This is our 2nd stop at a Derby City Pizza; 2st in Jeffersonville and today New Albany. We had free sitting; so picked a table. Waited on very quickly and ordered some drinks. Sierra was our waitress and made a few suggestion on what another couple ordered which looks very appealing! Ordered the "The Champ" . It wasn't too long and our pizza arrived. It looked nicely prepared with topping distributed nicely. It taste was very good, not to moist, crust nicely crusted ( thin crust), the make up of the pizza was very tasty. Sierra was leaving for the day and was nice to let us know and that Michelle would be taking over. She checked on us every few minutes to make sure we didn't need anything else. All in all a nice visit and good cold drinks and a tasty pizza. Nice setting with bar and dining separate so children can eat there as well. Nicely decorated!

Went to Derby City to celebrate my son's birthday. Kylie was a great server who was very attentive and did a great job. Wednesday night is family trivia night extra bonus. Good food, cheese sticks were spot on, pizza was good not great- very little sacue- needs more.... Next will order extra. Great family restaurant in New Albany to dine in. Recommend and will be back. They also have bar and drinks.

Great service! I highly recommend the garlic cheese sticks! The pizza is a super thin crust, which isn't my fave. That's just a preference deal, not anything against their pizza. Service was prompt and attentive!

Chicken and pineapple pizza...$3.75 per topping

SERVICE - QUICK Ambiance is a small sports bar with high tops and low tops. FOOD - Crust is extra thin, sauce is sparse and we liked that. The cut is in weird squares and the problem tonight was one of our $3.75 toppings. Not all toppings are created equal but that is a discussion for another time. Our chicken was dark, at least 80% of it was and sure looked like sub par chicken. I was told first, that is just how it cooked and next ask to same person in front of waitress I was told it not what we normally serve and it is a GFS alternative. Then don't accept it off the truck and sure don't charge us $3.75 for some alternative when you expect white meat. Ugh, thanks Gordon Food Service and shame on you not taking it off my bill. No I won't ask , that is your expectation to set and make it right.

The pizza we got was a large cheese and I got the eight dollar giant, slice and fountain soda. The girls cheese pizza was $16. The pizza was ready in about 11 minutes. We see it ourselves, and he brought it to us. Eat the pizza in the back corner. It's a very small area to eat and died in. But it was comfortable and we enjoyed our food.

My family and I made the trip from Lousiville to dine at Thai establishment. It is smallish on the inside. You walk up and order at the counter. They have a small sitting kitchen bar in front of the counter for people to eat real quick or wait for there order. They also have about 3-4 small tables in a lobby area. So obviously you can dine In but the place is more geared for takeout orders. Being we made the 25 min trip from Lousiville and we are a family of 6 we commandeered the tables In the lobby and dined in. We got a 16 inch New York style pepperoni pizza to share and I personally grabbed a ham and cheese calzone with my wife getting a Cesar salad as well. Pretty reasonably priced. While order cost under $35 so not bad at all. There was a bit of a wait but the worker was very upfront and told us before we even paid "there may be a long wait tonight especially on the calzone". Which I'm ok with. I don't mind long waits as long as it communicated. So props to them for having service integrity and keeping us informed. The pizza was covered in pepperonis. It is thin we crusted which I guess makes it the New York style. The pieces we're New York style large. But they were still a decent slice. The slices were covered too to bottom with pepperonis too. My kids all loved it. I tried a slice and I will say it was pretty tasty. I was was nervous about all the pepperonis (I like pepperoni but too much is overkill for me) but it was really good and maintained and overall good flavor. My wife said her Cesar salad was good and deceptively large. She kept saying "I feel like someone keeps putting more in this bowl where I'm not looking. My calazone was just ok. Decent size portion, good breading and cheese and a nice sauce. The ham pieces they skimp a bit. They put the little ham blocks in it that you would find on a cheap salad bar platter. So that was my complaint on it. It wasn't bad but the ham made it seem cheap and generic. Would much rather prefer some baker and Cooked ham traditionally found in ham and cheese calzone. That said we still had a good experience here. As I stated the kids loved the pizza and want to come back. I'd be very willing to come back. I'd probably just stick with pizza or inquire about the type of ingredients used in the other calzone toppings.

Unfortunately, this visit the only positive was the food. It was as good as our first visit. This time, service was slow and not near as attentive as our previous visit. I ordered a beer and it was out. I asked for a "taste" of an alternate beer. Our server disappeared for quite sometime. When he finally came back, he had forgotten my beer. We then ordered and it took forever for our food to arrive. Once our food arrived everything started to smooth out. We were about half way through our meal and they opened a whole wall of overhead doors. It's 11:45 in the morning, temperature in the upper 60's and wind blowing at about 20 mph straight in the doors. ONE table asked to open the doors totally disregarding the numerous other patrons. Keep in mind the patio was open, these customers could have eaten on the patio. The wind was extremely chilly and our napkins were blowing off the table. I mentioned to our server we didn't want the doors open and we were uncomfortable. He just grinned and said "It is a little cold" and kept walking on by. About 15 minutes later he came back to our table to see if we needed anything. I once again protested the door being opened made us quite uncomfortable. This time he spoke to someone and they closed the door on our end. By this time we were about to leave. One person in our party said had they opened the door before we got our food she would have gotten up and left. A real shame they totally changed our opinion from the previous positive to a real negative this time.

I was excited to choose from the options I saw online here, until I found out they had a limited menu. And when I say limited, there were literally four options for entrees. I get doing a limited menu but surely there can be more options. If you didn't want pizza or chicken dishes, then you were out of luck The service was below par. If they are going to charge a decent amount for food (bill was 67 for two people, with one beer) then I feel like the service should meet that. One of the servers that was not ours was loud and annoying during service. Our server mentioned to us that he was sorry for the service because they were busy, when half the tables in the place were open. I'd hate to see what a full place would have been like! I hate sounding negative on a local place but if you are going to charger higher end prices then the experience should also be a bit better. I feel like Martini's in Louisville (a similar cuisine I've visited recently) had cheaper prices than this place, and was a much better experience. Not sure if I'll be in a rush to be back here
