I waited to see if the pain would subside, but it continued, so I googled dentists and found Dr. Daniel Haeussner on Yelp. Called and talked to Kara, who was so kind a welcoming and they fit me in the same day to see what was going on. Everything from their lovely office, to their friendly staff, to their service was top notch. Kim, my dental assistant, quickly put me at ease and assured we'd address what the issue is as she took X-rays and made me comfortable. Dr. Haeussner came in and let me know everything looked good in the X-ray. He asked if I had been stressed lately (who hasn't!? But my job has been very stressful lately) and thought I may be grinding my teeth. He asked if I had also been experiencing headaches, which last week I had terrible headaches, so much so I got a Covid test just to be sure! He did a bite test, and even when I thought there is no way this pain is coming from grinding, he was sweet and did another one just to ease my concerns. He recommended a warm compress and anti-inflammatory. I could not believe this was causing this sort of pain, so I was so relieved to hear the news! I thought for sure I needed emergency filling or root canal. My dad is a dentist in Michigan and so this was my first experience outside of family. Dr. Haeussner assured me there were no major concerns and I appreciated his honest, sincere compassion with the situation. Funny enough, we laughed how my dad is also named Daniel, and I saw the Dr. Dan of St. Augustine. Anyone who is looking for a dentist, look no further! And this is coming from the daughter of a dentist. Thank you Kara, Kim and Dr. Haeussner for taking care of me while I was away!

I've been going to this office, located in the Harbor Island plaza, for 8-9 years now. A co-worker initially recommended him as being one of the best in town, and how well he treated her daughter with all the work her family has needed. Vicki runs a tight ship at the front desk, keeps the billing and insurance straight, and calls me to make sure I don't lose track of my appointments. The hygienists do a great job of cleaning up after any brushing and flossing 'oversights' that I've made, and they've always dedicated a full hour to that work. (Somewhere along the line, I read that it takes a solid hour to do a good job at it, and that cutting down on that time is one way that some offices can pad their bottom lines.) Be advised that they stay booked pretty solid for months in advance, particularly for the early and late appointments, so if you need to reschedule a cleaning, you could be waiting a while. I've been very fortunate that I've not needed personally needed Dr Diaz to perform any major work yet, but in chatting with him during x-rays and consultations (he's actually an very interesting fellow to talk to), I feel comfortable that I'd be in great hands.

She had normal crowding: my wisdom teeth were impacted and coming in at 90 degrees, as well as suffering from bacteria pockets he showed me on the Xray caused by the impacting, which also caused a cavity in one of my four wisdom teeth. Knowing this, you would think I would have been prescribed antibiotics. On the second day of being in excruciating pain, he prescribed me more Hydros. On the third day, after informing the surgeon I was throwing up, I was told that the risk of infection is rare and I probably have the flu. Although he said I can send pictures, and did try to schedule an appointment, I ended up going to the ER and informed I had a severe infection and put on antibiotics. To make It even worse, when I went to him for my follow up appointment, the surgeon tried to tell me that the infection was from food getting stuck in the holes even when I explained that I had kept up with my oral care and did not eat any solid food before I went to the ER. Do not come here.

They took x-rays and told me I had gum disease and needed a deep cleaning, plus 2 to 3 crowns, plus a cavity filled. I had them do one crown then got more doubtful of the diagnosis (had no symptoms of gum disease or a cavity). I had them send my x-rays to another dentist in town who found no problems with my teeth and gave me a regular cleaning. All is well except that that the one crown Seabreeze did put on causes me to bite my cheek even months later and after two attempts to file it down some. Also, it took the dentist there several attempts to numb my tooth when prepping it for the crown and I still felt pain.

I was transferred to St Augustine, and transferred care from my former dentist to St Augustine Family last year. Dr. Caggiano read my entire folder (I'm no stranger to dental work or dental procedures), even making mention of the note in my chart of my rapid metabolism and the only anesthetic that will work to numb me, and had plenty of it on hand for my first procedure. I knew that I had a prior cavity repair fail twice on my back lower left molar, but I didn't have the time to get it fixed properly. A prior dentist had attempted to repair this and couldn't manage the water from the drill, and it choked me multiple times.(Water in the lungs is not fun) First procedure: Failed cavity repair on a deep tooth way in the back that I had less than favorable experiences with. After discussing options w/ Dr. Caggiano- and my never wanting to get a root canal - we opted to crown the tooth. I'll try it one more time- on my second visit. Dr. Caggiano was very communicative during the procedure and 2 assistants worked diligently to keep the water out of my throat during the drilling with 2 large bore suction hoses running together. Their crown impressions were on point, and the temp crown held for the 2 weeks that we had to wait for the new one to be made. Over a year later, no issues with the crown and just had my semi-annual cleaning. No cavities, no gaps in the crown.

My insurer, United Health Care, says most of the things in the treatment case should be covered. United Dental agent called them but could only leave a message. She said if I don't hear from them I should call and tell them to call United Health Care Dental. I hadn't heard from them so I called. No answer. My current plan will expire at the end of June and I'm afraid the work will not be completed. What is going on over there?

Dr. Trunk is super friendly but also great at what she does. She's also realistic - she encourages strong oral hygiene but doesn't talk to you like a lot of other dentists can (read: condescendingly). She just chats with you. The hygienists are also quick and professional and clearly enjoy what they do. I also had a more major procedure done (root canal and crown due to a mistake from a previous dentist) and that was as pleasant as could be. They are professional and do great work and I have had no issues with the crown since they put it in nearly two years ago.

Following their treatment plan, I came in to replace 3 old fillings. Dr. O. removed the old…read morefillings, but decided I needed a root canal and crown instead of a filling. My fillings were from many years ago. Now instead of $78, it's going to be thousands of dollars. Went to another office getting a filling not a root canal. Also, beware of the topical fluoride for adults....it is a profit center. I have never been asked if I wanted this additional treatment. I researched on line. Make up your own mind. Some research says it is great for adults, other research says it is all about the money. Dental Doctors has changed a lot in the past few years. Maybe it is time to make a switch. It appears their business is not nearly as busy as it once was. These are my views and I am not a doctor or dentist. As always, buyer beware.

Do not go here. Dr. Singh may seem nice but the office is a joke. There are about 3 employees total, the girl was stopping while doing my xrays to answer the phone. I was told I needed multiple things done, including a crown. She told me she had to clean my teeth because they did not have a dental hygienist on staff because they're too expensive. Someone walked in for an appointment with her and she literally handed the tools off to the tech, who did not speak clear English and left me for a walk in appointment. After telling me she wasn't qualified! The girl kept pushing my lip down into my canine tooth, I asked her to stop multiple times. The little suction thing she was using was not the thin flexible clear one, like I always see mine tire life. It was in fact about a half inch wide solid hard piece of tubing. It was very abrasive. I did try to tell her, but she couldn't respond to me in English. My husband's appointment problem the same day after mine where he was told to have his teeth cleaned it would cost him $600 out of pocket, because he would need a deep cleaning. We're both healthy 30 year olds with no prior dental issues. My husband immediately asked me to never send him back or use his office again after that, and the crown amongst other things. And the fact that the receptionist came in to do his x-rays. I made an appointment at a different dentist the following week and when I asked him if the tooth needed their crown, he asked me why on earth I thought I might be in need of a crown, I told him that another dentist had recommended it and he was shocked. They also had no issues cleaning my husbands teeth and told me that anyone that told him he needed a deep cleaning was just trying to get more money. I paid on the spot for a "cavity" I had at Dental Remedies- she did not to a numbing shot or anything and they second dentist told me my xrays were perfect..... they also wanted to charge me nearly $1200 to pull my 12 years old 3 teeth for braces. New dentist pulled them for $92/tooth. Yes, that's significantly cheaper. For reference, the new dentist was located a couple hundred feet away and had been at that location for nearly 30 years. He is exceptional. I had them cost out what it would've been to have the same cavity doctor seen claimed I had filled at their office and it was literally less than half the cost. I called my insurance company to report some of the issues I had and they were quite familiar with this office and said that there was a case against it to see if they could have them removed from CIGNA dental. The lady on the phone with the CIGNA dental insurance called this office while I was on hold to try to have some things taken care of being that they were sending me bills for things that were already paid, the lady from CIGNA dental came back on the phone it told me that she cannot believe how rude this office staff was and how unknowledgeable they were. In her words, she had never dealt with such ignorance and hostility in her decade of working for CIGNA dental. Here we are eight weeks later, despite the fact that I have sent in written request, called and emailed for dental remedies to send my husband's x-rays to a new dental office. They are refusing. I just called the office and Dr. Singh answered the phone herself, today is Thursday, she told me that she would send them over next week on Monday. I have called her back and now she is avoiding my calls. Avoid this office they will not be in business for very long. your xrays will be a lost cause. read more

I had been experiencing jaw and tooth pain on a stay here in St Augustine. I Googled dentists and found Dr Singh and called and talked to Madeline, who was so welcoming. They fit me in the same day to see what was happening. Everything from their lovely office to their friendly staff to their service was top notch!. The assistant quickly put me at ease. She took an x ray and then Dr Singh came in and looked at the x-ray and said everything looked good and asked if I was stressed lately? She asked if I was also having headaches. She did a bite test and when I thought there is no way the pain is coming from grinding my teeth and she did all the tests to assure me that there was no tooth infection. She recommended I use anti-inflammatories and to find ways to relax. I could not believe griding was causing this much pain! So, I went back home to my dentist in Chicago and had him double check and he said the same thing. So I decided it's worthy of writing a yelp review for Dr Singh. Thanks for your honesty and help!!! Absolutely, positively one of the best dental experiences I've ever had! Everyone in this office was spectacular! Autumn made it very easy to schedule an appointment, all the staff was friendly, knowledgeable, working together and extremely professional! I had a massive toothache and called for a same day appointment. From the moment I got there the staff and Dr. Singh were amazing. I called early in the morning and she answered her phone and told me to Come in at 9am. She said there would be a slight wait since she had a packed day. I only waited 30 minutes. She sent me home with meds and had me come back later that day to get my tooth pulled. Her and her staffed stayed late to accommodate me. They made me feel As comfortable as possible. They took their time and made sure I was relaxed. I would most definitely recommend Dental Remedies! read more

Dental office ; clean , relaxing , inviting & friendly . Absolutely FANTASTIC staff ... knowledgeable, helpful , attentive and very patient . Dr . Singh was exceptionally kind and understanding of my Pain condition and continued comfort throughout the process plus guided me through proper aftercare pertaining to my condition . I had a wonderful experience here. The doctor and staff were very friendly and calming. I am a bit nervous in doctors offices and I actually felt pretty relaxed here. I had not been to the dentist in quite some time and knew I needed some work done. After my initial evaluation the doctor was surprised how good of shape my teeth were in and she recommended a regular cleaning. Thankfully, my insurance covered everything. I initially saw Dr Singh for a second opinion and was given a complete explanation of all options available to me. I felt very comfortable with her communication skills and professionalism and opted to receive all dental services in her office. I have had a Root canal, Crown and Extractions with no complications. When I called to ask about it, the front desk laughed at me. The office refused to take responsibility, saying the employee who originally provided the information no longer works there. I also had 1 filling done, which my new dentist let me know was poorly done. On top of that, I saw 2 dogs inside the office during visits without service vests, which didn't seem sanitary for a healthcare setting (if they were legitimate service animals, I understand). Overall, very disappointed with the lack of transparency and professionalism. Take your money & teeth elsewhere!

They took x-rays and told me I had gum disease and needed a deep cleaning, plus 2 to 3 crowns, plus a cavity filled. I had them do one crown then got more doubtful of the diagnosis (had no symptoms of gum disease or a cavity). I had them send my x-rays to another dentist in town who found no problems with my teeth and gave me a regular cleaning. All is well except that that the one crown Seabreeze did put on causes me to bite my cheek even months later and after two attempts to file it down some. Also, it took the dentist there several attempts to numb my tooth when prepping it for the crown and I still felt pain.

I waited to see if the pain would subside, but it continued, so I googled dentists and found Dr. Daniel Haeussner on Yelp. Called and talked to Kara, who was so kind a welcoming and they fit me in the same day to see what was going on. Everything from their lovely office, to their friendly staff, to their service was top notch. Kim, my dental assistant, quickly put me at ease and assured we'd address what the issue is as she took X-rays and made me comfortable. Dr. Haeussner came in and let me know everything looked good in the X-ray. He asked if I had been stressed lately (who hasn't!? But my job has been very stressful lately) and thought I may be grinding my teeth. He asked if I had also been experiencing headaches, which last week I had terrible headaches, so much so I got a Covid test just to be sure! He did a bite test, and even when I thought there is no way this pain is coming from grinding, he was sweet and did another one just to ease my concerns. He recommended a warm compress and anti-inflammatory. I could not believe this was causing this sort of pain, so I was so relieved to hear the news! I thought for sure I needed emergency filling or root canal. My dad is a dentist in Michigan and so this was my first experience outside of family. Dr. Haeussner assured me there were no major concerns and I appreciated his honest, sincere compassion with the situation. Funny enough, we laughed how my dad is also named Daniel, and I saw the Dr. Dan of St. Augustine. Anyone who is looking for a dentist, look no further! But probably the deal breaker was that for a routine check up after the dental part of the appt. we would've had to wait SIX MONTHS for a cleaning. We've NEVER run into this kind of arrangement in our collective 140 year experience. One explanation, we thought, was that they couldn't hire or retain enough dental hygienists. And why is that? Are there not enough dental hygienists in St. Augustine, or does the practice not pay them enough or otherwise provide a miserable working experience? Who knows, and really we don't care. We are tired with tolerating drama anywhere for whatever reason, so we're going back to our "old" dentist in Orlando. We got two appts. about 10 days out from contacting them. The appt. includes a cleaning.

Dr. Trunk is super friendly but also great at what she does. She's also realistic - she encourages strong oral hygiene but doesn't talk to you like a lot of other dentists can (read: condescendingly). She just chats with you. The hygienists are also quick and professional and clearly enjoy what they do. I also had a more major procedure done (root canal and crown due to a mistake from a previous dentist) and that was as pleasant as could be. They are professional and do great work and I have had no issues with the crown since they put it in nearly two years ago.

My fillings were from many years ago. Now instead of $78, it's going to be thousands of dollars. Went to another office getting a filling not a root canal. Also, beware of the topical fluoride for adults....it is a profit center. I have never been asked if I wanted this additional treatment. I researched on line. Make up your own mind. Some research says it is great for adults, other research says it is all about the money. Dental Doctors has changed a lot in the past few years. Maybe it is time to make a switch. It appears their business is not nearly as busy as it once was. These are my views and I am not a doctor or dentist. As always, buyer beware.

How can a dentist appointment be FUN? From the fabulous teeth cleaning, exam, and actual work performed, - it's brilliant. I overheard Dr. Elliot talk to his patient too and he seems just as brilliant. This is the best place to go for any dental issue & I'm one appointment away from completing my treatment plan.
