I love this Denny's! Their blueberry pancakes are awesome! The cooks are fast, They make me think of a friend of mine who would tell me stories about being a "short order" cook at a Denny's, when he was young. His stories made me realize how hard the cooks at this Denny's work to get us all consistently good quality food. The servers pay attention and are fast to offer tea and coffee refills, and they check back more than once with extra napkins, etc. They are helpful when navigating the updated menus and make suggestions about portion sizes for kids and elders. I enjoy going to this location with my family at any time of the day or night. It's always clean and not too cold or too hot. Temperature matters more than you might think. A lot of restaurants get so cold in the summer that I have to bring a sweater with me in order to stay comfortable while eating. I hope this place stays in business for a LONG time! read more

It's been a while since I've been to Denny's and this was our first time at this location. The location is very clean and doesn't feel crowded. Our server was Michael N according to the receipt, and he was friendly and prompt and efficient. There was another server walking around, Jordyn (I saw her name tag) and she seemed very friendly as well. Coffee was good. The kitchen was quick. I had T-bone steak and eggs and everything was cooked just the way I expected. I really liked the seasoning on the t-bone steak. It was a very good experience across the board. We went here on a Friday evening to have burgers and fries. Easy seating but it cold in the restaurant. It appeared as if there was only 2 servers working that night, but despite that, our server did well to take our order and serve our table. At checkout, there were malfunctioning issues with the cash registers which did not allow our discount but we were promised free meal next time we come back. I keep going back since I like Dennys in general. Just not this specific location. Waiter was at the table promptly to take our drink orders. We only wanted water. Waited 20 minutes to actually bring it to the table. Not a big deal until you understand it was 107 outside. I should have brought my water in from the car. Every time I go to this particular dennys the service is horrible. Food is ok, although pancakes were reheated today from earlier in the day. read more

Decided to be nostalgic and check out the Denny's near me for a quick breakfast. Waitress was awesome! She was friendly and kept us posted on updates with our food since we came on a busy Sunday. She kept coming back to refill the coffee too. Food is what you'd expect from Denny's. I got the Santa Fe skillet. Flavor was good, but it was decently greasy from the chorizo. I'd go back and try something without chorizo next time to see if it's less greasy. But the flavor of the chorizo was great! read more

If I could give it a 0, I would. How do you mess up on nachos? nachos didn't have really anything on them. The chips and sausage were stale pancakes that didn't look cooked all the way. I ordered a to go order on the app. When I was checking out I didn't put a tip in but when I got my receipt it charged me 18%. When my mom went to pick up the food she just wanted to let the employees know about the issue with the app. The hostess was very rude and defensive about it. We now know not to use the app when ordering. We will just go inside and order if they are automatically charging a tip and inside you will get the full portions of your food. I would like I to apologize to the employee that had to come ask us to move away from the window as my partner choked and I had 911 ready to call and preparing to do the heimlich. We got seated immediately which was nice, and the restaurant wasn't that busy. There were many workers wandering about, and even after sitting there for around 15 minutes, we still weren't given waters or an option to order. This'll be my last visit to the location on Houghton in Tucson. Place was deserted, took a long time to get seated. Food was terrible, and expensive- over $50 for two entrees and a shake, after tip. Our waitress took our order well enough, and then vanished like a fart in the wind, never to be seen again- some guy dropped our food at the table, never saw him before that point, and never after that. No one refilled our drinks, or asked how everything was. My slamwich was sad, eggs were runny in it. Hash browns were undercooked, still tasted raw. My wife's chicken strips were absolutely the saltiest thing on the planet, and her shake arrived room temp. I see a lot of positive reviews on here- my last 3-4 times rolling through have not been good. read more

Ridiculous. Went to the Rita Ranch Dennys. My wife received a birthday meal. Upon entering the restaurant I noticed a "value menu sign". I requested a value menu and the waiter said we are only using the holiday menu. (2 days after Thanksgiving). I then decided to leave and from across the restaurant he stated loudly. we just ate there and ordered chicken fried steak with a side order white gravy sourdough and the eggs were supposed to be over. Medium eggs were runny white slimy stuff the side order white gravy still had dry powder in it the bananas on my wife's fruit bowl were black Apparently the store manager was cooking because the normal cook called in therefore being a manager he should've known better. Denny's on Oracle and River: Food was ok. Server was nice but seemed flustered. Oddly there were only 6 customers in the restaurant at the time. Server left no ticket, so when I went to pay, they had to go find the server to ask what we had. I didn't look at the receipt before I left. When I got home, I saw that we were charged for more expensive items than we had. I tried calling the restaurant, but nobody answered. I called corporate. Nine days later, the regional manager called and was great. He made me feel valued. He said the GM of that Denny's would call me the next day and make up for the issue. Instead I get a call from a floating manager that made me feel insignificant and overruled the regional managers offer. read more

This was the perfect place to meet up on a big football championship Sunday to plan a party. It was quiet, no waiting, and clean. We were there for 3 hours just snacking on our appetizers and talking and our waitress was great at making sure we were still ok throughout. The onion rings, I thought there'd be more than 5 served haha! The fries were delicious, perfects seasoned with just the right amount of salt and pepper, and the nachos were good too. We asked for avocado as an add-on for the nachos but it was still too green, couldn't eat it and when we told the waitress, she brought us a whole new side of fresh avocado that was perfect. read more
