I came in for a simple oil change, got pressured over and over to do a transmission flush, and it destroyed my car. My transmission was jerking, grinding, and my check-engine light came on. The dealership confirmed the fluid was burnt with metal debris, and now I'm facing a $12,886 repair. When I called to get help, the so-called investigator Stephen spoke rudely, took no accountability, and pretty much hung up in my face--even with a corporate rep on the line! They denied my claim without any written proof, only excuses. THE SERVICE WAS NOT EVEN SUPPOSED TO BE PERFORMED ON MY TYOE OF TRANSMISSION ACCORDING TO THE DEALERSHIP! I'm beyond disappointed and furious. If you value your vehicle, your money, and your peace of mind, do NOT trust these people. They're not accountable, they're unprofessional, and they clearly don't care about their customers. At this time, Valvoline has denied responsibility for the transmission failure that occurred immediately after your location performed a transmission flush on my vehicle, despite dealership documentation confirming internal transmission damage consistent with service failure. I have already provided all details to your claims team, and I have formally filed complaints with both the Better Business Bureau and the Texas Attorney General Consumer Protection Division. I've never had any issues so I'm not sure how they are about resolving any issues. However, they are always kind, courteous, and professional. They have a bathroom, a sink at the counter, usually fresh coffee (in the mornings that I've been) and the waiting room is always clean.
