On December 10th, I had an appointment, but when I arrived, they told me they couldn't see it in their system. They apologized and scheduled a new appointment for December 17th at 3 PM. One day before that appointment, they called and asked to change the time to 9 AM. I agreed. When I arrived on December 17th at 9 AM, they told me they couldn't see my appointment because their system was still showing the one from December 10th -- the same appointment they had already said didn't exist. As a result, they canceled again and told me to make a new appointment. This is extremely unprofessional. I had to stop working twice for these appointments, and I am still dealing with tooth pain. It feels like they overbook appointments and then make excuses when things go wrong, without caring about the patient's time or health. Very frustrating experience. read more

I love my dentist Dr Karina Palillo! She pays close attention and talks you through everything. She's well educated and very professional. She does the best teeth cleanings and annual check ups. Literally, I've never had a better dentist. She also pulled some teeth of mine a few years back and literally didn't feel the same completely painless. I thought I had found a great dentist. Welp. I was wrong. I had a cleaning where everything was fine and was provided with a document that had my insurance coverage and what the charges would be and made an appointment. Then out of the blue I was called by the dentist who told me I was wrong to think my insurance would cover what I wanted. Then she insulted me by claiming she had wasted her patients time to call me. What!? Then she said that she records all phone calls and to get a lawyer to get a copy. I am shocked by how this office handles their own phone calls. Tried this dental clinic this 2/11/25. And it was painless. Haha Called to make sure they had me on that day because most of the conversation is on text these days. The appt was on time, and they took xrays and examined what I wanted to be done. I lost my partial and so they gave me a few options. Dr. Fattahi was super cool and she explained what dental cal covers and she even mentioned to clean the teeth that are stained really badly. And my current clinic would not have suggested it. Quite sad once you realize the other dentist didn't even pay attention. So they put general lidocaine for pain since it was kind of like getting a filling but simply cleaning it and my teeth did need this. Dr.Pallilo her associate did the procedure of filling the right side and so painless not that I did not feel anything but her assistant did their best to make me feel absolutely comfy. I am definitely coming back to them as I have not felt this trust in awhile. After having had such no luck the last few years if you ever need much more work on your teeth. They are capable of it. Thank you. Office space is next to a women's club and parking out back or on street. Facilities are super clean. Definitely coming back to this clinic! My family has been going to Del Dental for years and God forbid they no longer take my insurance, I'll remain a loyal patient and just pay out of pocket. They treat you like family and make going to the dentist easy. Even the Dr's are fun and relatable. Would not recommend this dental office. Took my mother there for a dental examination regarding a medical clearance form for heart procedure. X-rays and examination was performed and the dentist stated that my mom had "posible" bacteria on the bone where her teeth adjoin to the bone. I believe everyone has bacteria in their mouth, but she continued to recommend 2 extractions and cavity work. Didn't seem to care what the purpose of the visit was. Wanted to extract the teeth right there and appeared to care less that my mom is terrified of dentist. Staff and dentist were courteous and pleasant, but was kind of difficult to obtain copies of the X-rays for a second opinion. Calling the office will only upset you cause the automated system is horrible. Sorry just giving my honest opinion. read more

This place ripped me off. They charge me in full for Invisalign and never completed it. They wouldn't even respond to my complaint with the Better Business Bureau. This company is not reputable in my experience and I highly discourage anyone from paying for any services there. When I asked them to complete services they were rude, disrespectful and then just began to completely ignore me. I have been going to Del Dental Group since I believe 2013. I have typically seen Dr. Fattahi who is very gentle and compassionate with her treatment. I have also seen Dr. Bakke on occasion who is also very kind and great at what she does. Michael the x-ray tech has a great sense of humor and is the BEST. Sylvia at the front desk is also awesome and has always been helpful over the years. I have had dental cleanings, crowns, fillings, and referral for a root canal in the past all from Del Dental and cannot complain. They even offered me complimentary laughing gas one time during my crown procedure. I don't believe any of the bad reviews on here. Del Dental has always been honest and upfront about charges and the warranty on the work they provide. I have always known a crown or filling is guaranteed for up to a year. After that it is wear and tear and sometimes crowns can just fall off. I had a crown fall off one time and thankfully it was in the one year time frame and was taken care of right away. Dr. Fattahi works hard and so does her team. I have referred several people to her office that have become patients. I have been going to Del Dental Group for years. They're the only dentist my 13 year old son has ever had. I really like Del. First off, the front desk staff. They are so professional and always do a great job of scheduling and rescheduling the best they can. I wish I knew all their names, but honestly, both of them are great! They always greet with a smile, even when they are busy. Sylvia, the officer manager, is great. She knows what she is going and always does her best to accommodate. If I ever have an issue with billing or need to know what is covered, she doesn't dodge the questions and just tell me to call insurance. She actually walks me through it and explains it herself. She is even willing to call insurance sometimes with me, if she has time. She's probably my favorite person there to be honest. All the dentist there are great. Between me and my son, I have been treated by all of them. Dr. Zarrinnam is truly awesome. She is mild-mannered and informative. She has a great bedside manner. Very serious and concentrates but is also a good listener, with patience. Highly recommend. My son recently saw Dr. Gong. I was very impressed with his knowledge. He asked all the right questions to my son about his dental hygiene and offered great suggestions on maintaining good oral hygiene. He is very good with kids, and I can imagine, with adults too. Obviously knows his stuff. Excellent office, excellent equipment. Very relaxed setting. I enjoy taking off work to come here to basically relax. Very "Zen-like" atmosphere overall. Trust me, if I had anything bad to say, I would do so without hesitation. I have been coming here for years. I would not consider any other office at this time. I've been here a couple times since it's nearby and takes my insurance. Each time, they finally called me in 30 minutes after my appointment time and I sit in the dental chair another 30 minutes or so until the dentist finally comes in. The cleanings aren't very thorough and overall I'm just not very impressed with this place. I got a text that I'm due for a cleaning again and they aren't booking until November. I like the female dentist (young blonde.) She does the standard twice-a-year cleaning procedures skillfully and fairly quickly, but what I like is that I get good advice but not a sales pitch, which has been the case with another dentist there, and many other dental offices. I've been going to Del Dental for years and have referred a ton of friends, and even family, to this dentist but recently had a horrible experience that will deter me from ever sending anyone their way. My wife recently had a filling come out, after about three years, so we contacted Del Dental to have them fix the issue. She visited the office and was informed that she would have to pay to have the filing replaced. I informed them that it sounded a little unreasonable to have a filling replaced, only after a few years, and I would expect it to last a lot longer. The "office manager" informed me that they only were willing to guarantee a filling for 1 year. I then informed the "office manager" that I sent another person to their office and that person had a similar issue with a cap falling out. My other referral contacted their office and informed them of the issue but they were also unwilling to fix it. I don't know what has happened to this dentist. I always had a great experience but am really disappointed to see how they are treating their customers/ my referrals. I will not refer anyone to this dentist ever again! read more

I'm basing my review on COVID times. I came in for a teeth cleaning procedure. Be ready to wait for a LONG time before they get you in. I had an appointment at 2:00pm and I got there right on time. They ask you to text the office once you arrive to avoid too many people in the office (which is totally understandable). Once it's safe, they will ask you to come in to grab some forms to fill out, you will have to fill these out outside the office (in a little waiting patio or in your car). Upon completing my forms, I had to text them again to let them know I filled out my forms. I did. They responded and let me in so I could give them the forms and then they asked me to wait outside or in my car once again until they're ready to actually have me in. I gave them my forms around 2:15pm. It is now almost 3pm and I still haven't gotten a text to go in. It just seems odd that I would have to wait for over an hour after my actual appointment time to be seen. If you really want to book this place, and you have to take time off of work, I recommend AT LEAST blocking off 2-3 hours in your calendar just for a teeth cleaning. read more

Recently I went to replace one front tooth veneer that was fractured and Dr. Bakke gave me a new veneer of a color that doesn't match the rest of my teeth. It took 7 appointments and more than two months for what usually takes two weeks. After many trials and errors the final result is a tooth that is the wrong color, it doesn't match the rest of my teeth. The doctors instead of taking responsibility and fix their wrongdoing proceeded to shame me because the rest of my teeth are, in their opinion, in bad condition. I went to treat one tooth and now they suggest I change 5 teeth adjacent to the one they replaced so they can match! I shouldn't be surprised because they always try to upsell. In the mean time they refuse to admit that the new veneer is the wrong color. All I wanted is to fix one tooth. I paid to get a new veneer but what I received was not what I was promised and of inferior quality. The provider is defensive and denying my allegations. As you can see in the picture my tooth is different from the others so they can talk all they want but their mistake is obvious. I strongly advise against seeking treatment here. read more

I've been going to this place for years, but took a little break during the pandemic. I was a little nervous to come back with COVID still being so scary right now, but they took every precaution to help patients feel safe. They had lots of cleaning protocols, mask requirements, social distancing and they kept the appointment fairly short. Every single person on the staff that I worked with was as friendly and caring as ever. Anna at the front desk was so welcoming and helpful, the assistant Gloria was wonderful, the hygienist Angie was careful and precise, and Dr. Bakke was an awesome combination of smart as hell and super fun/goofy. read more

The worst experience ever. I went there years ago to do the X-ray cleaning and exam, the receptionist was so disrespectful during that time and the doctor was just take a look at my X-ray and says my tooth is so healthy and I am good to go. I had to remind her that I paid the cleaning and she was reluctantly to stray 'clean' manually by using small tools instead of cleaning machine. There's no doubt that my teeth and gum got hurt because of her manual cleaning. I had no idea how the process supposed to be as I was a foreign student by that time here. But looking back to this experience. I have to write this down to help other people get an idea of this place. FRAUDULENT DENTIST. Coming from Europe, insecure about how the insurance works here, they scammed me. I had to pay 1500 dollars, because they claimed(untrue) my insurance did not cover my treatment for a crown. SO DO NOT GO THERE. On google review there are 5 more complaints about their money scamming.When they think they can get away with it they will bill you far to much and probably double bill the insurance too. read more

I love this place! They got me in quickly even though I was late. Everyone, from the receptionist to the dentist herself, was cheerful and professional. I got a real cleaning, unlike at the last two dentists I went to, and they didn't try to upsell me. **Warning: Attitude issue & maybe technical incompatibility.** Despite waiting close to an hour WITH an appointment, I thought I found a good dental clinic for an ongoing root canal/crown issue because the clinic & Dr Fattahi said they can give me a new crown. She suggested that I re-check with an endodontist who recommended a second root canal. I felt good about the 2nd root canal, but l was not informed about the risks of a second root canal. Dr Kim, also pleasant, took over to put a crown in place, but the temporary crown came off twice, requiring 2 separate additional office visits, although Mike is a friendly assistant. Then the final crown came with a very flat top surface. The tooth was small to begin with, so Dr Kim shaved part of my upper tooth to accommodate for the crown on the complimentary tooth. Now the upper tooth has become overly sensitive & will need another root canal because the dentists just didn't take precaution. This is not only an additional expense, but a new issue I never had to begin with! Besides, The local anaesthesia was very poorly administered, my jaws were hurting for over 48 hours. And food was getting stuck again In the same places as before AND the clinic completely missed a big gaping hole that needed to be filled. When I went back, Dr Fattehi showed a patronising & condescending attitude towards my pain, about filling, food sticking, inability to floss (because the filling was way too tight) & the uncovered cavity filling. I had to change my dentist & after a couple of consultations I'm told that this office has done a really poor job of the crown! What a mess! After my visit here, I now have a new issue that will mostly result in another root canal &!mounting expenses. Technical issues happen, but to not take accountability & instead showing a patronising attitude towards reasonable patients is just unacceptable. read more

I read the other low rated posts and suspect this dentist is writing her own 4/5 star reviews. I agree you'd walk out and the price would double. These folks have been selling us expensive work we didn't need for a decade. We were getting suspicious in recent years. We never had less than a half hour wait in the lobby. We have a new dentist, suspicions confirmed: My 4 year old daughter had a filling put in by Del and our new dentist couldn't believe a filling for a cavity that minor in a baby tooth. My wife just found out she needs a root canal under a tooth that Del put a crown on a year ago. New dentist said the crown was an expensive and terribly done crown. Stay away! New dentist found 3 minor cavities in my three year old son's teeth and said, let's wait until the next visit and see...no call for fillings right now. This practice is SKETCHY! I read a few reviews before going that mentioned unexpected charges and up-sells and didn't want to believe them, but man, were they right. I had a full dental exam and cleaning here and the overall experience started off fine. The staff were friendly. The waiting area was nice. The exam room was a little dated and didn't feel exactly as clean as it should, but it's LA so I didn't think much of it. As I was leaving, I was told there would be a $100 charge for a completely unnecessary 3D scan of my mouth that was taken. This charge was not communicated to me before the scan and I was never given an option to have the scan or not. I didn't even know what was going on when they were doing it. I questioned the charge and the woman at the desk went to talk with the owner of the practice and came back to tell me I was all set and didn't have to pay because it was a "new procedure". This left me a little skeptical that the charge wasn't real in the first place. Fast forward to a few weeks later, where I am trying to have my x rays sent to my new dentist because I had a bad feeling about this place. I had to call twice just to get the release form emailed to me, and a third time to have my x rays sent. This alone is annoying enough, but then they go on to tell me that there is a $25 charge for a copy of my records. Why am I only hearing of this after talking to someone 3 times? I spoke with the manager, who immediately waived the fee saying it was a "new process" that had begun in the two weeks since I first requested the transfer. BULLSH*T. Not to mention, whoever initially answered my phone call was incompetent enough to require me to spell my simple, 5-letter last name for her 3 times and still look up my record incorrectly. After several minutes, she was not even able to find my email because their system gets "backed up". In the end, I paid nothing for my visit or my record transfer but am fully convinced that this place is extremely shady. The incompetence of the staff makes me question the skill level of the dentist and hygienists, too. Stay away if you can. If they're asking you for money unexpectedly, simply questioning the charge seems to get them to back down and "waive it". read more

I saw 2 other dentists and there filler build up cost was 450 to 500. Del Dental explain what crown the insurance company cover. I appreciate Del Dental honest practice. read more
