When you first arrive, you notice a pretty large patio that I think will be lovely for half the year though be mindful they call your name for the order which you would not hear outside. There's lots of seating inside, though a Sunday at 1pm was surprisingly busy! We found a booth that was cozy in a corner. The food took roughly 30 minutes with the tandoori taking another 5-10 minutes. What We Ordered: - Butter Naan: Always love butter naan and theirs was very fresh, and perfect for dipping as the rice had cashews which I didn't realize (nut allergy). - Butter Chicken: I ordered extra spicy, but it was pretty tolerable for spice level. Likely add a little more spice if I could, but they said that was the hottest. Still had great flavor, and likely the best butter chicken I've had in Arizona. On the quest for the best Indian food as fell in love with a place in Jacksonville, but not likely work will send me back any time soon. - Chana Masala: My bestie ordered and really enjoyed at the medium spice level. I preferred the butter chicken, but still a nice side. - Chicken Tandoori (2pc): My friend ordered for some protein, and really enjoyed the lime, cilantro, mint chutney as a dipping side. I enjoyed the chicken, but detest mint. Overall, we agreed the food was worth the wait and can see why they were full of patrons. We even ran into one of my bestie's pre-k students, and they said they come here monthly since they opened. Their food is very inconsistent. Some days it's delicious and others it's not. Their chicken I've had in particular in several different dishes sometimes tastes as if it's old chicken which is off putting, makes me wonder how much of their food is actually fresh. You go up to a counter to order and even if you're eating there, all the food is served in to go containers. Today I got their chicken 65 which was very saucy, their chicken was good. I got the chicken tikka masala which tasted as if it has old chicken. The accompanying rice was very good. Got some naan to go with the curry which was good. Their masala chai tasted homemade as well. The best thing i tasted from them was the mysoore bonda which were very big and fluffy on the inside. I ordered Togo so I waited way too long, they didn't provide me with a wait time so that didn't help. Visited this new restaurant for lunch yesterday and had the masala dosa. I was immediately a fan! The dosa was the perfect texture, not too soft not overly crispy! The restaurant offers a large variety on their menu and I will definitely be back to try their other offerings. It's a simple set up, walk in order and grab a seat..first come first serve. I was in the area with some friends when they started raving about a new restaurant that had just opened a week ago. To my surprise, it turned out to be a branch of a famous Indian chain that's made its way across the U.S. -- and now, finally, to Chandler, Arizona! The place is massive, and so is the menu. The interiors are bright, quirky, and fun -- it definitely sets a lively tone for your dining experience. Their menu covers a wide range, from North Indian classics to South Indian staples, and even Indo-Chinese favorites. You can sip on Irani chai while digging into some spicy Manchurian -- it's got something for everyone. We visited around 9:30 PM, and despite the late hour and crowd, the staff were courteous and welcoming. Since it's a self-serve setup, you order at the counter and wait for your name to be called. We tried quite a few dishes -- masala dosa, rava dosa, Schezwan and Hakka noodles, garlic naan, malai kofta, gobi Manchurian, veg Manchurian, and paneer biryani. My favorites? The dosas were a standout -- huge, perfectly crispy, and served with flavorful chutneys, sambar, and curry. Their Indo-Chinese offerings were also excellent; both the noodles and Manchurian were well-spiced and delicious -- definitely on the spicier side, but we loved it. The one miss for me was the paneer biryani -- it didn't quite hit the mark, so I'd skip that next time. If you're looking to satisfy all your Indian food cravings in one place, this spot delivers. I just hope they maintain the quality and consistency -- if they do, I can see this place being a big success. Definitely my new go-to for a flavorful Indian fix! Love this place! Came here with my Indian friend, he told me this place is very famous chain in Texas and now they just opened one in Chandler, we must try! The menu's huge, and we loved everything we got- plain dosa, chai, chowrastha chicken, and idly! I love that their chai is less than $2, and it's very very good. Also dosa was huge and chutney was so flavorful. Oh and idly was soft! There are plenty of seats. Yet it takes some time for getting food, I think they cook as soon as they get order, which is great! All of our dishes were ordered at a medium spice level and the experience delivered exactly that. If you are not well-adjusted to spicy foods, I would recommend ordering your dishes mild. Everything came out hot and fresh in a timely manner. This restaurant is cafeteria-style where you order at the front and pick up the food from the counter when it is ready. I think this place recently opened and was recommended to try it out. It's a self service kinda place , pretty easy and fast moving lines. I highly recommend trying their Pani puri almost felt like trying it in India, the place can accommodate slightly larger groups as well. We were almost more than ten , and they accommodated by combining tables. If you like more flavor and you order the biryani I would recommend mentioning double Masala. Vijayawada boneless biryani was good. They are very good with packaging. You can also order to go. Eat and take the left overs as well. Biryani portions were quite big. If you're accustomed to Indian cuisine's vocabulary and spiciness, you'd probably rate your experience higher than I did. Four of us arrived for dinner, and found the menu options extremely long. Every category of food has a lot of options, but no description of the main ingredients, or how spicy the dish is, or how it's prepared. If you know what pachimirchi, bajji, uluvacharu, gongura, vijayawada, kofta, punugulu, dum, kheema, biryani, and murchi are, no problem. If not, hang out around the order desk, ask a hundred questions, and order whatever you can pronounce because others are impatiently waiting behind you.. I asked if the dish I was ordering was spicy and the answer was "not very," so I asked if it could be toned down to mild and the answer was "no." My bewildered husband asked for a dish that was mild but even then it was too spicy to eat much. The menu board is spread out overhead rather than printed (there was one copy at the order counter), and it's difficult to see it all. The music is fairly loud on one side of the restaurant, but the patio seating was quieter. Quality and quantity of the food were ok, just too spicy for our taste. read more

The food is spicy no matter what level of spice you request. Some foods are good, others are OK. The pav bhaji buns are dry and not adequately buttered. The paneer butter masala is not very rich tasting. They never take out the trash. If all you offer is disposable dishes, then someone needs to take out the trash. read more

I love the food here! I eat meat but I choose to get the mysore masala dosa almost every time. Huge dosas. I like how much variety my coworkers are able to select from here. Has not yet disappointed when a large group had a variety of eating constraints. Decently sized seat yourself, and food comes out quickly. It's always packed on weekends, but I usually go at lunchtime throughout the week. Love that there are additional sinks outside of the main restrooms to exclusively wash hands. read more

I stopped to try this place because of how crowded it was and my love for Indian food. The food did not disappoint! Food came out hot and delicious, and the service was good. It's pretty packed during dinner times or over the weekends, so plan to call ahead for to go or wait around 20 min at least for your order. The goat curry was tasty, but as the Wendy's lady would say, "where's the goat?" There were precisely 8 pieces of goat, 6 of which were pure bone. Jamta nahi! I got the curry home and then added my own 1 lbs of goat meat to make a good curry for myself the next day. For most Yanks, this would be too spicy. I visited yesterday and ordered the garlic naan and the chicken tiki marsala. Garlic naan didn't have much garlic taste. I've had better naan but when you pair with what you're eating, it tasted better. The atmosphere is very busy and chaotic customers cut in line twice in front of me while I was waiting.. no line systems set up.. unless you are familiar with the Indian cuisine and names, you will have a hard time ordering the food as it doesn't come with description of meals or pictures so you won't know what you're ordering and especially in regards to ingredients and intensity of flavors/spices. When I asked the lady who was taking my order the intensity spices she just kept saying mild. I can't eat spicy foods so luckily my meal was not spicy.
