I went here a year or so ago to get my teeth fixed. I was lied to about insurance without knowing, so I signed up and scheduled an appointment after my consultation. At the appointment I was mistaken for the wrong patient once, and the doctor was not the nicest. I wasn't fully numb when he started beating my teeth out and my fiancé could hear me screaming from the lobby. Hours after my appointment, screw looking things fell out of my mouth I went back and was told that I had dry socket and the only way they would help me was if I gave them $200 extra. I'm not sure how I had dry socket with no pain at all. I've heard that was quite painful. Also I was told that I needed to quit smoking so I wouldn't get dry socket. I hadn't smoked in almost 10 years before my initial appointment so I'm not sure where that came from. I found a different dentist and DR refused to send my records until a court document demanded it, and even then it was after the deadline when they all of a sudden claimed I had to pay a fee to get my records sent. Anyway...I filed a complaint with the board and looked into a lawsuit. Lawsuit didn't pan out and I'm waiting to hear from the board on a decision. They still tried calling to schedule appointments with me even through all of this. It has been about a year, and today they called me out of the blue to schedule a post op appointment. Fxxk no. I have an actual dentist for that who does not have 5+ complaints / reprimands from the board under their belt. Avoid this place at ALL costs. I wish I could give them a 0/5 stars. read more

Not happy with their customer service, front office staff. I visited the Dallas location off NW Hwy with my nephew. Been waiting for 2 months for dental records in order to see a specialist regarding my nephew. The Dentist stated they could not do the dental work needed. Good enough. I found a specialist. This company is an inherited problem, I do not use them for my dental services. I have called several times and no results as of yet. Getting different stories about their policy. One person stated the records are sent directly to the patient (never heard of that before) and another states they will send it directly to the specialist. Very frustrated with them. This dental office is unbelievably unorganized and when an issue pops up because of their obvious mistakes, instead of apologizing nicely, they are talking to you way too rude and unprofessional. Their tools are all old and not working properly which caused me to set another appointment just for a simple cleaning. They canceled my appointments two times without any notices in advanced. When I got there after an hour driving, a lady simply said the doctor is left, you need to set another appointment and come back later. I drove almost an hour to get there and had to return because of their failure to let me know that the appointment is canceled. Also I had another appointment in their Allen office, when I went there, the office was closed, I called to the customer service and found out this office is closed for months and they have no idea when are going to open it again. On top of all these terrible experiences, one of the doctors pulled out my 6 years old daughter's two front baby teeth 8 months earlier. When we went to the office for 6 months checkup, he told me it's better to pull them off, but they were not loose or wiggling "I took a video from the process". It's about 8 months that my daughter can not eat normally and we saw her gum bleeding many times so far. I tried 3 time to contact with one of the managers, they didn't transfer me to them but promised to have them call me back ASAP. I haven't received any call from them so far. I'm going to report them to both BBB and Texas State Board of Dental to make sure other patients are not going to be treated like me. When I applied I saw it said they were "urgently hiring" and now I know why. They are super unprofessional and really rude. They always switched up everything and always had something different to say. I applied for one position and when I got there they didn't even have an idea of what I was supposed to do so they were about to train for something I didn't even apply for. I was scheduled for a wisdom tooth removal appointment at 8AM, which was fine because I understand that these surgeries are not an easy in and out process. I got there at 7:40 AM, waited until about 9:40 until a dental assistant finally called me in for paperwork. No one updated me on where I was in line, I was waiting for hours in a super full lobby with other patients who had been waiting the same amount of time. When we were done with the paperwork I was sent back out to wait another 15 minutes, and then finally put in a room to start preparing for anesthesia. The first few nurses/dental assistants/ etc I had dealt with that day were kind and straight forward, but when I sat down two different nurses came in and my entire attitude shifted. They immediately started talking about some party or event and about a bunch of random crap, and one of them started shooting me looks as if I was interrupting their conversation when I am literally just trying not to cry from the anxiety I've had over this surgery all morning and all last night. I hadn't eaten since 10pm the night before, didn't drink any water, my stomach was absolutely empty because Google said I shouldn't have anything for hours before my surgery, no one sent me any information on how to prepare before so I didn't want to mess anything up and postpone it any longer. The nurse was looking for a vein suitable for the anesthesia needle, which would have obviously been fine and normal if she wasn't so physically rude with my arm. She squeezed it real tight without warning, and instead moved to my wrist to find a vein where she, again, without warning, started slapping my wrist incredibly hard. I don't even know what the hell that's even supposed to do, I'm not a medical professional but I have never seen someone do that shit, especially while not asking how I felt or telling me about what she was doing. I wish I got her name but I was very tired and I wanted things to be over with. She was a white woman, looked young from afar but when you got close she looked like she was in her early forties, in general she had a lack of care for patients and it was honestly a horrible experience. I hate almost everyone there. Again I wish I paid attention to names, but for the most part the bilingual/Spanish speaking women were the most comforting and easygoing staff there, everyone else needs to get it together. Katie Moullie is the Regional Manager which promised me $21 an hour, before payday they fired me because I missed the weekly meeting which had been cancelled one week and rescheduled the following week, because of their lack of organization and after hour text messages. Went in with my husband his wisdom tooth was hurting him on a Sat. afternoon. A young male with glasses took us back he didnt introduced himself so we had no idea who he was either the assistant or Dentist he took my husband blood pressure with a child cuff no wonder it was high and took a Pano. Then he sat us in a room then another young male comes in he also didn't introduced he examined my husband. Then we were taken to another room to discuss treatment they want $400.00 for each wisdom tooth to be pulled out. Plus they wouldn't release the Pano unless we pay another $25.00 and they would mail it to us would take about 30 days to received. This place is the worst dental office out there. Me and my mom went in for her to get a filling and some guy who we didn't even know if he was the dentist or just an assistant told her to get a crown. They put in a temporary which fell out then put the actual crown which also fell out. My mom went back in to get it fixed and they said they couldn't do it. As a dental assistant I know there is a way to help your patient when something like this happens and they did nothing. They aren't worth the money or time of there patients. read more

Ok I'm a health care snob. Being at the top of the food pyramid permits this. But when benefits oh wait new term 'rewards'. Only provide a DHO for one dental procedure I realize it ain't no reward for working. They should be bending over backwards further to keep me!(yes it's possible see my review of Cirque). Seemed extremely efficient though I was ready to start kicking rug rats out of the way just to get out of the door. Will be verifying my need for PCP referral vs self referral. Worst experience EVER. My insurance Company made a mistake and didn't place my family on the patient roster. After talking to my employer and the insurance company they corrected the error and offered a letter stating the mistake. The letter would also state my family members were in fact covered and could be seen by the office. The office refused and said I needed to wait ( possibly up to 30 days) to be on the the roster to be seen. I will be looking for another provider. Had appointment at 6pm, were charged for fluoride, before even seeing my teeth, were offered a discount, paid since I had been there for an hour already, after 2hrs finally got to see doctor, who mentioned that needed a deeper cleaning which involved Anesthesia, were sent back to front desk and were told insurance did not cover and had to pay 140.00, file did not show when last cleaning was done, How can that be I been having my teeth cleaned there for at least 4years, also never had to pay extra for the deep cleaning or fluoride, also still have same insurance as before, asked for a refund, transaction was voided and I was told by assuming was management that other providers were available if I felt that I waited too long. Did not have a good experience at the location at 3211 Northwest Highway in Dallas today. The office was not very clear when explaining dental cleaning options. They said a normal dental cleaning at the office is, "a toothbrush cleaning and the mild tooth cleaning cleans each tooth." They did not answer my questions when asked beyond this and addressed me as the incorrect patient discussing another patients plan of care with me instead. Not one person introduced themselves or their title. The office was dirty and chairs were not cleaned in-between patients nor did staff wash their hands or use hand sanitizer. The dentist I saw had no bedside manner and was sarcastic. The last thing he said to me at the end of the appointment was, "keep your teeth cleaned so won't have to do that again." Five staff members saw me walk out with blood all over my face without saying anything before I left the office. Spoke with manager Mariel ("I'm the manager and HR") who excused their behavior and conditions of the office. I will not be returning to this location. read more

Omg I have had the biggest roller coaster with this dental office. I got my braces March 1015 and stopped going in April 2016 because my teeth started to look worse then they did before I even got my braces. I am trying to get my full refund and they refuse to after explaining to them that I went to get advice from several different orthodontics about the horrible service/treatment I was given. The new orthodontic doctor I went to pretty much told me everything they were doing incorrectly and he couldn't believe the damage they had done to my teeth. I literally have a front gap and I have never had a gap between my two front teeth. I AM SO LIVID! I would never in a million years recommend this place to anyone. It's a joke! They don't even have a front sign up in the main lobby for patients to have a contact of for the main supervisor to complain to. I have tried getting the main supervisor's number or email & they refused several times to give it me. So I called all of the other Dental Republics in the Dallas area and some would even forward my calls or pick up then hang up to avoid me. It's like they are hiding something from me. I was supposed to meet up with Mariel Nava (one of the "upper managements") today to talk about what was going on and see if I could get a refund and she never showed up. WTF?! I emailed her the day before and day of to confirm our appointment and she ignored my emails every single time. I feel so sorry for all the patients that are not knowledgeable about this place because they don't know into the sick mess they are getting into. I am officially taking this to FOX 4, BBB, Dental Board, and hiring my lawyer. I am going to get my money back. Mark my words. This is ridiculous. I broke a molar while trying to be healthy and eat some carrots - imagine that - and I needed an implant to fill the space since the tooth had a cavity before it was broken. Instead of just trying to get it capped, I decided an implant was the best thing for me because if I smiled, you could still see the tooth :( Both the staff at Dental Republic and Dr. Tran were so nice to me and made sure that I understood EVERYTHING that was going on. They explained the process, and even told me they have their own personal taxi service that would take me home if I didn't have someone to drive me (I got put under). They had an affordable payment plan I could easily commit too which made me suuuuper happy. read more

Dental Republic, particularly the one on Buckner (Pleasant Grove), They are nothing short of thieves. The presented me with a plan where they were charging $290 for one extraction. That is right $180 to the insurance company and $110 to me. They also told my insurance did not cover for dentures which is a lie. To make a long story short, please do not bother with that company, they are the worst and in my opinion do not deserve to be in business. I will most definitely find the CEO or whoever is in charge and write him/her a complaint letter. I went in for a consultation two weeks ago.so two weeks ago. I got checked by the doctor and yes i decided to get them. so Amanda the receptionist, secretary or whatever she is quoted me. and so did the doctor. They gave me a decent price for them. I was absolutly happy with this but then,two weeks after that, A DAY BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT, I get a call from Amanda saying she had misquoted me.i Was ok its probably a couple hundred more but sadly no. I was astonished. The price of each venners had actually more then doubled. Supposedly the price had changed a few day earlier, not a few weeks but a few days. So i told them how in the hell you tell me your're going to charge me for a price back when it was the right price and change it a day before the treatment started. They said they could not do anything about it and they still had to charge me the price that "It was now". It is so unfair. I've never gone through so much inconpetence. These people are so unprofecional, I still can't believe the way they lie to a patient. It is so unethical and wrong. SO PLEASE AVOID THESE PEOPLE.
