Pistachio Tiramisu Cake Slice & Viral Dubai Chocolate Strawberry Cup
    Odalys M.

Food- the desserts were so good! Everything was just amazing and very fresh! I really loved the chocolate on the strawberry as it was very rich and creamy. The crunch was everything when I took my first bite. They have so many options to pick from when it comes to slices of cake. Service- everything was quick and easy and well explained. Love how this is such a cute shop on a nice corner. Parking is a little challenging since it's on a busy street and it's always full so just keep that in mind.

    Tres leches

Brief Summary - Close to Trader Joe's - Seats available inside, along the windows - Various selection of cakes in different sizes - Cakes that make you and your wallet happy - Not so sweet, perfect sweetness This cake shop opened up a couple of years ago in a cute brick building near Trader Joe's. Inside the bakery is spacious with the cakes stored in display cases in three different locations. Some of the cakes were baked in different sizes, so I could take home a small one, get a whole cake version, or grab a slice and sit at a chair provided inside the cafe. I ordered two cakes: a tres leches and a slice of the coffee crunch cake, and when we mentioned that we were taking these home, the staff put the cakes in a small little box. Upon returning home, we opened these up and ate them. The first one we ate was the tres leches. Living in the Bay Area, I was introduced to tres leches, and since then when I see a bakery selling tres leches, I ask for one. This one is also very delicious. The cake has absorbed the milk and cream so the sponge is squishy and moist. The sweetness was light and just right, and even though I shared this with the family I might have been able to eat this all on my own. The second was the coffee crunch cake, and maybe this is because I love cake but this one was my more favorite. The first bite was fantastic. The robust aroma of the coffeeI felt that in my tastebuds too. The cake's surface is sprinkled with chunky bits of toffee crunch; this gives a great texture. The cake is split into 3 layers and each one had a thick mouse like cream that was so milky and smooth. I enjoyed each bite and was truly disappointed when I ate the late piece. I also wished I ordered a whole cake of this one because this was also lightly sweetness, which also felt like I can eat more of it. Another happy treat was the prices. Cakes in the Bay Area are pricey, but these cakes were at affordable prices. Delicious and affordable? I would have more cake eating days. I cannot believe I never set afoot into this bakery until now, and I'm going to need to redeem this. Next time when I go to Trader Joe's, on the way back I should treat myself with a slice of cake here.

    Dubai Chocolate Strawberry Cup

This dessert shop doesn't seem that much from the exterior, but it has pretty solid desserts. They seem to be freshly made. As much as I would like to try their desserts, I've only been fixated on their Dubai Chocolate Strawberry Cup. This dessert is too good to pass over whenever I order something here. I love how fresh the strawberries are. Also, this isn't pricey at all! There are so many other dessert shops selling these, but are so overpriced. They do not hold back on any of the ingredients - balanced amount of strawberry, pistachio cream, and chocolate.

Dessert & Spice opened where The Butcher's Son once was. Sparse decor. Seating limited to 2 tables, chairs next to windows. Service quick & cordial as friendly associate gave a quick tour of what was available: french type pastries, pie/cake slices, cookie, cupcake, croffles, samosas, turkish cake slices, drinks. No prices posted. Took it to go. Traveled reasonable well. Pie shifted slightly. Bites: key lime pie (7.99?) -looked the usual. Flavors the same just in different locations. Graham crust buttery & flaky, filling tart with custardness. -whipped cream firm not soft-had lime flavor Honey cake (7) bigger than Yemen version. Turkish -alternating layers of buttercream & subtle honey flavors embedded in chiffon like layer cake. Yum! *Russian version is more well known. Baklava (comped) turkish version -top has many thin layers of baked crunchy phyllo Layers of pistachio embedded phyllo in middle. Bottom is same as top. Entirety is drenched with honey. Deliz but messy re: excess honey 4.5 stars preference for Turkish cakes. Unknown if milk cake travels well. Others didn't re milk content.

Chocolate chip cookie and Snickerdoodle Cookie

I had a sweet tooth after an event and found this dessert place on yelp. I drove over to this place and when I entered I was greeted by staff. The staff were very friendly and polite. I selected 2 chocolate chip cookies, 1 red velvet cookie and snickerdoodle cookie. The chocolate chip cookie was the start of the show. The cookie was moist, gooey in the middle and very flavorful. The red velvet cookie was also moist and flavorful. The snickerdoodle cookie had too much sugar on the cookie for me. The ambiance was very customer friendly and a nice place to go grab a good tasty dessert.

Desserts are so delicious! I highly recommend trying them. I had the Oreo tres leches cake, and it was amazing. I can't wait to come back and try them all

First time trying the Dubai Chocolate Strawberry and it was fine . The lady took my order waa nice . Will be back to try other items.

Reference to its size. Pretty small for the price

First time here. I was craving Dubai chocolate and decided to give it a try. The chocolate itself is a pretty small size for the price, $10. It looks good but unfortunately it does not have the same taste as a Dubai chocolate bar. The pistachio butter flavor is nonexistent and the kadayif isn't as crunchy as I believed it should be. The chocolate itself is pretty average taste but the presentation is good. Satisfies the craving of chocolate but not of Dubai chocolate.

    Viral Dubai Chocolate Strawberry Cup

I've been ordering the Dubai chocolate strawberries for the past two weeks. I'm literally obsessed! I've ordered on Uber eats and I've also picked up in person and the lady behind the counter is always so sweet. And she is generous when it comes to special instructions. For example, I don't like too much pistachio cream, I'll add extra strawberries and Katafi and she makes it just right to my liking. 10/10!

The only issue is there's no clear menu posted online, so we walked in completely blind. Their website shows a long list of flavors but not what they actually have that day, so it felt like a guessing game. The line moved really slow because there was only one employee handling everything. She was taking orders, giving samples, answering questions, and ringing people up all at once. She was super friendly and doing her best, but it felt like a lot for one person during a rush and the shop could definitely use more help. The space is really small and tight so it was hard to even see the flavors until we got close to the front. When we finally got up there, a lot of the tubs were already empty which was confusing since most ice cream shops restock. Some flavors I wanted weren't available anymore, and if they're out it would make more sense to just remove them from display. The dirty containers didn't make sense to display. I sampled the jasmine green tea and knew right away I wanted it. It was creamy with a smooth tea flavor that wasn't overpowering. I got a small with half jasmine green tea and half avocado. The avocado was surprisingly really good, super creamy and tasted like a fresh avocado smoothie. Both flavors weren't overly sweet which I liked. My husband wanted cookies and cream but it was sold out so he got chocolate chip instead, which was solid and creamy with good texture. Overall the ice cream itself was good, not the best I've had but definitely not bad. I like that the flavors lean more natural and not overly sweet. I could see myself coming back if I'm in the area, but the experience would be a lot better with faster service and more consistency with what's actually available.

The black sesame had a really nice nutty depth that came through well. The chocolate funnel cake flavor was okay, nothing particularly memorable, with the caramel one leaning a bit too sweet for my taste. Also tried the strawberry and mango matcha drinks.
