Absolutely love this place! We come here every time we are in town. The staff is always super friendly and courteous. GiGi is absolutely the best! We had a very large group of 15 people and she was completely on top of everything and remained calm and friendly the entire time. Absolutely loved all of our food, the chicken fried steak and eggs was my personal favorite. We will be back next time. We are in town! Thank you, GiGi!

A great find after a long day of hiking. Friendly and attentive service and good value. We got the rib special, chicken fried steak and brisket. The ribs were delicious, fall off the bone. The brisket (though not fatty) was great (flavorful and not dry). The chicken fried steak was a good sized and tasty. My favorite was the ribs, then brisket then chicken fried steak. We also got an apple cinnamon roll (heated) which was a generous size and moist.

Desert Grill is a hidden gem! I ordered the brisket, mom got the fish & chips, & my kid the friend chicken sandwich. Everything was so good!! Make sure to get the hush puppies starter

I ordered the veggie wrap. The spinach was slimy , the mushrooms were old and brown! My daughter got the bbq burger and the sauce was a thick paste

I feel like maybe we ordered on a bad night after reading some of the other reviews .. we made an order to go of a cheeseburger with fries, spicy cowboy burger with fries and a kids chicken strip with fries. Good things : it's literally the only place in this town open on Sunday! And the service was fast. Only 10 minutes from the time I called until we picked it up. Things that need work: the food just wasn't good. The actual hamburger patty itself was great which means the burger has potential though. The cheeseburger was bland, I came home and added my own toppings. It literally had one very small piece of lettuce, 1 tiny tomatoes and a sprinkle of 4 diced onions on only one corner of the sandwich. The sauce was minimal and only spread on one tiny part of the burger also. The bun was soggy. There was no flavor. The fries were way undercooked. Just an overall bad meal. As mentioned, I wonder if the cook is just having a bad night or something ... My husband had the same feedback about his meal. My one year old ate her chicken strips pretty well but her fries were also way undercooked. I guess my feedback is overall pretty negative - we may possibly try this place again hoping they just had a bad night, but if it wasn't in my home town I probably would only give 1 star, so take that as you wish ...

An Oasis in the desert! What a surprise to find such a fantastic diner in Panguitch, UT of all places. It's easily overlooked but definitely worth a stop! Just North of Bryce Canyon, it's the perfect place to stop at any time of day. It's reasonably priced and very good. We were a party of 5 and we tried two different versions of the smoked brisket sandwiches, a quesadilla filled with *burnt ends and cheeses, and a crispy chicken topped salad. It was all fantastic! Our waitress Thali was attentive, gracious and helpful. She recommended a sauce she likes to make for the quesadilla when she has one herself. She made it for my daughter's quesadilla and it was AMAZING! Most of us had sides of fries which were battered maybe? Extra good in any case. The rest of us had the mashed potatoes and gravy- also really good. I saw homemade giant cinnamon rolls on the desert menu for $7 which seemed a bit steep but I wanted to try it. Because who doesn't love a good cinnamon roll? We all split one and decided it was well worth it! If you follow my reviews, you'll know that even though I live in CT, I'm from Houston, TX and I'm picky about my bbq. Thali assured me that their meats were actually smoked- (yes, I asked- we are in Utah after all). The brisket was pretty solid and the sauce was tangy. It was especially good for what it was - a bbq sandwich in Panguitch. Overall it was a terrific meal at a reasonable price with great service. We all decided that would definitely return! * Burnt ends are flavorful, intensely caramelized pieces of meat that come from the point end of a smoked brisket. They are typically considered a delicacy in barbecue culture. These crispy, tender chunks of meat are the result of slow-cooking a brisket, then cutting and re-smoking the point end to develop a rich, smoky flavor and a distinctive charred exterior. Burnt ends are often coated in a flavorful sauce and are highly regarded for their unique combination of textures and flavors.

Delicious food close to the tourist spots. This lovely bbq place is run by the nicest little family so bring your patience because good slow cooked meats take time. Call ahead for large groups and they take cash and card. So many people stop here because it's the best food for miles so sit back and relax get ready to enjoy. Tip your servers they are feeding you instead of going out to kayak, hike, or be at the balloon fest today!

The real reason you need to visit this place in sleepy Panguitch, UT is to meet Kam! Kam was so warm, personable, and made our visit memorable. 10/10 for the service. We stopped here before heading into Bryce Canyon. They have an impossible burger on their menu, and the fries were pretty solid! Cute little gift shop in the front entrance too. It was also one of the only places in the city that was open on a Sunday--so thank you for being open! Being from the Midwest, we did not know that so many places in Utah shut down on a Sunday :)

Good food and friendly and efficient service. Also the food arrived quickly and their fries are the battered ones which were amazing.

We had the brisket platter and the sampler. The brisket platter came with two sides and we picked the funeral potatoes and mac n cheese. The brisket was decent and the sampler was the star of the show! The ribs were well done and the pulled pork was exceptional. The brisket for both dishes were very dry and needed to be doused with subtantial amounts of bbq. Overall, brisket platter is not worth it but the sampler is! Service is top tier here!

Example: the Menu shows "seasoned" fries as a side and Pork Master as a Sandwich choice. Neither are still offered in Cedar City. The Online Ordering link offers quite a different list of item in comparison to the Menu link, and has very few item descriptions. Just name and price mostly. I had always ordered the Smoked Pulled Pork sandwich but the gal on the phone kept referencing a smaller pork sandwich which I didn't think I ordered but I ended up with an order for the Mini Pork Sandwich being placed for me. It was the size of a hamburger and was good. My husband usually ordered the Pork Master sandwich but that exists only on the incorrect Menu link. He ended up ordering the Smoked Brisket Melt which he said was okay. The differing links also confuse you as to what sides are offered with the entrees. When asked what side I wanted with the Pork Sandwich I was offered with only fries or tots. That was not what I thought I saw in their online order form which showed more options - several new ones and missing some of their previous offerings. I told the gal this and she agreed to give me the mashed potatoes - this time. So that sounds like they are not an option with the Mini Pork sandwich. We both ended up with mashed potatoes as the sides since we'd had poor experiences with how the sides end up after the ride home. The tater tots lose their crunch during the 10 minute ride home and arrive home soggier than you'd get in the restaurant. Pork Belly's in Cedar City had also discontinued the delicious seasoned french fry . Instead they offer plain fries which were disappointing on a prior order. The mashed potatoes needed a little salt (I'm am not a person who salts restaurant food). Maybe they had some garlic in them? They charge a 7% To Go fee. The original owners are long gone and under the new management, my husband is over ordering anything from this Pork Belly's now. Too many of the favorites that kept us coming back are gone and now only exist online in their historic Menu link. TIme to BBQ elsewhere.

They even gave us a whole bag of ice for a small injury. Our waiter was the absolute best, bringing all the energy and made us fell so comfortable. The vibes here were perfect, with a pool table right in the center. It did feel a little empty, though, with the tables all on the sides and a big empty space. The bathrooms were nice and clean with sinks outside. It isn't a vast menu, so we were able to try a little bit of everything. The portions are a good size, so be careful if you are sharing, as we may have slightly overordered. The Santa Fe Salad is a great portion, even without chicken, surprising for salad we even took some home. It was completely packed and flavorful. We also got the Mac N Cheese, nothing special. The real show was with the meats. We got a full rack, and they were delicious. Nice and juicy and easy to eat. We asked for extra BBQ sauce, and it was great. This was definitely my favorite, followed by the Smoked Brisket Sandwich. This was packed to the brim, and dipped in the BBQ sauce really made it. We also got the ribeye steak; this wasn't too fat, if anything, more on the thin side. This and the ribs came with a roll and baked potato. For dessert the cherry pie was so good, it was a little pricey for a piece of pie I cannot lie but I still enjoyed.
