    Tomato with sticker
    Jen K.

Food is edible. However, ratings are inflated and we were deeply disappointed. Bread rolls were hard for a Sunday afternoon and deli meat was basic. What sent me over the edge was I ordered a sandwich for my daughter and a slice of tomato fell out with the sticker on the skin! Disgusting.

I stopped here on my way back from Bash Bish falls yesterday. The seating and artistic walls on the outside caught my eye. I parked across the street and walked over the crosswalk. It's not huge inside but it's packed to the gills with everything you might need for camping and I mean EVERYTHING!! Bug spray, blow up mattress, sleeping bags, a zillion different kinds of popcorn, craft beer selection is amazing and tons of old time cream sodas in the bottle. Freezer section with ice cream, pizza, wings etc. They have a small menu of deli items too. I got "The Ticket". She asked "bun, wrap or roll?" I choose the roll. It was deli turkey, avocado, lettuce, tomato, cheese and bacon. It was pretty good although I'm always a little bit disappointed when it's not real turkey. I saw that someone else wrote that they had free wifi. I tried to connect when I was there there as my phone had zero service in the area but you must need to ask them for a password as I couldn't automatically connect. All in all it's a great little camping store and right next to an amazing rail trail!

Stopped in while my boyfriend and I were camping across the street last week. They had already sold out of the cinnamon bread that I read so many great reviews about so we were a little bummed but were informed that more was being made and would be ready a little later in the day. The staff was super helpful and friendly that we had no problem coming back later. That bread was absolutely worth the wait. If you are fortunate enough like us to get it right out of the oven it's truly amazing. The last few piece were however quite tasty reheated the next morning over our campfire for breakfast as well. The store itself is like a little grocery store with everything you could possibly need for camping adventures. And with friendly people working it I would absolute recommend this place to anyone. :)

My boyfriend and I visited Hudson for the weekend and made a trip to Bish Bash falls, 30 minutes outside of Hudson. On our way back to we stopped in to Depot Deli for a cold beer and snack. The owner greeted us upon entry and was super friendly helping us pick out The best Coastal Maine popcorn flavor. The deli is equipped with a nice selection of beer and snacks and the service was excellent. If you are in the area I highly suggest dropping in and sharing a beer and/or snack on the patio. Depot deli is quaint and a quintessential staple of the Hudson valley. Ps. the maple sriracha popcorn is killer!

The amazing cinnamon pull apart bread

Just came back from a great camping weekend with friends at copake falls. Stopped at Depot Deli, which is conveniently right across the street. Great place to pick up snack items and a quick and inexpensive lunch. But the real hidden gem of this place, aside from the wonderfully hospitable employees, is the delicious cinnamon pull apart bread. It was sitting in a case with a note in front of it "this is what God eats for breakfast." Naturally this peaked my interest. So I purchased a whole loaf ($5) to see if this stuff is as good as advertised. I was not disappointed. This bread is incredibly soft, moist and delicious. I could've easily had several loaves in one sitting. Shared it with my friends and we were all raving about it. Amazing. I highly recommend this quaint and friendly place as a stop on any trip to the area.

Outrageous prices--$8 for a can of beans that cost $4 at the Hillsdale grocery store. Surly clerks.

Which brings me to my newly crowned favorite sandwich - Tongue On Rye; ask for the tip slices very lean. I even got a dependable guarantee from our server she'd provide an unforgettable tongue sandwich. In a comedic mood, I asked our server to not give me any lip! She doubled over giggling and said thank you for your honesty and THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I've been asked just Tongue with "No Lip." Despite the comedy and light hearted conversation the table for two was perfect Harry & Sally style! Watching the action, enjoying the lean tongue on rye with mustard an unforgettable delight.

Quality is still good, price and portion are askew…read more We came here as a quick sandwich bite on our way around the state. Service was good, and the ambiance is still lively. The still tastes good, with some exceptions. The frier oil seemed burnt, so the pickle chips we had just had that little bit of carbon taste on them. The pickle chips batter was very thick, and the mayo was the only respite. The sandwich, still tasty, seemed much smaller than normal, the meat still had good flavor, but the portion was lighter in comparison. The prices are also a bit high. The sandwich coming out to about 15 bucks. The bargain is very much gone now, and the portion is okay for a sandwich but pricy because of this shrinkage. Not shown are the overcooked onion rings. We returned those and the server promptly removed them from the bill. So really good customer service. I opted for a brownie for dessert, and the brownie was a disappointment. Too sugary, no flavor, gummy, and disappointingly small and thin. A detractor for sure. As a deli, it feels like it's on the decline. I know things are pricier now, but what you pay vs what you get doesn't match up. I'm hoping they pivot from this path, but right now it's no longer my go-to. It's still tasty, just pricy
