    Schezwan noodles

I was in the area with some friends when they started raving about a new restaurant that had just opened a week ago. To my surprise, it turned out to be a branch of a famous Indian chain that's made its way across the U.S. -- and now, finally, to Chandler, Arizona! The place is massive, and so is the menu. The interiors are bright, quirky, and fun -- it definitely sets a lively tone for your dining experience. Their menu covers a wide range, from North Indian classics to South Indian staples, and even Indo-Chinese favorites. You can sip on Irani chai while digging into some spicy Manchurian -- it's got something for everyone. We visited around 9:30 PM, and despite the late hour and crowd, the staff were courteous and welcoming. Since it's a self-serve setup, you order at the counter and wait for your name to be called. We tried quite a few dishes -- masala dosa, rava dosa, Schezwan and Hakka noodles, garlic naan, malai kofta, gobi Manchurian, veg Manchurian, and paneer biryani. My favorites? The dosas were a standout -- huge, perfectly crispy, and served with flavorful chutneys, sambar, and curry. Their Indo-Chinese offerings were also excellent; both the noodles and Manchurian were well-spiced and delicious -- definitely on the spicier side, but we loved it. The one miss for me was the paneer biryani -- it didn't quite hit the mark, so I'd skip that next time. If you're looking to satisfy all your Indian food cravings in one place, this spot delivers. I just hope they maintain the quality and consistency -- if they do, I can see this place being a big success. Definitely my new go-to for a flavorful Indian fix! One tip: I'd really recommend avoiding plastic containers for hot food. I understand the need for to-go packaging, but receiving steaming hot Hakka noodles in a plastic container was a bit concerning. It would be great to see more food-safe or eco-friendly alternatives in the future.

Love this place! Came here with my Indian friend, he told me this place is very famous chain in Texas and now they just opened one in Chandler, we must try! The menu's huge, and we loved everything we got- plain dosa, chai, chowrastha chicken, and idly! I love that their chai is less than $2, and it's very very good. Also dosa was huge and chutney was so flavorful. Oh and idly was soft! There are plenty of seats. Yet it takes some time for getting food, I think they cook as soon as they get order, which is great! Can't wait to try their other dishes.

This place is honestly such a loose cannon, sometimes the food is extremely spicy, sometimes it's not. The rice always has large chunks of spices which are kind of inedible. But other than that the food is really good.

Very sweet staff, clean restaurant, lots of savory pptions, and delicious desserts. They have a variety of cake slices, so make sure to check their online menu to see what they have in stock that day. Highly recommend the mango cake! For the price, I'd order this over 85 degC's any day.

I think this place recently opened and was recommended to try it out. It's a self service kinda place , pretty easy and fast moving lines. I highly recommend trying their Pani puri almost felt like trying it in India, the place can accommodate slightly larger groups as well. We were almost more than ten , and they accommodated by combining tables. If you like more flavor and you order the biryani I would recommend mentioning double Masala. Vijayawada boneless biryani was good. They are very good with packaging. You can also order to go. Eat and take the left overs as well. Biryani portions were quite big. Their bhajji and bonda were decent as well

If only their service could keep up with their food. At this point, every order feels like a surprise unboxing. I have had issues for 3 times in a row. Either the sides are missing or the order is incorrect. This time they blessed me with a micro-dose of sambar.

So when I say this place is the best, that means something. After 8 years of exploring Indian restaurants all across the Valley -- Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa -- Flavors of India consistently stands out above the rest. As a vegetarian, bold and complex flavors are everything to me. Without meat, you really need a kitchen that knows how to layer spices and build depth, and this place delivers every single time. The food is fresh, the flavors are rich and satisfying, the customer service is warm and attentive, and the prices are absolutely fair for the quality you're getting. This is my go-to, and it should be yours too. Hands down the best Indian food in the East Valley. I love the ambience. They're very welcoming and always clean.

My wife and I are vegetarian and usually love Indian food, but this time we decided to listen to the server's recommendations instead of sticking with the dishes we already know and love. Big mistake. The timing of the food was really off. The veggie platter came out before the naan and rice. Then the naan came out, but still no rice. Everything felt staggered from the kitchen, and it made it hard to actually enjoy the meal when the components were arriving 10-15 minutes apart. With Indian food especially, timing matters. You want the bread, rice, sauces, and entrees together so the meal actually makes sense. As for the food, there were more misses than hits. The veg samosas were not very good and had an unusual spice flavor that we just didn't enjoy. The paneer fingers were probably the best thing we had, but the dipping sauce that came with them wasn't great. The tandoori veg platter was also underwhelming. The tandoori potatoes were good, but that was about the only standout. Since there was no bread or rice with it at the time, it felt incomplete and awkward to eat. Eventually, we ordered tikka masala sauce separately just to try to salvage the meal. To be fair, the waitstaff was nice and the restaurant itself was clean. I don't want to make it sound like everything was bad. But for a birthday dinner, and especially as people who usually really enjoy Indian food, this just missed the mark for us. Too many misses and not enough hits. Unfortunately, this is probably a hard pass for us moving forward.

I have had a lot of Indian food, and this is still some of my favorite in Arizona. My go-to order here is usually between the malai kofta, shahi paneer, lamb korma (please try this), and the chicken 65. I find medium spice to be the perfect level of heat. The depth of flavor in their curries are incredible. The shahi paneer in particular is a great example of how precise their process must be. You can genuinely taste the combination of every spice used, and it feels like they used the perfect ratio. There are so many different notes of flavor and not a single one seems to be drowning out the other. The same can even be said about the chicken 65, but the curry is where this really shines. Also they've been really good about their rice, it was the perfect texture the last few times we've been. I can't comment on the service in-restaurant since my girlfriend and I are the kind of people to get takeout and watch a movie, but I will say the carryout ordering process has gotten significantly smoother. Ordering on the phone seems to be the way to go, and I have not had any of my orders messed up. I have had a couple times where I was awkwardly waiting for someone to be ready to help me get my order, but the wait time has generally been WAY better (like literal seconds), and staff are friendlier. Overall I would probably give a 4.5. Due to how good it is, and more importantly, how *consistently* good it's been, we've pretty much gone here every time we want Indian.

After my most recent visit, I don't think I'll be back. We went about an hour after they opened, and the buffet was already in bad shape. The chicken tikka masala tray was practically empty, and we had to fish around just to find a few small pieces of chicken. The rice was hard, like it had been sitting for a long time instead of being freshly made. They also got rid of the carrot dessert that used to be on the buffet (one of my favorites), so even the selection isn't the same anymore. The drinks and desserts were just as disappointing. The mango lassi was chunky and weird instead of smooth and creamy, and the rice pudding was so thin and liquidy it was almost like sweet milk. The only good thing was the naan bread, which was still warm and tasted fine. The staff has completely changed too. The younger guy with the beard and turban who used to be there is gone, and now it's a bunch of older guys who don't seem to know what they're doing. They weren't outright rude, but they seemed confused and not very engaged, and the buffet clearly wasn't being watched or refilled properly. This is not the India Oven I remember. They have a full bar. On this trip, the $44 steal of a price included 3 courses and a side of rice or naan. We started with the Bhelpuri Avocado which is like a mix of puffed rice and avocado. The contrast of the crispy rice and flavorful and creamy avocado was a server suggestion and I am thrilled she did. The table next to us was also vocally registering their excitement with the dish. My wife went with the Parsi Lamb Keema which is like having the popular street food, Pav Bahji with a fantastically flavorful lamb stew with just the right amount of heat, served with buns like sliders. For the main courses we had the ever popular and best ever Butter Chicken made even more enjoyable with a dip of the Garlic Naan made fresh in house to order. Super tender naan. I went with the other server suggestion of Fish Curry which was an incredible mix of very crisp exterior yet moist interior sea bass swimming in a delicious curry. Never ordered before but again, thank you Angelica. Finally desert was the Gulab Jamon Cheesecake. Unique and very tasty ending to a fantastic meal.
