I will make this short and sweet. I had a small inch long dent on my fender. Thought about leaving it there, unless more damage appeared. It drove me crazy when I washed my car though. After getting several bids from as far away as San Marcos, Dentworks was by far the best deal BY A LOT! I dropped my BMW off and within 2 days it was done perfectly. They are very nice and local family owned. They drove me to pick up my rent car and did some last minute repairs on the rent car after my garage door came crashing down on it due to a broken opener belt (another long story- Liftmaster is the best! Lifetime warranty on parts). They also told me that I had a lifetime warranty for door dings since I had the hail damage fixed there. I have taken many cars there over many years and have had nothing but good experiences there. When we had our 2014 Outlander Sport, I had rather clumsily dropped our 30-gallon (empty) camping water jug on one plane of the rear driver side quarter panel. Not something to easily replace without cutting weld points or body filling --- in the traditional body repair way of fixin' stuff. I swear, it feels like cars are made of tin foil these days. Thane came through and did his magic in all of 10 minutes. ... I'm sure he took a piss break as well in that long wait I had checking my emails on my phone. ... and picking off dirt from under my fingernails. That was 2014. A few weeks ago, we had the '15 Sport for ONE DAY in December and a light hail storm decides to fall on this part of town as the brand new car was sitting in the driveway. two guesses as to what it looked like. Took it in for Trey and Thane to look at and... well... yeah, tin foil. Putting that car to the light definitely reveals so much more than what the eye can see in regular daylight. In stark (sad) contrast, neither our '04 Suzuki nor the '09 Eclipse parked out at the time had ANY damage whatsoever. None that I could see, at least. Sad, yet good I guess? So, we're waiting on USAA to get their @$$ in gear (which is unusual)... and these guys are definitely doing the job. Total pros. I think the reviews say it all. After taking my car to three different places, I read reviews about Dentworks. Well, I decided to take the drive from Georgetown to his place on Burnet Road and I'm so glad I did. I talked to Trey Pool who owns the business about whether it could be repaired. He is a gentle giant and a master at fixing dents. When I picked up the car, the actual price was less than the estimate and I did not have to replace the lift gate, as everyone else told me I would have to do. Since the repair was less than my deductible, I saved money, time and frustration with having to deal with the insurance company and be without my car for a week. I couldn't have asked for better service, price, or quality. My experience matches everyone elses' here. I dropped something on my car putting a small dent in the front panel...of course, while trying to fix something else on the car. I made the mistake of trying to pop the dent out myself, but in short, I only made it much worse. Sure, it was definitely a first-world problem, but it was gnawing at me since I'd stupidly caused it myself...and then that I had just made it worse. Trey was kind and professional and totally erased the original damage, and my poor attempts at fixing it myself. These guys are magicians. I had an expensive individual color BMW 750i that got a dent in the quarter panel. Three different "experts" would not touch it for fear of damaging the paint finish. Thane had no hesitation in taking on the job and did a great job of making the imperfection disappear without affecting the paint finish. Prelude: park downtown, door ding, blank stare of feigned ignorance from responsible party... I was assisted by Thane for the estimate and the actual labor. He gave me an upfront, detailed description of the complexities involved with my particular dent at the time of estimate, long before any work. There was nothing but honesty from beginning to end. I was invited to stay and watch if I was interested (the garage is nicely windowed), though I opted not to. The work went quickly -- the duration perhaps a bit over an hour -- and I received a call to fill me in afterward. Thane gave me an account of exactly how the process was undertaken. He was vocally dissatisfied with the outcome (labeling it "maybe 80%") and, without any prompting on my part, waived the service fee entirely. I'd say his appraisal is wholly accurate. In summary: you can safely expect good, peerlessly honest service and rest easily knowing that Dentworks strives for no less than perfection. Highly recommended! read more

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! This is the second time I have taken my car into Dentworks and I have been more than satisfied both times. The first time, about a year ago, a group of neighborhood kids threw a ball into the trunk of my car and put about a golf ball-size dent in the trunk of my car. I took it to Dentworks and they fixed it for a reasonable price within 2 hours and I couldn't tell! Awesome! The second time, I took my car in this morning to Dentworks (hopefully it will be my last time) because I accidently backed my car into a mailbox - my fault this time! Trey originally quoted me $200.00 to repair which I was totally comfortable with paying. When I picked up my car he told me he would only charge $100.00 and that body shop people would probably have charged me $2,000.00. I told him I was willing to pay the $200.00 he originally quoted me, but he refused, only taking $100.00. What a nice, honest guy! I truly appreciate people like him! This is a five star review for someone who didn't take my business, and I will strongly refer for a long time. Let me explain. I have a very nice dent on my passenger door. It is the kind that makes you proud. Real character and vigor. You either want to feel bad for me, or wonder what kind of demolition derby I have been part of. I took it into dentworks ready to just write a check and get the stress off my mind. Trey came out to look it over, give his advice, look everything over, and pay his respects for my horrible dented door. He told me two things. First, he explained exactly what he could do and what he couldn't do. He wanted me to know that he would do his best, but that this narly dent was hardcore. He said exactly what parts he would fix, and that the whole thing would be o.k. He states, "You will have a hard time noticing" (I'm paraphrasing here). I asked, "Will others notice, or will I notice because I know it is there?" He then did something I have never had a car guy do for me before. He admitted.... I may need to go to a collision center that does full body work. Basically he said he could do something for me at a good price, that would be great work; but mine was f-ed to the 8th degree, and I may want to call my insurance and get the fancy smancy service. He then went and got his buffing equipment, and spent a good 5 minutes buffing all my scratches and smudges out from the area... just to show me that I didn't need to worry about that aspect. FOR FREE. He did this just to make me feel better. I then tried to talk him out of everything. I asked every question I could to try and get him to say, "I will fix this for you the best for the best price." He still told me that he would do a great job for a great price, but for my extensive problem I should visit a full body center. This is now my favorite business I never gave money too. Trey gave me complete customer service; he helped me, he made my car look a bit better, and he advised me on other options to check out before I settled on him. I honestly believe, that had I left it with him he would have done a great job and I would have been 99% satisfied. My damage was just so severe I need my insurance to be involved, and he wasn't afraid to turn away a bit of business to help out a person he never met. For that, I say this is one of those place you are just lucky to go to. If I have another problem, this is where I will go. I strongly recommend you visiting here. Trey is one of the few honest helpful owners and workers out there that cares more about helping you then making money off you. My almost brand new Infiniti G37 got a nasty dent on its front fender in the wheel well area. Still I was hopeful that maybe Dentworks could fix it - I don't want to go through the nightmare of auto body repair/paint unless absolutely necessary, you know? I called Dentworks this morning at nine, Trey said "sure, bring it by and I'll have a look." No haughtiness of making an appointment, etc. I brought the car to him 30 minutes later and he immediately came outside to check it out. He told me that, sadly, the dent is too deep to repair, but he explained exactly why and also recommended a nearby auto body repair/paint shop to fix the car. I was very impressed with the prompt service and honest assessment of damage, and the repair shop he recommended was also great so far - I'll post my review on them once they return my car to me! I bought a new truck three months ago. It was my first new car purchase ever. Last weekend, I had an encounter with a tree stump. I lost. It left an 18" creased indention and deep scratch on the bottom of the front passenger door. Upon inspection, I did not believe this could be repaired without taking it to a body shop, renting a car, etc. My buddy told me to at least call these guys. I took the truck up there two days ago. Thane met me up front and walked out to the truck with me. He noted the scratch was pretty deep and that there was some dirt in there. He was up front that he would not be able to repair the scratch, but would buff it and try to clean it to make it less noticeable. He also stated he thought he could significantly improve the dent/crease, though he was unsure whether he could get it back to normal. He quoted me $200, so I scheduled an appointment for yesterday. I was very skeptical, and prepared for this to fail. I dropped the truck off yesterday morning around 10:00. Thane called me at 4:15 to let me know they were done..... These guys COMPLETELY removed this dent. I wish I had taken photos before the repair so you could all see how bad it was. As far as I can tell, the dent is completely gone without a trace, save and except for the scratch, which Thane clearly stated from the outset he could not remove from. However, they buffed the scratch and removed the dirt, and it is significantly less noticeable than it was before. I would absolutely do business with these guys again, and highly recommend you at least give them a chance before taking your car to a traditional body shop for dent repair. Solid 5 stars. read more

I went here at the recommendation of a friend to repair a large dent to the rear of my car. I went for a quick quote and was planning to be in and out, so I parked in front of the garage, which was closed, because there were no other spots. One of the men came out to assess the damage and informed me their business doesn't handle bumpers -- that's fine, no problem there, I didn't realize. He told me he would get me the name of someone who could help me. Meanwhile, another guy says, "you've got hail damage, we can do that" and then walked away. I guess he didn't expect me to come back inside, so when I did, I overhear him in the back saying (with some attitude) to another guy, "she wants her bumper done here but not her hail damage." The original guy I spoke with cut him off and started asking him about another job, I'm assuming so he wouldn't say anything else about me in earshot, but he then starts complaining about how I blocked him in so he can't pull out the truck they're talking about. He looked a little surprised and (maybe?) embarrassed when he finally emerged from the back to see me standing there. I was pretty shocked about all this considering all of the 5 star reviews I see on here. Yep, I've got some hail damage and a ton of other cosmetic issues with my car that's 10 years old. I'm a graduate student and have to take care of things one at a time... Hail damage on the top of my car where it's not really visible is low on my priority list. Eventually, I plan to have all that work done, but for now, I can't afford it. But after this little exchange, I definitely won't be back to Dentworks to have it taken care of once I can finally afford it. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because I can't actually speak to their work since I didn't have anything done and because of the fact that the original guy did try to help me out by referring me to someone. UPDATE 8/19/16 Trey, the owner who helped me originally, saw my review and would like to make things right. The man who insulted me was a contract worker and Trey has assured me he won't be working with him anymore. I appreciate the effort and have updated my rating to reflect this.
