I would give this place zero stars if I could unfortunately dental healthcare is hard to come by and unfortunately, we are given a choice of this type of dentist office. I have TMJ And have been trying to get some cavities filled for over 2 months so i can get my mouth guard made for TMJ. Every single time i have made an appointment they call me the day of or the day before canceling it and rescheduling it. My first time here, was the most wonderful dental appointment I have ever had. Dr. Whitney Bozyk is by far the best Dentist I have ever seen. She explains every step, will go in depth with information. She told me some of my issues, that I thought would never be able to be taken care of, could. I actually cried a minute at the relief and happiness she gave me. I have no problem going to see her again. I am actually rather excited to get the rest of the work done that my mouth needs. Thank you sooooooooo much Dr. Whitney Bozyk. I have to say ALL the staff is fabulous. I never felt bad about the issues of my mouth. They treat you with respect and compassion. Being I had limit options with my insurance I choose to come here with at the time the need to have 2 cavities filled. Once I left from my exam the dentist said there were 9 cavities! Never have I ever had 9 cavities let alone at once...I've had nothing but trouble with my teeth since I went. My right side I STILL can't eat anything on but the "nerves need to settle" that was a month ago. Then last night one of the fillings just fell out! I call 1st thing in the morning because I have a giant painful who in my tooth and they tell me they have nothing open until Monday, mind your this is Thursday! Terrible wait time, dentist(s) always overbooked, zero communication from staff. 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment time, I still hadn't seen the dentist and no one offered any explanation, so I walked out. If I showed up 40+ minutes late without advance notice, they would consider it disrespectful and told me I had to reschedule. Why is it okay for the "professionals" to disrespect their patients? Why can they show up late to our appointments with no penalty? Our time is valuable, too. I took time off work for this and got nothing out of it. Will not be back and have already instructed my dental insurance to deny any claims for today. Nobody should pay to sit in the office and be ignored for 40 minutes. read more

My daughter had a root canal done in August. She had three appointments for the crown and dental dreams called to cancel all three times and reschedule her appointment because supposably the dentist did not come in. Then on the 9th of October we drove all the way to Battle Creek a 45-minute drive to see a note on the door that they were closed for the day due to an emergency. This is not the way to run a business. We will be finding somewhere else to go. read more

Find another dental office if at all possible. Even though you have an appointment, expect to wait AT LEAST 45 minutes after your scheduled appointment time to actually go into a room. Even after you are in the room, expect to wait even longer for the dentist to show up and even longer after that for the paperwork to be brought back that you need to sign (if they don't end up forgetting about you, which has happened to me now twice). The dentist does not really explain why procedures need to be done. The dental assistants just show up with papers, asking you to sign them for insurance purposes. The office seems to be very unorganized and poorly ran. Will not be returning. read more

I just had an appointment today for my 3 daughters ages 8, 5 and 18 months. The staff was very helpful, I was impressed by how nice and kid friendly the staff was. Super quick with the Xrays and did a GREAT job with the cleanings. Appointment was at 5 and 5:30 and we were checked out at 6. read more

I seem to be in the minority here, as the three visits I have had have been nothing short of excellent. I went here first for tooth pain, then went back a few days later after the infection in the tooth had been taken care of. The extraction was painless and professional, as was the initial visit and a follow up. It almost seems like the other reviewers for the Battle Creek, MI location and I were at totally different offices. This is an awesome place to go to get your dental work done because they are so nice and treat their patients with a lot of respect. The place to go if want the best outcome. I just love the dentist that worked on my teeth in battle creek Michigan. She was the best dentist that anyone could ask for. She so gentle and sweet and funny. I am kind mad that I can't go there anymore because I moved to a different area but this place is the top place that I would tell people about if your looking for a great place to go for yourself or your children and I give this place full stars because they are amazing and a 100% better then any other dentist office that you will go to. read more

Went in to have a molar removed. The dentist was very brutish, busted my mouth and I left with a fat and bleeding lip with a sliver of tooth still remaining. It was very painful. When I asked for something for the pain. He prescribed Motrin. Motrin? Really? I can get that at the dollar store. I know people abuse pain pills but I legitimately needed a couple of days worth of something like Vicodin. Instead, I suffered a few days of sleepless nights dealing with a throbbing mouth. Never again!!! I will thoroughly do my research next time. I'm even willing to pay more. read more

My story and why I dislike this location: First of all this is not my regular dentist office and never will be I called dental dreams because I was in a lot of pain and my regular dentist was booked. Dental dreams scheduled me for the following morning, I thought great, in and out! Not the case at all. I got there, and ended up waiting in the waiting room for over 2 hours, they kept saying sorry and that they accidentally over booked. Finally I got called back and waited another half hour for the dentist to come in (after having xrays) they told me the obvious, that my tooth was infected. Told me to schedule for 1 week from the day to have the tooth pulled. and send me home with a prescription for an antibiotic and motrin. I started taking the antibiotics as soon as I was home. and by the next day I was dizzy and jaw had swollen so much it looked like I had a lemon in my mouth. I went to the hospital, and the ER doctor thought the antibiotic the dentist gave me was a joke. They gave me something a lot stronger, and the swelling was going down within hours. By the following week when I was due to go in to have the tooth out, Dental dreams called me and informed me that had "accidentally overbooked" and would have to move my appointment out another couple day. I didn't mind because I was feeling much better and figured a couple days wouldn't hurt. A couple days passed, and it again came time for my appointment. I was excited to finally have this horrible tooth out! But... again they called and told me my dentist went on vacation! And I would have to be scheduled out ANOTHER WEEK! Fine, whatever! Finally the day of my appointment comes, and they didn't call to reschedule this time! I go in, and this time end up waiting 1 hour in the waiting room, and 1 hour waiting for the dentist to come in. He instantly went to work, putting numbing gel in my mouth to prepare for the shots of Novocaine. Well he gives me several shots of novocaine, and leaves. Comes back about 45 minutes later, and starts pushing on my tooth to break it to take it out, I was in obvious pain! He then gives me several more shots, and leaves... again...45 minutes! he finally comes back in, and starts poking the tooth again, I tell him I can still feel it. And he says let me try something else. Now I am thinking he is going to try another numbing product or something along those lines..... NOPE! He gets claw pliers (I'm not sure of the actual name of this tool) and uses them to push my gums down and hook under the root of my tooth. Keep in mind I am feeling every bit of this!... He then started jerking my tooth back and forth, while I am screaming. He was holding my mouth open, I couldn't get away if I tried. He sounded annoyed while talking to me. He did finally get my tooth out, but I felt every second of it and was actually shaking after, and could barely walk because I was so shaken by the whole unprofessional experience. I have had a tooth pulled before (by my regular dentist) and I have never dealt with anything like this. Don't waste your time with this place, unless you really enjoy pain... I would vote less than 1 star if possible! read more

This place is absolutely terrible!!! I understand that when youre a walk-in patient, anywhere, that patients with an appointment will get called in before you, but i sat in the waiting area for over 2 1/2 hours before i was called in and during that time 6 other walk-in patients came in after me and ALL of them were called in before me and when i asked how much longer it would be, the woman at the desk acted like they completely forgot about me. I went in today for and abscessed tooth which has the left side of my face severely swollen and when i finally got called in the nurse asked if i came in for a tooth that was bothering me and said that i was put down for a full routine new patient exam when i definitely put down emergency visit for an abscessed tooth. She then proceeded to poke and prod at the tooth before roughly jamming the xray bit into my mouth and then yanked it out with just as much force. I then notice that there is still blood from a previous patient on the handle of the overhead light and that the booths, which is basically all that youre in, are a bit unorganized and definitely not very sterile. About 30 minutes later the doctor walks in, points out the obvious, and says, its definitely infected and you also have 4 other teeth in the same area that need to be pulled (the same teeth my regular dentist told me need to be surgically removed) so im going to give you a prescription for antibiotics and i want you to schedule another appointment in 7-10 days to come in and have them pulled. I asked if he meant surgically removed and he said, no we will do a normal extraction. The same teeth he was refering to are broken down so low that theres nothing to grab to do a normal extraction. When i asked about something for the pain he told me to go home and take some motrin and if it didnt help enough to take a couple tylenol WITH the motrin. As i was leaving the women at the desk, now scrolling thru facebook and gabbing at eachother, ask me if i was scheduling another appointment and i politely said no, i already have an appointment scheduled for a few weeks from now with my regular dentist and all of them started glaring at me and the one that asked snapped at me and said fine, whatever then, dont bothet coming back at all. Overall it was a horrible experience. The staff is rude and inconsiderate, the dr clearly has no idea what hes doing, sanitaion apparently isnt a concern to them and they have no concept of doing ANYTHING in a timely fashion, including writing a simple prescription for antibiotics. If i were to give any recommendation of any kind, it would be to AVOID THIS WRETCHED PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!! If you are experiencing any kind of tooth pain or abscess like me, youre better off going to an urgent care or hospital emergency room. read more
