I've gone multiple times and lowkey I've been disappointed in at least one thing each time. The tiramisu was dry, the Korean style cheese and corn dogs were so hollow and the bun was chewy, the strawberry tiramisu seemed like it used frozen strawberries, the mochi was kinda mid, and the milk tea was mid as well. Some good things are their bingsu, their fruit teas, and that's it. But because I've been disappointed thrice, I'm not really down to go anymore. Their service is fast and their tables are always clean but most people don't even sit and eat there, there is always online orders.

Still love this place, but today, something was way off with the ube croffle. Cream color and texture was off and the actual croffle dough was more dense than usual and not as fluffy.

Honestly it was pretty fire, could be more cookies-and-creamy but I get that they didn't want to overpower the light dessert. Super yummy!! And prepared very quickly

This location seems to be in the same place where Feng Cha is located. We came last night after kareoke with a group of 8. The entrance was Dessert Cafe, but inside on the wall it said Feng Cha. I don't know if you can order from the counter or not, because there were 3 self ordering kiosks available and no one at the counter. A majority of our group ordered croffles. They said it was tough and tasted stale; it was difficult to cut into. We have tried Dessert Cafe in Concord before and their croffles were fresh and crispy. The bathrooms "weren't working" either. There was a sign that said "No Public Restroom". Legally I think they're supposed to have their bathrooms open/fixed for customers to use if they are a food service establishment. It took awhile for our bingsoo to come out, even though there weren't many people dining in. Also, looking at other people's photos, our mango bingsoo did not look like theirs! The presentation wasn't the same and ours just look sad compared to what was advertised. No ice cream on top either. The bingsoo was good though.

I was just looking for a quick dessert, something sweet and this place was perfect! The prep croffle was really good, not overly sweet at all! I usually don't like creams/frosting type topping, but this was fluffy, airy and actually pretty good! The creme brûlée was my favorite! It's really a perfect crème brûlée, perfect sweetness! Wasn't a huge fan of the pistachio cake, wasn't terrible but I wouldn't get it again. There's also other snacks (cheese sticks, corn dogs, fries, boba, ice tea/milk tea and more!) The service was quick and friendly. The ambiance was super cute, cafe style environment. Could probably sit there and do homework or something. Social seating, plenty of tables. Very clean! AND the best part is, pricing was amazing! Each item did not exceed $6! Definitely going again! (Actually came back the next day, lol) Check it out for yourself!

The place is cute I went in and ordered on the tablet they definitely have lots of options. One thing I didn't like was that some of the pictures in the menu looked like Ai. The croffle was tasty and not too sweet. It was definitely smaller than I thought but I didn't mind it. Would probably go again to try a different item.

There are three ordering kiosks by the door to help the line move quickly. There are tons of seating- which I'm sure goes quickly. The staff were feverishly working in the back- the menu is pretty diverse, which is cool there is something for everyone. Tonight I got some delicious goodies to sample. Uber tiramisu and a delicious smoothie/milk tea non dairy treat... so mango, so demure (see what I did there!!! Lol) The taste is as good as it looks! And it is difficult to get ube these days that taste real. Delicious options!

We were looking for dessert after dinner and this place popped up. It was close to where we were and open late. There were so many delicious looking options it was definitely hard to choose. There were a few people inside, but it was super chill. Quiet with some music playing. We got our orders in a few minutes. The croffle. The croffle. If I hadn't had so much at dinner I probably would have ordered another. I'll probably be back sooner than later. Sending anyone who will listen.

After learning that this had opened, I wanted to give it a try. I ordered the strawberry cream waffle to go; though they sell croffles too, I don't particularly like croissants so I figured the traditional waffles would be better. They also sell boba and bingsu, so I'm hoping to try the latter sometime. The strawberries tasted fresh and just the right balance between tart and sweet. The cream is sweet, and very pink. The waffle was cold, though this may have been intentional to avoid melting the cream, and I wish it was a little more crispy. Overall, it was decent and I like that they have a large menu, so I'm sure there will be plenty of things for anyone with a sweet tooth.

Dessert Cafe made a fan of me on my first visit. The previous restaurant wasn't here very long, although it showed flashes of promise. I'm more than happy with the replacement and all the sweet treats offered. The interior is the same, except for the new signs with the name of the restaurant. I suspect it may be the same owners. It's easy to order from the kiosk just inside the front door. My croffle was awesome. I have to admit that it was the first one I ever had. Croissant + waffle = delightfully light and delicious. It was pretty cool that my waffle was made fresh and the chef whipped up the batter just for me. Still, there's something about the waffle wasn't quite gourmet. I was just expecting or hoping for something different. I like mine to be crisp on the edges with a soft interior. Instead, the effect was more like a blueberries and whipped cream version of an ice cream sandwich. Five stars for the croffle and three stars for the waffle. Four stars total for now.

They did their best to accommodate all patrons despite it being very crowded and crazy busy. The food was always good, but the service was never particularly warm--polite, efficient, and impersonal, like a well-drilled operation. Today we took a twenty-minute ride with our six-week-old baby for one last visit before they close for good. We arrived before their advertised closing time, yet were coldly denied service. There was no one waiting behind us, but we were met with an inflexible, robotic "sorry, we're closed." No one was overtly rude, but the interaction felt rigid and mechanical, as if following procedure mattered more than acknowledging the people standing in front of them. It would not have taken much effort to accept one last order from a loyal couple with a newborn--especially since nobody else was waiting behind us. In the end, Standard Fare is closing exactly as it operated: precise, rigid, and lacking warmth. Hopefully the next business in this location will treat its customers with a bit more empathy.

We had waited about 20-30 mins for a table of 2. We went back inside and there were some tables inside that were wrapping up their meal, but we were called and were given a table outside. My husband asked if we could wait for a table inside and the server said the wait would've been too long. Mind you it was raining, even if there is a covered awning, it was rather cold. About 2 mins later, after we were sat at our table, another group who was not waiting as long as we had, was told they'd be seated inside, just to give them a minute to clean the table. My husband wasn't happy. It is what it is, the place is small and they were just trying to do their best to accommodate the waitlist. Aside from that, service was great. Very nice servers. Food was quick to come to the table and it was piping hot. From where my husband was sitting he could see the owner (he verified it from a server) working hard in the kitchen! Food is worth the price. I wouldn't say it's outrageous pricing, as it's what you would find at other similar restaurants. If you compare this restaurant to Kitchen Story, I believe it out ranks. I had the spicy chicken Benedict, and the only complaint I have is there were too many green onions. That was my fault because I should have asked for it without. I love that you could get breakfast potatoes or tater tots. I obviously got the tater tots, which I did not regret! So crisp and delish! I also ordered the croffle! Never let anyone tell you ice cream isn't for breakfast because this place proves them wrong. Ugh, delish! I didn't eat any of the fruit but my husband said it was really fresh. My husband ordered the Sunday Scrambler and finished the entire plate before I had even finished half of my plate. Pretty sure he liked it, lol. Their coffee was perfect and super hot! The way it should be served. I saw a bunch of different drinks being served, which I look forward to trying over time. Bathroom, clean and didn't smell bad. I highly suggest this place if you're in the area.
