Dr. Felipe was very friendly and took great care of my cavities, everything was handled smoothly and professionally. On top of that, the prices are really affordable, which is a huge plus. Everyone talks and ask questions so they can get your needs covered even while I was getting a root canal or three the two DENTISTS and maybe a helper were consulting. No egos here just good dental work there is no rushing so you may have to wait a little bit, but they have two vibrating chairs and plenty of things to do very clean I LIKE THE FACT THAT THERE ARE ONE STOP SHOPPING FOR MOST OF YOUR DENTAL NEEDS LAST TIME. Had to wait 2 hours for service not just once but twice, was never applied a numbing agent when I went, only a paste so I felt everything. I changed dentist and they were concerned that they never told me I had an infection on the back end of my tooth as well as had a cavity that needed to be attend asap I am glad I changed to south coast smile dentistry and got that take care of with no wait time the professionalism and conduct of the dentist is night and day. My 12 year old daughter got her braces at Western Dental and needed to remove 2 baby teeth. Our insurance has limited doctors in our network, hence why other dental offices seemed hesitant to give us a quote. Well, I decided to try Dental4 again, and yes, it was great. Dr. Jorge Vital gave me an excellent quote and removed them right there and then. My daughter was pain free and good. Previously, Dental 4 was the primary dentist for my children, my mother, and me. I work in retail and my health Insurance doesn't cover much so I went to other places before dental 4 and I was overwhelmed with the prices they were asking me for a root canal and crown. So I went to Dental 4 in Santa Ana and after waiting like 30 minutes they happily took me in and fix my teeth and gave me a great deal that I could afford and do payments as well. NEVER AGAIN IN THIS LIFE TIME. From the beginning till the end. It was a wed. Afternoon my appointment was at 3:00pm however, i decided too go arrived 2:45pm. The office building was upstairs in the bottom a jewelry store it's downtown santa ana at day time it's fine nothing out of the norm. As i arrived i was given paper work to fill out like any other medical place (Front lady's very professional an informative)...But. As I was waiting to be called in. people kept coming and kept been pulled into the back now it was (3:00pm) I told my self let me ask the young lady's too see what's going on i was told i would be next due to them been busy today (Oldest line in the book-but okay ill take it) 3:45pm i was finally seen, was brought to the back with a X-Ray tech. (Or some random guy who just decided to tell me stand here and smile)..why because that was basically all they did..here is my issue. When i was finally pulled in the back i was made to wait another hour, For two "Dental Provider's" to come and see me one of them told me i have a tooth canal, and needed a crown as well, (i already knew i did) however this is what annoyed me the most. They wanted me to get it done then and there as if it was a simple check up. At first i thought they where making a joke, but as it keep going no they where serious they wanted me to get it done today for the low price of $570.00. The providers kept pushing at me saying "oh it's going to get worst let's do it now" another "dental provider" said "What you don't have money"...hmm yea not in this life time am i ever coming back, i called my insurance and changed dental providers already and i filed a Grievance for the lack of care for patient's, and breaking HIPPA laws more then once. My file was in the open on which anyone could of gotten it. I also went to extra mile on getting the BBB involved into this, why? Because the providers are pieces of sh*t that are taking advantage of people who don't have insurance and have to deal with there Bullsh*t...shame on you. Do not go here. Firstly my daughter went in after they told her they could do an extraction and they weren't able to. They did give her two referrals but when we tried to call them back to get copies of the x-rays they never answered the phone so after two days we gave up and had to pay out of pocket for more x-rays somewhere else. Horrible, crappy, bad dental work. They are not sanitary, and the assistants are the ones doing dental work than only Endodontist should do, that is why it's cheaper, but not worth it. I did a root canal here and it was $150 less than going to my regular dentist, besides they let me pay in installments so at that time it seem wonderful. But 2 months later I started having pain again in the same tooth they had fixed. I went to a different Dentis and he showed me how bad of a job I had. I also had so bad of an infection it spread to my jaw bone and I end up loosing the tooth. I end up paying $1000 dollars more just to fix what "Dental 4" did wrong. Do not go here. I came here for cosmetic work a few years ago. BIG mistake. They allowed an assistant to do injections. One of the dentists claimed the assistant who did the injection in an EF (extended functions). No assistant is allowed to do an injection whether it is EF or EF2. That is against the law! They also grinded down perfectly healthy teeth on my lower when the work being done was on my upper teeth during the temporary preps. The dentist even did a root canal without consulting me! At the time I did not realize he was doing that! Fast forward to today, I had to get the crowns that were done reprepped twice for newer crowns! I also ended up losing the root canal tooth to an implant because of poor root canal tooth. The gutta percha they placed in the tooth wasn't even the right size. The dentist at the time stated I had bone loss and blamed my anatomy for the bad work. He only refunded me for two out of the 5 teeth that were prepped! These guys are crooks and not to mention highly unsanitary. They did the work in closet sized room, the Water syringe tubing had a hole so it kept shooting water all over my neck for the 3 hours I was in the chair! Blood stains on the tubing!!! I did go to a lawyer but because it has been over 24 months I cannot press any charges. I have waited awhile to write this but I also feel I should not just let this go. Maybe they have changed a lot since then but really consider this place as this was my experience with them. read more

Being 60 years old, I've had a lifetime of experience with dental clinics. In the Dental4 clinic I found efficient and well-managed front office staff, in addition to well-skilled dental professionals. The quality of their work I found to be superb. Kudos to Dr. Jorge Vital, D.D.S. for a zirconia crown that (a) fit as it should, & (b) had great color matching to adjacent teeth. On top of that, the fees for services rendered were competitive. This allowed me to have additional, proactive work done so to ward off more extensive dental procedures later on . Another advantage is their modern equipment. Such as the use of digital x-rays. Digital x-rays use about 90% less radiation than standard x-ray technology, which is a great advantage. Plus, the results are viewable quickly, and remotely via the dentist's laptop computer. Needless to say, I will return to Dr. Vital and Dental4 in the future. read more

I have been there 3 times,never again.Very unsanitary.On the third visit I had a deep cleaning which lasted 10 minutes.Yeah 10 minutes.They billed my insurance 349.00,again yeah!And when they were doing the cleaning they kept touching other objects & not changing there gloves.Also very ruff with no consideration for my myself.only thing I have to say is when I confronted them about the service they told the truth about how they come up short sometimes about there service and ended up writing me a check for them billing my insurance.So it's up to you to go there.Just be aware of what you are getting yourself into. read more
