Back in April of 2019, while standing behind my car loading the trunk after a quick shopping run, another car pulled in next to mine and parked. The passenger door swung wide open and smacked into my driver's side door, leaving a long vertical scratch, along with a fairly obvious dent or ding. Since I was right there and saw it happen, (and the culprit was a young child who didn't know any better apparently), the driver offered me their insurance info and it ended up being covered for repair.. but anyway after a lot of research, I chose Dent Kings for the repair, for being somewhat close to home, very responsive to my inquiries, having great availability, a really nice shop and friendly, helpful, and communicative employees. Left no questions unanswered. There was another perfectly round ding in the left rear quarter panel of my car as well, been there since I bought it and since I was getting work done, asked for that to be repaired as well. (Do not have a photo of that ding). Dent Kings said it was tricky to reach it but they fixed it perfectly as well, without any paint repair needed and it looked as if it was never there at all, when I picked up the car. I normally go to my go-to guy for all of my body work. However, this time the cost to repair a fender crease from a side swipe on I-270 was just a bit too much, as we are looking to trade this 2007 Volvo S-60 after 14 years. Thus we didn't want to spend a lot. Since I was a loyal customer for over 25 years, they helped me out by referring me to DentKings; specifically the owner: Cyress Javid. Cyress took the time to thoroughly explain exactly what would be done for the price range we were looking to spend on a repair. It wouldn't be "perfect", but it would look a LOT better than the nasty crease on the right fender. Lo and behold in less than one day! Our family members and neighbors said that it looks practically brand-new! Unless you walk up and literally put your eye to the fender, you couldn't tell from a distance that this car was in an accident. The giveaway is the scratches on the headlight, which we told Cyress to ignore. There were also some deeper scratches on the door, but with some touchup paint from the dealer, he made it look great! And it shows because he does not push you do something you don't want to do, he explains every step of the way, explains the process of what strategy to use with minimal "parting" of a car. I'm updating my previous review. I got an estimate for some PDR work that I thought was high, $450 for a single dent. I was contacted about that review by the person who gave me the estimate and spent quite a while on the phone as he tried to convince me that my review wasn't fair. I asked if my repair was going to take four hours and was told yes. I've used PDR before and that seemed a stretch. He assured me that if I found anyone who would do it for less it would be a poor job. That's the main reason I'm updating this review. I had already gotten an estimate to do my entire quarter panel and detail my black roof for $300. That wasn't possible according to this guy. I checked other shops, got estimates between $450 - $650 but each had flexibility when I declined and most asked if I'd do it if they matched the best price I got. I don't reward companies who try to gouge me but then give me a more realistic price so my answer is typically no. I took my car to another company that was highly rated (5 stars) on Yelp and got everything done in around three hours... the dent and other dings on the quarter panel addressed, my roof detailed, the car's exterior and interior cleaned and best of all, their first offer was $300. BTW I was told by Dent Kings that the dent in the photos would normally be $850 so the offer of doing the one dent for $450 was a very good deal. The best for getting it done correctly. Shop around. I recently had paint-less dent repair (PDR) work done on my car. I'm very happy with the professional results and the excellent customer service provided by Cyress and Dent Kings! To start, my vehicle is an economy daily driver with a mild dent; but it was on a very noticeable body line. I wanted to do the repair work but also had a limited budget. I was impressed with Cyress's experience, attention to detail, straight-forwardness and understanding. He took the time to inspect the damage and showed me exactly what could be done. Most important, he presented the various repair options I could go with and recommended cost effective options which was exactly what I wanted. He understood that not everyone needs a 100% "back to original show-room" result (which he could do but would be more time consuming and less cost effective). The 80-90% repair option that I ended up going with produced great results that I was very happy with. From a normal distance, the dent looks completely repaired. I've got serviced at this place before, great craftsmanship! This was in 2018. Now my car had similar problems I texted inquiries with pictures like I was told, mind you the possible dent was not visible through pictures just like the previous one however this time I got no replies even after an entire week. I was quite disappointed. I'm disappointed not because I was refused of service but also unable to solve the eyesore bothering me all this time. I had a palm of hand size dent on my front quarter panel. There are also some white scratches on it. The price I got from other dent repair shops are all around $500, while dent kings gave me $350 quote, and they did a good job! Dent is repaired, scratches are gone, it's just like new. When they used the term "paint-less dent removal", I was afraid that they would not handle the color matching and just leave the white scratches there. But it turned out that they are able to remove the scratches and put some transparent coat on it. read more

I contacted Dent Kings regarding a scratch in my 2019 Mazda CX-5. I spoke with Cyress and although they didn't do the exact work I needed (it was a deep scratch and needed painting), he said that I could come to his shop and that he would attempt to repair it using the touch-up paint I got from the dealer. He told me ahead of time that it wouldn't be perfect, but that he could probably get it around 70% better. When I came to the shop, he came right out to see me and did an outstanding job touching up my scratch. When I asked him what I owe, he said "just a thank you". I thanked him there but wish to do it here as well. THANK YOU CYRESS!. For a man as busy as he is to go out of his way to help a stranger is beyond amazing. He was as nice as could be.
