Like many restaurants these days, they ask for a tip even on pickup and to go orders. Personally, I prefer tipping for seated service, but that's become pretty common. The reason I mention it is that almost every pickup order I've had has had something missing, incorrect, or prepared differently than ordered. The food itself is consistently great, but the accuracy of the orders has been consistently disappointing. Unfortunately, you usually don't discover the mistake until you get home. My advice: if you're picking up your order, take a minute to check everything before you leave. It'll save you an extra trip and a lot of frustration.

However, we quickly got confused about the vibes, as the following song played was K.C. & Jojo - All My Life. The genre changed with each song, keeping the guest on their toes on what song would be played next. Overall, this Jerry Bob is still a great spot for breakfast. I'll revisit at a later time to try the cinnamon roll again, perhaps arriving earlier in the morning. Just be prepared for a diverse music playlist.

We have been frequent and normally satisfied customers of Little Anthony's for 25+ years. Up until…read morerecently there has never been an issue that warranted us asking to speak with a manager. Now there have been two pretty complete failures in only a couple of months. The first one involved getting getting food cold and waiting until over halfway through the meal for at shake to show up and it wasn't even blended completely. There were large chunks of unblended ice cream in it. Now for tonight. We got there and they were fairly busy. They got us seated in a reasonable amount of time. We were at our table long enough to figure out what we wanted before the server came to ask us for our drinks so we ordered everything together. Queue a 30-minute wait. We got one refill and a promise it was going to 'be up in a couple of minutes'. We waited another 10 before deciding to leave. The order FINALLY came up as we were getting to the counter to play for the drinks (which they didn't offer to comp), so they asked us if we wanted it bagged up to take home. We said yes they bagged it up, charged us full price, and when we got home the role for the salad had been crushed. The chicken on the salad was cold. The onions rings with the tuna melt were old and gummy. If this is the service and quality of food we can expect from Little Anthony's now, we won't be coming back. It is very sad to see such a great place lose their touch.

9:15pm.....Stopped for dinner with my wife apparently at a very stressful time at the restaurant... (had some problems with cook and they sent him home). Our waitress (Rebecca) brought us our drinks and took our order....Although she was cordial, I could tell she was stressed and she informed me of the cook situation. She said she would get the food out as quick as she could under the circumstances and let me tell you, she did just that! Fastest I have ever received my food... She told me that she did not want us to wait forever because of their cook situation and she went back and cooked the meal HERSELF... AND, brought it out to us in record time. I for one thought that it was going to be mediocre attempt at cooking the meal but let me tell you, it was cooked perfectly! She obviously knew the menu and had some training in what she was doing because she did not disappoint... All I can say is, if you are lucky enough to encounter this waitress, you will not be disappointed. She is one outstanding employee and individual. Kudos to you Rebecca! read more

Stopped in for a late dinner and not only was the food great (fresh/hot) but the service was EXCELLENT! As soon as we entered the door, we were greeted with a smile and the option to chose a table of our liking. And then we got Sandy as our server. Talk about setting the bar high around service! Sandy was not only welcoming, but super sweet and more than personable. She afforded us much patience as we couldn't decide what to order, and every time she came to the table to check on us (a handful of time to check on our drinks, ensure we were happy with our food, or if we needed anything else) she did so with a smile. This review is not so much about the food or prices as it is to recognize how special the people are at the Houghton location. My wife Casey passed away last year due to complications of dementia. I am heartbroken but some of the best moments we shared were having breakfast at Denny's several times a week. Michael and Kacey became much more to us than "servers". They always saw us making our way in from the parking lot and were quick to seat us and share friendly conversation. Both showed me so much compassion when I let them know my wife if 52 years had passed. This Denny's is awesome! It's so cute, with a spankin' new, yet slightly retro feel. I love the new menu choices, illustrated with big, brightly shot photos. Their Build-Your-Own-Slam option: pick any 4 options for about $10 - what a deal & super satisfying for even big, picky appetites. Their ham slabs are smokey, meaty deliciousness that highlight their Eggs Benneys or any other egg dish. My guy gets 2 servings of hash browns - always hot & crispy, with country gravy, a couple of eggs and the ham, of course. We came back again, my sister and I to get our usual: grand slam something and a breakfast burger. The service here was nice and quick today and my smoothie was blended very....smoothly (which says a lot, trust me). The food was perfectly cooked 10 stars on that never had everything cooked with perfection. The waitress Kacey was well can't be anything better. Does her job perfectly especially under a lot of customers pressure handles it all the right way with a wonderful smile on her face and the atmosphere was only as good as the food and service so it was awesome morning I was there alone eating some good stuffed French toast with strawberry and cream cheese filling, eggs and hash browns. The restaurant is conveniently located to Houghton and I10. It's very clean and comfortable, but what really made it a great dining experience was your server, Kacey! She was so pleasant even before we reached our table. She always showed us a smile as she efficiently took great care of us. She helped us make our order to best meet our needs. We went here for lunch in August 8th, and had pancakes with an omelette. Our food was delicious, flavorful, and hot. The reason I'm writing this review is to offer praise to our server Kacey. Wow, what an incredible experience at this Denny's! The food was absolutely amazing, you can tell it's made with care and quality. Our server, Nicole, was an absolute delight! We were asked for drinks orders, I asked for a coffee and water, my partner also ordered coffee and water, the rest of them ordered waters. After disbursing they then took our food order. Breakfast burrito for me, eggs Benedict for my partner, my kid had Valencia French toast, my other kid had the breakfast croissant sandwich, my in law had half order of biscuits and gravy with egg. The food came out, my in law went to cut into their biscuit and it was rock hard. My breakfast burrito was lacking flavor. The eggs Benedict was not homemade hollandaise sauce. The Valencia French toast was good but not very tangy or orange flavored unlike the description. The egg croissant was okay but the eggs looked like they were rubber. When I checked out, I asked for a blueberry muffin, bear claw, a blueberry danish and raspberry turnover. I assume it was the owner ringing me out because they seemed to act the owner but when they went to put the items in the bag, they had to excuse themselves to blow their nose. I am watching this all happen, but instead of washing his hands first, he reaches into the case with a parchment sheet hand no gloves to grab my blueberry muffin. Now why didn't I say no thank you after that, I didn't want to be rude. Maybe I should have, but either way I'm thinking that will be the last time I go here. Food was less than mid, the service was not stellar, I would try somewhere else if you're looking for good food. But if you're okay with what I listed above, go for it!!
