I had bought a hackamore for my son at this store and the horse hated it from the start and bucked my 16 year old son off and stomped his head.... after an emergency room visit he checked out fine (thank God) but I needed to see if I could return the hackamore. I didn't expect them to take it back after all it had been through... but they took my situation into account and refunded my money. Just wow! Friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. Prices were amazing and for being open only a week their inventory was great including lots of different items: jewelry, clothing, tack, wallets, etc....we will be back. After she put the food in my car, I wish I would've caught her name, then She went and found a gentleman in the store that could put it in the car for me which I hadn't even thought of yet lol I didn't even have to wait a second. I forgot an item and I ran back in the store to buy it while he loaded up everything in my truck. I even bought a bag of cinnamon bars, but he didn't wanna throw those in the back of my truck so he walked around with them until I came back outside. What a nice guy! I go through at least 10 gallons of Propane per month, and always call ahead to make sure they have…read moreit and can fill my tanks. Today I called at 5:15, was told they cannot fill until 5:39, because there is only one person on the floor. I asked how late they fill tanks, and was told 6:30. So I ran home, grabbed my empty tank, and drove the 10 miles, to be told they do not fill tanks after 5:00. I do not mind stopping the refill process, just do not tell me you will, and then when I arrive tell me you will not. Now I get to drive back tomorrow, to do what should have been finished tonight. Not a happy camper! You are better than this!

Previously, I had purchased everything for my young child at this little shop when she started ridding lessons a few years ago and spent a significant amount of money.... Three stars is in all honesty, is pretty generous here.....for a few reasons unfortunately.... Still like this place, great consignment items and I like to support a small family owned businesses. But I pretty much came across an ice Queen who was working there last week and it seemed like she could have cared less if she had my business or not; which was pretty unfortunate.... Not sure of her name but she was an older woman and she did not seem happy to be there. No greeting. No offer to help me find anything. I had to ask on my own and little effort was put forward to help me and zero effort was made to make me feel welcome. I kind of have a feeling if she didn't know you and you weren't a regular customer, she could have cared less about you....Unfortunately, this is something we come across quite often in the equestrian world, it can be pretty darn clicky.... One other thing, a lot of the items that are on consignment were absolutely filthy. I'm talking years of built up horse hair, grease and dirt.. .I suggest making people wash things first before accepting them in your store for consignment. Selling used boots with crusty horse crap on the bottom of them for over a 100 bucks? I just can't go there.... I also know times are hard for all of us. It's hard to make a living, especially as a business owner. But have a little more pride you know- dust your shop, clean up the merch, at least greet your customers! I had driven down with my English saddle already and didn't want to spend a lot to meet this request so I could ride. I ended up calling Mary's Tack, who referred me to Bits Equestrian Outlet. Luckily I could go on a Wednesday when they would be open. I was shown the breast collars available and did my best guess for the one that might work. For $30 it seemed a great deal. I made my purchase and hoped fir the best. It ended up being absolutely perfect. Good fit and it went well with my over 50 year old saddle. I really love that I could find what I needed in time.
