This was my first…read morevisit to this clinic, and honestly, there were many dogs in the waiting room some active and others more relaxed. The place is quite small, so the dogs couldn't be too close to each other or else you wait outside. My visit went well overall. The vet checked both of his ears and ruled out an ear infection, which I was even aware he had. They suggested giving him an injection and doing an ear flush at the clinic, while I would take oral medication home. I had to stop the vet there and asked, "How much is the injection?" I felt the vet was going too fast, and I wasn't aware of the cost. He went back to the office and returned without any paper in hand, just telling me the total would be $207. I then asked how much just the injection was, and he said $27. I gladly agreed, not realizing what else was included in the invoice. When they called me to pay, no invoice was provided. I was asked to pay on the spot. After that then I received the invoice and saw two medications that could have been bought at the pharmacy with coupons. I checked GoodRx and found I could have paid only $13 for both medications, instead of $62.10 at the clinic. I called the clinic to ask if they could provide a paper prescription, and the clerk confirmed they could. However, she mentioned I was supposed to ask for it beforehand. I explained that I told the vet I wanted the injection and only received the cost estimate. The clerk also said they cannot refund or reimburse any costs and advised me to ask for the prescription next time and hoping that I understood. I want to share this experience to advise others: avoid buying medications directly from the clinic, as they are often triple the price. Instead, create an account with GoodRx or a similar service to save a lot of money. I've learned my lesson be cautious and don't agree too quickly. I wish clinics were more transparent about costs and ensured that prescriptions are provided in writing to help you save money. Gave two stars because the injection was cheaper than I though and never knew that could help with my dog's allergies

I only knew it was given when my invoice was much higher than usual. $42.00 each for two cats. When I said I didn't think we got them, I was told it was combined with the RCPC. (I thought they stopped doing that years ago.?!) I said I hadn't requested it and I never get it for my cats, I was told by Shelby, "oh, that's my fault." Thank you for accepting responsibility, but that doesn't help that my cats got something I didn't want them to have and I'm out $84. I'll be looking for someone who specializes in cats. For some reason, the vet spends more time with dogs. Does he just not care for cats?

Called at 8:00 am sharp and left a message for the doc for more med or additional help. NO RETURN CALL. I did leave in my message that my cat was in pain. By the end of the day STILL NO CALL. Took Bella to Emergency in severe pain , determined possible nerve issue. Due to many obstacles for care at that point we chose to euthanize her. Following Monday, still NO CALL FROM Dr. Collins. This shows lack of concern for her patients. I get it, Saturday's they are only there until 1:00. STILL a quick return call suggesting emergency would have been the right thing to do if a caring Vet. Therefore, DO NOT USE HER.

He spoke at length about how busy his schedule was, mentioned the moon in retrograde, and suggested my list of concerns was simply because I had waited so long. During the exam, my dog was nervous and we were settled on the floor. Instead of meeting us there, the vet requested we move to the examination table and applied a muzzle, which visibly increased the tension. He also made extended, speculative assumptions about my dog's past history with men after I shared a brief note about his behavior at home. ​At checkout, there was a miscommunication regarding billing. The vet had stated that a deferred follow-up appointment for my other dog would only incur a technician fee. The receptionist disagreed with this and declined my request to verify the information with the doctor. ​Ultimately, the clinic's communication, pacing, and handling methods were not a good fit for my dog's needs. We have since found a practice that offers a calmer, more attentive experience.

His immune system was already taxed and he's been rapidly going down hill since. She actually refused to give me any vaccine information and I believe in my soul she actually misled me to the type of vaccine he received. He nearly died a few days later. He was not a candidate. He needed care and attention, and instead was received coldly and cruelly. It was an absolutely disconnected and strange experience. It left my friend and I horrified. This place is a money hustle and their new young vet lacked kindness and empathy. It was a dark experience. We have since found a lovely vet to assist with his recovery, who is cordial and kind... and most of all puts us all at ease. Encanto, you may want to make sure your Vets actually like animals or can at least pretend to care about each animal without bias or judgement: I'd give this place a 0 for medical care, however, the front desk staff has always been kind and accommodating. Suggestion: perhaps don't make threats to a loving pet owner with a senior dog they love with their whole soul, in a crisis. Just start there.
