My start in June 2014 with Eagle Energy and Bill Burnett started off wonderfully. Bill gave me a…read moregreat quote for a combination York Air Conditioning/Heat pump with a new air handler. He was able to turn around and install it very quickly with a good group of technicians and had me up and running, we had a few minor hitches but Bill was responsive and adjusted what needed to be adjusted. At one point my return air coil collapsed and he quickly had it replaced and I was back working. This past fall I went to use the heat pump which Bill highly recommended that I install as it should have been much more economical to run in the fall than my oil burner, but I quickly saw that it was not working correctly to the point it looked like the unit had burnt out and was smoking, it turned out to be steam, as a heat pump has to go through a defrost cycle every 30 minutes or so. At the same time when the unit went into defrost the heat would shut off and the vents would start blowing out cold air and now the house would get cold. A part was forgotten the air handler needed a heating coil installed so that the unit would continue to blow hot air during that defrost cycle. This is where the problem started Bill was unaware that a heat pump needed a heat coil or that my unit came without it (he did seemed to be surprised when we realized it needed this coil)either way from what I am told it is a pretty simple fix for them to do. So I call Bill and at first he responded and said he would look into it and it would be taken care of but I never heard back, I kept calling and still no response, I even called the York Headquarters who gave me the name of the Regional person who also called Bill, The Rep told me Bill would absolutely get back to me but when it did not happen and I had repeated calls to the Rep he finally agreed that Bill was not going to respond and I would have to go elsewhere as he was told from Bill that he was to busy , to this day February 6, 2015 I have yet to hear a word from him. I even tried one of his main Tech's but to no avail. NOTHING. At this point I would highly recommend anyone considering using Eagle Energy Systems and Bill Burnett to run in another direction as fast as they can. You may pay someone a little more but hopefully they will not abandon you like Bill Burnett has with me. I will be forced to find another HVAC person even though I have 5 months on my written labor warranty with Mr Burnett. On a 5 star review rating Eagle energy gets a big zero.
