I've had my second session at this salon and I'm not satisfied with the results. I purchased a Groupon and I felt compelled to write a review so clients who are purchasing per session aren't being scammed. I am doing full legs laser hair removal. During my first session I felt absolutely nothing and mentioned to the technician when I came in for my second session. Also I saw on difference on the hair growth, same hair is still on my legs. Mind you this isn't the first time I've done laser hair removal. I've been doing it since the early 2000's before it became affordable and popular! The tech increased the setting up a bit. After doing some research I've noticed she still had at a low setting. I'm a Latina with dark hair so why use a low setting is it so I can continue to purchase more sessions?! I struggle with acne scarring and after one microdermabrasion session and a couple of chemical peels, I have seen such a difference in my skin. I *really* appreciate the affordable pricing and knowledge from the estheticians (I've seen 3 different ones here and they've all been super nice/helpful!). While you may not get the "luxury spa" experience here, you're saving hundreds of dollars on services that will actually help treat your skin condition. I will note that the hours are not super convenient for working professionals and spots book up at least a month in advance, but I've learned to plan ahead! I had to wait a month for this appointment with Stacy Pipkens for a MICRODERMABRASION $60.00. No one called to tell me that she no longer works there Another esthetican did very little exfoliating...I CAN NOT see a change in my skin. I was looking forward to my microdermabrasion and coming home with red with a brightened complexion. I ENDED UP GETTING A FACIAL and she had extra time so, she gave me a mask. total 30 mins or so. I was so disappointed and I won't be going back with all the construction. No facial products are offered...4 walls. Paint on the toilet seat and door handled. When, I made the appointment I noticed that I was given another esthetician. I then had 2 appointment because they didn't correct their mistake after I mentioned it. I bought a Groupon and liked the first of three visits. For the second visit, I added a regularly priced service. I told my friend how much I liked the services and she bought a Groupon for herself and one for me. They would not let me use the gift which I understand so I decided to go for my final visit on first Groupon. I booked an appointment and again added a regularly priced service. When I arrived, the receptionist said I didn't have an appointment but I had received both email and text confirmations. It was odd. Then I was told the estithician had not arrived and they would put me w someone else. Since my first two services were with one woman, I preferred her. Suddenly she bust out of a room telling me that she didn't want to work on me. It was as if I had done something to her. She was angry and refunded me a third of the Groupon. After I left I texted her a copy of my original text setting up the appointment as I didn't understand her hostility towards me. She apologized and offered to schedule me for the service. I had cleared my name but did not want to go back to be treated so badly. It was definitively the strangest experiences with any spa I have ever had. read more
