And when you're really overdue for a cleaning, those horror stories have a way causing unnecessary anxiety. So, I went to my trusty Yelp app to search for a local dentist and found Pyramid Family Dental. After reading the reviews, I decided to suck it up and give them a try. My first visit included xrays, pictures, and a comprehensive dental plan. I knew what to expect and what the cost would be. Everyone was SO NICE. No judgment, no sarcasm, no rudeness. Just a nice group of people that thank you for choosing them and then do everything they can to make you comfortable. I have now been to Pyramid Family Dental four times and it's safe to say that their kindness and professionalism isn't a fluke. They are just awesome! What really solidified the 5 stars is what I DON'T hear them do. Let me explain - there are so many establishments that don't realize that their patrons can hear what is happening at the desk. So every comment or remark they may utter about a customer can many times be heard by a separate customer. While in one of the rooms, I can hear almost everything that the front desk staff is saying and I have never heard anything unbecoming. My poor son had to go through several ok dentists before finding this office. My son and husband go here and really like the office. I have brought my son here for several appointments. As a matter of fact, the front office was so kind and professional that I decided to try it for myself. I am so glad I did. I am beyond pleased with the dental hygienist and Margaret Heinen. I called several dentists and they could not see me for more than a week. Dr. Vaughn was the fifth dentist on my list and they were willing to squeeze me in the Tuesday after the holiday, but said they would try to get me in sooner. On Thursday morning, I got a call. They had an appointment for me first thing Friday. Woopee! They have a large, clean practice. Dr. Vaughn saw me, examined the tooth to make sure it could still support the crown (it could) and recemented it. He passed my 'dentist criteria', so I made an appointment to come back for an exam and cleaning. The first available appointment was in early November, but they said they would call me if they had an opening. As it turned out, they were able to move up my appointment to late August. At this visit, they took a full set of digital x-rays, Dr. Vaughn gave me a full examination (no problems thanks to my prior dentist, Dr. R. Lapcevic) and then my teeth were cleaned. The cleaning as good. The hygenist was thorough, but gentle! Both Dr. Vaughn and the hygenist were very personable and answered all my questions. I think I have lucked out and found a good dentist.

They told me that they could bill the secondary after the primary insurance decided what they would cover. The office manager never billed my secondary, she would constantly call and text to get me to pay the difference. After three visits of "you owe us money" because they didn't bill my secondary, I was done. Cindy is very rude and snooty. She even told my husband that I still owed them $130 from a "really long time ago" when it's actually on $37. Even the voicemail saying "we've waited a long time for this" is outrageous to me. You didn't bill my insurance, you tried to get money out of ME instead.

They drilled her teeth down so much that her new dentist has said she basically has no tooth left to hold onto the fillings that Floss Dental put on her teeth. They all fell out less than a month after Floss Dental did them. Pitiful care and something that should last her a lifetime is now ruined because of them. Pathetic! Think twice before trusting them with the care of your teeth.

They don't really know what insurance will pay. i would have never had the work done if they had not assured me that it was covered by insurance. when i tried to talk to them about it they where very indifferent, and have now taken me to collections even though I payed on the bill.
