The server got our drink order swiftly and our drinks came out in a manageable time. Once our drinks arrived we were ready to place our order. Our server took our order repeated it back for accuracy and everything seemed to be going smoothly. Then it when down hill. 7/10 of our dishes made it to the table with two of them being incomplete and the other having the wrong bacon (regular instead of turkey bacon) while we waited for the others to come. About 15 minutes go by and my two youngest children's dishes finally arrive. During this whole time the waiter didn't ask once if anyone at the table needed a refill. Not sure if you are keeping count but only 9/10 dishes arrived to the table. I the mother of this family sat there as everyone ate waiting for my sandwich to come out. I watched 6 tables get their drinks and food before I finally got my sandwich. My kids were half way through eating before they got the missing parts of their meals. Once my meal managed to hit the table my family was already finished with dinner. I had to get a to-go box to pack my meal. I should add my meal was a sandwich which consisted of lettuce, bacon, avocado, turkey, ham, and a slice of swish cheese. This sandwich took over 30 minute to get to my table once everyone else already had their food. Leaving the restaurant was the cherry on top of this horrendous experience. Once I packed my food away I tried to get the waiters attention to ask for one more to-go box and refills on the kids drinks. I was told to hang on and he would be right with me. I sat back and waited as my husband loaded the already hyped kids in the car since they were already finished. After waiting a good 10 minutes watching him go to every table except mine he finally made it to me and stated "sorry about that I had to get them all finished first". I was furious but I know better than to let my temper get the best of me. This was a public place and I wasn't trying to ruin everyone else dinner like the team ruined mine. I was about in tears as I finished packing everything up. I stacked all our dishes and cleared everything to one end of the table as I was taught to growing up. I left a $20 tip as we had a pretty large table and I know sometimes people just have bad days. I really hope the next time I make it into this location the service is better and they look out for all of their customers. I called management once I got home and was able to settle down because I didn't want to make a scene in the restaurant or fall into full tears as an exhausted mother who was now lacking the energy of food to keep up with the family. The GM is suppose to give me a call when she gets in to make this all right and I really hope she does. No one should go out to a family dinner and have this horrible of an experience. read more

Manager service and customer service was terrible for place that just reopen my food took longer than an hour to come out.

Have always had good service here, even on busy Friday nights. A couple months ago we were eating there and a giant fight broke out in the big dining area. We were all done eating and were trying to pay as it happened. Chairs were thrown, tables were flipped, blood was shed. The manager told us to leave and go home. So we did. Didn't have a chance to pay, which I feel bad about but the fight just kept going, and going. The food we had was good though, waitress was nice too. read more
