The staff is friendly, but paying $3,000 for two wisdom teeth removal, even with insurance, is far too high. Unfortunately, I was also charged an additional $2,000 for X-rays I wasn't informed about beforehand. They provided an itemized receipt, and each X-ray was priced between $300-$400, which was shocking. I'm deeply upset and regret coming here. I've contacted the Better Business Bureau because this feels unethical. On top of that, they strongly push for you to apply for a CareCredit card and set up a payment plan, quoting $10,000 for braces. It seems like they prioritize upselling over patient care. I would not recommend this place--there are better options out there. I've already warned my friends and family. read more

This place is the worst! Especially to bring your children to. They tried to overcharge me to get my son's cavities fixed. They rather me pay out of pocket than run my secondary insurance. The manager is so RUDE as well, she even went as far as to text me. Very unprofessional. She really thought she was going to get that payment out of me, even went as far as to telling me they'll charge the same price everywhere.. well guess what? I ended up going elsewhere & my son got his cavities taken care of.. NO CHARGE due to my secondary insurance. ALSO!!!! They told me my son had 6 cavities when he only had 4!!!!! Please make sure to get a second opinion. (In regards to anything really). My wife came home devastated that Dental Rivera claimed she had 13 CAVITIES. She told me that this has never happened and she has great dental hygiene. I urged her to get a second opinion. A couple weeks later she finally scheduled an appointment to another dental office. This new dentist performed x-rays and found only 3 CAVITIES and 1 old filling that has to be replaced. My wife went back to the office since she still had dental Rivera make a mouth guard and when she went back they were pushing her to get her "13 cavities" filled. (Every time she went they were very adamant of taking care of all her cavities to the point where it made my wife uncomfortable). My wife told the lady that she will not be getting her cavities fixed here and that she got a second opinion and that they only found 3 cavities. With no acknowledgment or apology, the lady simply asked what # tooth and if she wants to get them done here. I really don't know why this place did this.. was it lack of experience, greed, misinformed?? But all I'm saying is- get a second opinion.. even a third, please. I hope this helps. read more

I cracked a molar this morning. They helped me out fairly quickly. Dr Z said she'd have to do an extraction. But after the financial assistant came and tried to upsell a bone graft and I refused it, the doctor immediately said she couldn't remove my molar because my roots were too long. She told me to go to another dentist across the street because they didn't have time for me until 10 days from today. She didn't have a problem pulling my tooth out until after she realized she wasn't going to make much money off of me. :( They kept trying to push the $500 bone graft. I said I didn't want it. She said she'd give me a $50 discount. Again, I told them I didn't want it. She told me I could make payments on it. I told her that I didn't want the bone graft at all. She said okay, let me talk to the dentist. A minute later, they both come over and to tell me that the dentist cannot do the extraction and that I need an oral surgeon. I called another dentist, they said I needed a referral. So I went back to Dental Rivera. They spoke on the phone and told the other receptionist that I just needed a "regular dentist" and that I didn't need a referral. -.- read more

My previous dentist retired. so I wanted to tried Dental Rivera as my new dentist. (bad idea) after x rays and inicial examination from the doctor, he toll me I had no problems with my teeth, but to wait for the hygienist for my regular cleaning. when she looked at my x rays without even checking my gums she said I had an infection and that I needed antibiotics a deep cleaning, and a follow up with medication for 20 days. and if didn't do it I could get liver, kidney problems or even cancer. how far can these scaring tactics can go for some people to get money into their dental business? not for me... read more

STAY AWAY-WORST DENTIST AROUND. We have PPO Delta Dental and they tried to charge my son $1000 for laser cleaning with antibiotics. Since when does a cleaning need antibiotics. Once we questioned the charged they treated my son badly and gave him a very painful cleaning with no numbing g. Even with a new office name change this office is horrible. I had a filling done on my #30 molar. Ever since I got it changed it's been nothing but issues. I return today and the doctor is going to tell me my filling was never done at this office and my #20 tooth is what's hurting. As if I haven't dealt with the pain for months and know where the pain is coming from. Her conclusion was based on a cold cotton ball test which she placed on #30 which guess what PAIN then on #20 guess what minimal pain. I proceed to tell her where my pain is and she then says she is not going to treat me lol. This office is a joke. What was the point of me raising my hand to indicate I had pain. Mind you my sister in law is a dental hygienist and she too performed this. Everything is okay as they try to milk your insurance and say you need X,Y and Z but fail to resolve issues you come out with from being seen at this facility. This is the second time I return for a filling not being done properly and to now be seen from Dr.Zadeht and receive this service from a so called profesional is beyond disgusting. Maybe she just didn't want to work today. She should have taken the time to look at my records and not go by the assistant that just sat me down. No X-rays we're even taken during this visit, mind you I have a text stating they would redo the X-rays yet nothing was done. I would not recommend this facility at all. It's a waste of time and is a hostile environment. I have since asked for all my records. I will go elsewhere. I highly suggest you do the same. I will be filling a complaint. They didn't even call NOTHING after this awful experience. Ps. Liz make sure my records get mailed I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE MY RECORDS!
