I don't like dentists. I don't like Dr. Hutchinson as a dentist because I am scared of them all dentists. But, Dr. Hutchinson is such a great dentist that she is confusing me. I like her and her practice. Audrey at the front desk is always very helpful and personable. Nicole is my hygienist and she gives the cleanest CLEANEST teeth cleaning. For those who are scared of the dentist AND going out with your mask off in public, this place is for you. You park your car to call in. They prep your station. Then, they call you to walk toward them. The other patient would have left. You wait for the front desk to send their designated door handle handler to open and close doors for you. They have you sanitize your hands. They have you take off your mask only when you have gotten to your dentist station. Each dentist station has their own air filter. Everyone wears their face masks correctly. I have not once seen anyone pulling theirs off to "get air" when "no one is around". Very careful and thoughtful place. read more

I should have written before now about what a great practice Dr. Hutchinson has established but felt compelled after the amazing service she provided last week and today. Our family has gone there from the time she took over for the retiring dentist. The office is clean and efficient. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Dr. Hutchinson has a great 'chair side manner' and is amazingly competent, professional and efficient. I unexpectedly a cracked tooth a week ago. I left a message early on a Monday morning before the office opened and she called within 20 minutes to leave me a message and I was in the office two hours later! The tooth was beyond repair so she had her office set me up with a local surgeon to take care of it that day! I've been going to Dr. Hutchinson for 7 years or so, and I have to say, the best Dentist I've ever had. A very personal practice, as all her team members are just great! As far as Dr. Hutchinson's skills and professionalism, it just doesn't get any better. I have been going to this location since I was a teen (Dr. Murphy) and loved every experience. When the transition was made after he had left I was a little unsure but the rest of the staff was the same. Met Dr. Hutchinson and she was nice enough. I came back for another cleaning a few months back, and was disappointed to find out that my insurance was no longer accepted. When I tried to inquire about why, there were no answers and I was basically sent home with an "oh well". So now I have to find a new dentist. After almost 10 years. If there was a better explanation on why or even an understanding that you aligned with my frustrations the experience would have been 10x better. 3 stars were provided mainly for Kim! I've been to Dr. Hutchinson twice. The first time was for a consult, cleaning and referral to an oral surgeon. This most recent visit was to settle up for the years I avoided regular visits to the dentist. I booked back to back appointments so I would only have to dread one morning. I had my cleaning and then 4 cavities filled (don't judge me ). If you couldn't already tell, I am not a fan of dentists or the dental experience. I do everything I can (including owning my own dental kit) to avoid regular visits. Turns out actually going to medical school makes a big difference in diagnostic skills. It also helps to be able to see inside the entire mouth. I really like this dentist, staff and office. This is the first time in my life that I've seen a hygienist twice in one year (she's awesome!) and I intend to keep my next 6th month appointment. Dr. Hutchinson is a perfectionist when it comes to dental work. She is highly skilled, extremely knowledgeable and if that wasn't enough, she's also pretty funny. I laugh every time I'm in the chair which is a new experience for me. During my 4 fillings today, I felt zero pain and laughed. What more could you ask for? read more

I had my first experience at Hutchinson Dental today and let me just say that it was hands down the best experience at a dentist that I have ever had. Started off with my first phone call to make the appointment and Audrey helped me set everything up hassle free to include contacting my insurance and getting all of my coverage information for me. I called on Monday and had an appointment for the following Tuesday morning. Upon arriving at Hutchinson Dental, I was able to meet Audrey face to face and she immediately took my paperwork and I was called back to the room in less than 5 minutes. Once in the room they took X-rays and Dr. Hutchinson was in the room within 30-minutes of me walking in the door. She talked me through the entire process, showing me all of my X-rays, and answered any of my questions with ease. Then Marie, took me back for my cleaning where she, just like the Dr., talked me through the entire process and was more than helpful with any concerns I had. The teeth cleaning was as painless as it could possibly be and Marie was great throughout the entire process. I am absolutely thrilled to have Dr. Hutchinson as my dentist. She is a true professional who cares about her patients. She did some bonding on my 4 front teeth which turned out 'beautifully'!!! She is a true artist with the bonding cement. She is a perfectionist. On my recent orthodontist care I was not receiving adequate care and I asked Dr Hutchinson for a 2nd opinion. She immediately took pictures of my teeth and made a list of items left undone with my invisalign treatment. She become my personal advocate and spoke directly with the orthodontist on my behalf on a few occasions. This was not her responsibility, but she actually cares about her patients, even when the treatment is being done someplace else. While visiting family in Long Beach from the east coast, my 7 year old son fell and broke off the bottom half of his front (permanent) tooth. My sister in law quickly called her dentist, Dr. Hutchinson. Grateful to get an immediate appointment and panicked about the state of my son's mouth, I would have been happy with any old dental professional and did not expect anything close to the great pediatric dentist we have back home. Well, I have to say I was beyond thrilled with Dr. Hutchinson. She was very friendly, knowledgable, and most importantly kind and gentle with my very nervous child. She put him at ease and explained everything she was doing, and only began when he was comfortable. She x-rayed and photographed him, and reattached the broken part of the tooth. how can i describe in these few words what an amazing find we have in Dr Christine Hutchinson! my daughter went from dentist to dentist for over 10 years with nice dentists that promised everything and delivered nothing but misery and shoty work. myself i don't trust dentist any more from all the bad ones i have had in 50 years and my daughter's bad luck with dentist. out of desperation of needing yet another dentist as my daughters implants where failing from previous dentists bad work, anyway we found her via YELP and she DOES WHAT SHE SAYS SHE WILL DO, she makes sure her patients are happy, she goes the extra mile for ALL HER PATIENTS! so i have lived for 63 years the ugliest teeth because no one could come up with an idea to fix them but even more important no other dentist i trust. but Dr Hutchinson always was there for my daughter and then for two years i have been asking for her ideas on my teeth, i told her i was to old at 63 to do braces and i wouldn't tolerate the misery that braces bring as i am extremely sensitive in my mouth/teeth. finally it was time to take the plunge and put my teeth in her hands- i totally trust her! I have my temps in until Friday but they are the nicest look i have ever had, i have to learn to smile again! Friday i get my permanents and i know she will do whatever it takes to make sure all my sensitivities are addressed and i will walk out of her office with an amazing smile! just so you know how serious i am with trusting only her i drive 3-4hrs round trip for my visits! it's not easy but SHE is worth it! do your teeth a favor and go talk to her to see how she can help, she DOESN'T PRICE GOUGE like other DDS she does her best to keep price down (not cheep, just not inflated) i could of had my much of my dental work covered if i had gone to in network dentist but it's not worth the savings (even though money is tight for us right now) saving 6k just doesn't cover the years of misery that is possible (just ask my daughter). As a new client in Dr. Hutchinson's office, I have to say that I am very impressed. From the moment I entered her office, I noticed that her staff has been well trained, as everyone was very helpful and friendly, but still remained very professional. I was also very impressed with Dr. Hutchinson as a dentist, as she has a very professional demeanor, she performed a very thorough and thoughtful examination, and most of all, her report of findings made it clear that her dental knowledge is much greater than most dentists, as she explained my problem in a way that none of my prior dentists ever had. My problem is pretty severe, so Dr. Hutchinson referred me to a great periodontist, with whom she's had follow up consultations regarding my treatment plan. So after she reviewed with me all of my options, we have agreed to a treatment plan and I feel very comfortable in moving forward with care that I've been afraid of and have put off for years. I will definitely encourage all of my family, as well as my coworkers and patients (I am a Chiropractor) to seek dental care with Dr. Hutchinson, as she clearly cares about her patients. read more
