I saw Dr. Manov in 2015 and chose this office based on positive reviews and its proximity to my job. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. I had two root canals performed. Years later, after consulting with multiple other dentists, I was advised that these root canals may not have been necessary. Additionally, I was told by three separate dentists that one of the treated teeth showed signs of infection at the time of the original procedure and has since failed due to equipment being left at the time of the root canal (I was not told this), requiring the root canal to be redone entirely at my own expense. Having to repeat an invasive and costly procedure has been extremely frustrating. Based on my experience and subsequent professional opinions, I would encourage others to seek second opinions before proceeding with major dental work. I would never trust him with my teeth again. read more

I will start off saying I am very picky about doctors. I had previously visited another practice in the area that was highly recommended and promoted through a Facebook group, but it ended up being a waste of time and money grab: 3 separate visits needed for exam, X-rays and cleaning: who has time for that?? I had previously heard amazing things about Dr. Minov and he and the staff were amazing: no nonsense, down to the point care and no upselling. I'm so glad I decided to get a second opinion and wish I would have found his practice sooner. read more

Had a cleaning a few weeks ago, and Laura, the hygienist, found a small cavity. Ugh...can't remember the last time I had a cavity...maybe I should lay off the candy. lol Went to see Dr. Ellie for treatment, and once again, I love this lady. She is amazing. She makes you feel at ease, and explains what she is doing while you're in the chair. The whole procedure took 22 minutes...yep, 22 minutes!!! Afterward, at the front desk, Dr. Ellie showed me pictures of her beautiful daughters (who look just like her), and shared stories, which I loved to hear. Dr. Ellie, Laura, and Cynthia are wonderful ladies...they make going to the dentist enjoyable. That's right, I said enjoyable. 5 Stars for Dr. Ellie and her staff. I needed an Emergency appointment to have a back tooth extracted. They were great and able to get me in the same day. I forget the Dr's name but everyone I had dealings with (about 5-6 people) were awesome. Very informative, sweet. Everything was explained in detail before it was done including payment I would owe. The Dr told me the tooth in front of the one he just pulled will be next. Well 1 week later it was. Just fell out of my face lol. So, going back Monday to have the rest of that tooth extracted. I'm running out and of teeth. Happy to be going back to them. read more

They just want to take your money, no consultation, pretend they are busy, and just quickly show you the price. After so many years of trusting him, I can't anymore. Dr. Manov removed my wisdom tooth with local numbing and I didn't even need to use the pain medication I was prescribed or ibuprofen as pain and discomfort were extremely minimal. He is fast and does such an excellent job that the wound started healing so well right away. The staff is extremely professional and it is by far the best run clinic. I live a bit far but will make the drive anytime. If you have anxiety about going to the dentist, this is the place to go. read more

I used to visit Dr. Manov at his Surprise location, and for a brief time considered seeing another dentist located in Surprise when that office closed. What a mistake! Just like any other dentist I had gone to in the past before Dr. Manov, they wanted to upsell me on everything. I had chipped my filling and was so busy taking my parents to their ongoing appointments I put it off, and this new dentist said he needed to send me to an expensive surgeon to remove the tooth and then get a bridge placed. He also wanted me to remove perfectly fine top wisdom teeth that would make my mouth feel uneven, just to avoid any future issues. I decided to try Dr. Manov, as I did not feel comfortable with the way this was going compared to my experiences with him. He was wonderful, as was his staff. They all immediately thought they could still save the tooth and instead gave me a root canal and a crown. He also remembered me, not from reading notes or anything, but from true memories of when I first started seeing him. He is caring and funny and I won't make the mistake of trying to see another dentist again, even if the drive is a little longer. It saves me a lot of money and peace of mind to go to a doctor and team who care and are not there to find any upsell they can possibly think of. Dr. Manov could have sent me to an expensive surgeon rather than do the root canal right there, but he is much more capable than your typical dentist. Thank you Dr. Manov! read more

Dr. Ellie is amazing! She was able to fill an unsightly cavity in one of my front teeth that looked like a piece of pepper in under 15 minutes with no pain at all, and I am a HUGE baby when it comes to dental work. The filling matches my teeth perfectly. Highly recommend! read more

So after driving an hour an half to my original dentist and taking my xrays from Dr Manov, my dentist confirmed that my son didnt have a cavity like Manov said he did. I am so upset that there are dentist like this that take advantage of situations just to make money. I still would not recommend this dentist to anyone whatsoever!! read more

I have been a patient of Dr Manov for over 15 years and today I was completely disappointed in the lack of professionalism I experienced in this office. Months ago I made my cleaning appointment with Laura SPECIFICALLY to see her as she understand my extreme dental phobia and is very gently and does not hurt me as others have in the past. I showed up 1/2 hour early for my appointment (I had to take time off work). and sat there for 30 minutes without being told Laura wouldnt be there. Some other girl came out and introduced herself as my hydeinist. I asked where Laura was and the girl at the front desk said " last minute she isnt her" I said "you couldnt have called or told me this" and she said again :" it was last minute and she has no more appointments until march" UNACCEPTABLE !!!!! I SAT THERE FOR 1/2 HOUR AND YOU COULDNT TELL ME THIS !!!!!! Shame on her!!! IM VERY DIAPPOINTED INT HIS NEW STAFF !!!! NEW NAME, NEW DISRESPTCTFULL FRONT STAFF. Since i was young i have battled with poor tooth health. I have had countless fillings, root canals, extracts, and so on. None of my dentists or doctors could tell me why my teeth were as bad as they were. Due to the endless cycle of tooth pain/procedures and lack of pricey insurance, i became DEALTHY afraid of going the dentist. It got to the point where i refused to go, and would rather let my teeth decay and be pulled out than go in for multiple procedures. In order for me to go to the dentist, i would require sedation due to my crippling anxiety. Every time i went to the dentist (even under sedation) i would cry and shake. DR. MANOV CHANGED MY LIFE. I cannot even begin to describe how gentle and pain free Dr. Manov makes my procedures. Somehow he is able to inject the numbing agent (i am deathly afraid of needles) without any pain - and i mean NO pain at all. He is not aggressive with his work and goes very slow, asking multiple times how i am doing, even giving my mouth "a break" when doing long procedures. He has done a total reconstruction of my mouth, PAIN FREE, and at the most competitive price i have found (i do not have insurance). Him and his staff has gone above and beyond in making me feel comfortable, and dare i say ~enjoyable~ while going to the dentist. I HIGHLY recommend anyone, even those without insurance, who are afraid of pain, who have had bad dental experiences, or children to go to Dr. Manov. If i had family here i would not let them go to anyone else but him. I have been to dentists all over Iowa, Arizona, and even out of the country, and Dr. Manov blows EVERYONE out of the water - hands down the best dentist i have ever been to. read more
