Sean from Vegas Plumbing Service is the best. My Hot Water heater was making a little more noise than normal so I decided to do a much overdue drain and flush on my tank. After getting it as clean as I could, after refilling and restarted the heater, I started hearing hissing noises like water hitting a flame and it was pretty constant for about 1/2 hour, so I was worried that my tank might have sprung a leak or I did something wrong and called Vegas Plumbing Services to get their advice as I had their sticker on the side of my tank. They answered right away, no answering machines or call queue and said that they would send someone out free of charge to look at it and if anything need done they would give me a free estimate with no obligations (you don't hear that everyday or very often)! They gave me a three hour window that very same day, said they would call/text when they were on their way, all of which they did, they actually showed up in about an hour not the three it could have taken. Sean inspected my setup, let me know that the hissing was normal due to condensation hitting the flames following a flush and made suggestions, and talked and treated me respectfully not talking down to me and didn't try to sell me anything. I asked him instead, being that my tank was almost 7 years old and probably going to go soon, what a new tank and labor would be and their price was better than any others I asked, using superior products with VERY reasonable extended warranties available for yearly service (again by my asking not him trying to sell anything). I wouldn't even think of giving anyone else my business after such a pleasant experience and reasonable prices, and you can't beat free for a service call even when not repairing or selling anything. My husband came home from work as usual and things were fine. 1 hour later he walks outside to take the trash out and he SEES IT! He screams my name and i come running outside. He is shaking and so angry he can hardly speak. i calm him down and ask what the hell is going on. He points to the water heater. There is a sticker placed on our water heater that was NOT there prior to him coming home. He has to walk right passed the water heater to get inside the door. OH AND he is the general manager of a plumbing company here in vegas. so water heaters are his thing. Its a giant Vegas Plumbing Service sticker stuck on the side of our water heater! NONE knocked on our door to inform us they were going to help themselves into our garage to place this sticker. It was 100% Sneaky and a total violation of our privacy. Not only is it illegal to step foot on my property unannounced but its also ILLEGAL to tamper with a water heater. I am a stay at home mother and to think some strange service man walked uninvited into my home to attempt to gain a future client is GROSS negligence of the law. I have contacted our lawyer and submitted undeniable evidence. This is not a feud between companies. I as the wife of a plumber had no idea this company existed until this incident. Please BEWARE of leaving garages,gates,doors etc open to the public because your privacy is not a concern to all service companies in vegas. I called Vegas Plumbing Service as they were the sticker on my hot water heater when I bought the house. I woke up this week and turned on the hot water and nothing came out of the faucet and my hot water heater had been banging/thumping for months. They were super pleasant on the phone and gave me a window of time that they would be out to asses my situation. Chris L. was right on time. Not only did he help me figure out that my water pressure issue was most likely caused by my water softener system (we bypassed the tank since I wasn't even using it and the water pressure and hot water came back on immediately). I chatted a bit further about the sounds my hot water heater was making and he warned that it was caused by sediment in the tank and possibly rust and the next thing to happen would be the tank would start leaking (which I kind of knew from my online research as I had been living with this problem for months). He said it was totally up to me if I wanted to replace, but if I didn't and wanted to wait until it completely gave out, he gave me a few tips in the meantime. He guessed by the sticker on the tank that it was at least 7 years old and by the time we looked it up online, the water heater was getting close to 10 years old. How important is it to get immediate, professional, affordable service when your household includes a ninety-two-year old mother-in-law and an 85 year-old mother? Extremely! The water heater, on a Friday evening began its leak, and we began to panic. Metaphorically, we felt we were in hot water. Our twenty year + water heater had reached its breaking point. After calling Sears to get estimates, we decided to call the number on a sticker, left on the water heater by the previous home owner. Best service I have ever had from plumbers, a/c techs, handy men etc. About 4 hours ago I noticed a drip from the outside pipe that leads to the hot water heater controlled by the temp/pressure valve. There is a sticker on the hot water heater with info for the company that installed the water heater, which happens to be Vegas plumbing. The water heater was installed in 2014 and I wanted to find out if the unit was under warranty. The young lady that answered said a plumber could come to our home in Sun City Aliante within 2 hours. In somewhat disbelief, I said great, send him out. I received a text 30 minutes later that Gary would be here in about 45 minutes. In just 35 minutes Gary and his assistant, Tyson, were knocking on my door. Gary inspected the valve, said he could replace it, and he also would replace some bendable piping that attached to the valve. In 20 minutes they were done! Gary was just great. Professional, friendly, and I am absolutely amazed at the quality of service. Tyson worked right along side Gary, and together they made my problem go away. They immediately sent Gabriel who was extremely skilled plumber who replaced our hot water heater, clearly explaining what he was doing. He was there to meet our plumbing needs and not there to try and sell us on services which unfortunately is the case with many firms. When I casually mentioned that I was unhappy with our water softening system, he showed me a water filtration system that would better serve our needs. There was absolutely no hard sell or pressure to have the system installed When I decided to have the filtration system installed, Gabriel came back the next day and installed the new system. Called the phone number on the old hot water tank. They arrived in a timely manner. Anthony was wonderful! Nobody wants to pay to replace a water heater. Anthony educated me on the system and how it operates. Explained everything on what he was doing, and made me feel extremely comfortable with my purchase. He could have put a bandaid on it but we decided to replace it. My tank was 8 years old and we didn't see the point in saving it. I could've called other places and gone to a DIY store but I didn't want the hassle or have to schedule someone and wait. My water tank is located in my garage and was butted right up to a stairwell inside my house. If I waited longer to try to save money Eventually I would have damaged my interior walls and staircase. Called at 5:30am the morning I realized my Water Heater was leaking. Had a service tech at the house 3 hours later. Shawn the service tech was very professional and upfront on the costs and the estimated time of repair. The Tank was under warranty, but had to be replaced at another facility in North Las Vegas. Upon return with new tank, Shawn professionally installed the tank, replaced my used Earthquake Straps, and a few corroded connections that he recommended. Shawn went above and beyond a normal service call, and explained to me how to flush out my Water Heater Annually, to prolong replacement over the years. I noticed the water wasn't getting hot in my bathtub, so I checked my pilot light and noticed it was out. I couldn't get it started. A very friendly receptionist answered and told me my technician would be out for a no cost evaluation between 3-6pm on a SUNDAY. She called very shortly after and said he'd be here in ten minutes! I was very very impressed with the promptness and urgency of the response! My water heater died on Thursday morning and my property manager sent Vegas Plumbing Service to provide a quote. The my management company accepted to quote on Friday but no one (pm OR plumber called me back.) We called them multiple times and Friday and never got an answer. It is now SATURDAY and I've been without hot water for 3 days. We cannot bathe, wash dishes, do laundry, etc.... we called the plumber today (again) to find out when he was coming and JOHN, the guy who answered the phone was unhelpful and extremely rude. He must have thought he was something special with his smart mouth and snide comments. What a dick. Don't waste your time with these jerks. Had a great experience with this company. I called on a Saturday afternoon with my kitchen sink totally clogged and the lady told me that someone would call me in 20 min. I received a call in 15 min by Karl who was extremely polite and professional. He said he would be out within the hour and he was. He tried snaking my sink even though I told him that others had tried. He worked on it for at least two hours where he called a co worker Daniel who was just as professional. They were able to determine that I was going to need to connect to the main pipe and bypass the clogged one. Daniel made an appointment to come back on Sunday and arrived promptly. The main water line to our house sprung a leak. I have used Vegas Plumbing Service (LPS) in the past, with a different contractor; and, I didn't think it could get any better. Carl was the professional that came out. We had dug the trench and we wanted a professional to lay a completely new line. He came out. Determined that we had missed a T-fitting that would have cut off all of our landscaping and back house. Just rented a beautiful home in Peccole Ranch. Had a leaky plumbing issue. The owner contacted this service, about an hour later I received a call for same day appointment with about a 3 hour window. The quick same day service was so convenient! Jake who actually came to service the I issue was not only personable & friendly. He called me to alert me he was at the front door. Once he took a look at the issue, he was most efficient and knowledgeable, he was able to fix the issue in about a half hour. Then was very informative on letting us know of why we had the issue, how he resolved it & called the owner for further possible resolutions for any other issues. About a year ago I used Vegas Plumbing Service to install a new hot water heater. My hot water heater went out on a Sunday and they had a man to my house Immediately. The new hot water heater is great. When I bought my new Aquasana Water Filtration and Softener System Vegas Plumbing Service was who I called. They gave me a very reasonable estimate. And, Brice was here the next day. He installed the system in about four hours. I couldn't be happier with the job he did! I even asked him to put insulation tape on some outdoor pipes. My water heater finally gave out after 8 years but I was easily able to schedule an appointment with Vegas Plumbing Service for the following morning. The plumber, Jason S., was quick and courteous. He was very informative about the new heater and educated me on the routine annual maintenance that I could do myself. He cleaned up all of the corrosion on the fittings and placed a drain pan underneath the new unit. The job only took him about 2 hours which I consider fast. My dogs were certainly happy that it was over. I would highly recommend Vegas Plumbing Service. They are extremely polite and efficient. We called the plumbing service and they sent someone out immediately. The servicemen was named Miguel. Miguel answered all of my questions and was very knowledgeable. He was also very patient with me. He explained the options and how the unit would operate. Miguel explained the costs and again answered all of the questions. I was very happy with Miguel during the whole process. Miguel had an answer to all of the questions. Miguel found that one of the straps on the old unit was not installed properly and corrected that on the new unit he installed. I called on a Saturday about a pipe that blew off from the water main. Jonathan came out about 3 hrs later. He was friendly and courteous. The problem was something that was not common and he had to find a solution to repair the pipe. The parts store was not open so he had to use the existing parts. After some discussion with another colleague he came up with a fix. He finished the job in minimal time and answered all my questions and concerns. I had one minor issue but the office manager handled it professionally and to my satisfaction. Vegas Plumbing provided outstanding services to me on September 26. 2018. Matt, the technician, was very knowledgable, polite and efficient. He replaced all the water shutoff sink valves in 6 sinks which were corroding and had begun to leak. He installed a new water treatment unit which does not use salt to replace a salt based water softener. He flushed out my hot water tank and made adjustments to the original installation which improved safety..a faulty exhaust pipe and water collection pan under the water heater.
