This is my favorite ice cream shop! Their popular flavors will sell out, especially toward the end of the day. I won't tell you my favorites, but you will find yours quickly. My favorite way to order my ice cream here is to bring a friend, get the banana split, agree on 3 flavors, agree on the toppings, ask for the banana brûlée'd. I love the staff here. They are all so kind. &when it's not too busy, they are fun to talk to. Parking is on the street, you may have to circle a bunch. I never have too hard of a time. We totally discovered this place after having delicious pizza, when the plan was to literally have a snack, and we've already moved onto ice cream. There are reasons that they say a diet will start on a Monday... This place was absolutely packed! The line move slow, but it is so worth it. More than likely, they're giving samples to customers, answering questions, and trying to make sure that everyone is being taken care of. How could they not be when they have this amazing ice cream to look forward to?!? This is by no means your basic ice cream parlor, this is so far elevated above that, but if you like ice cream, please put this on your must try list! Just came here today to get some ice cream. Very cute spot so close to bart/bus zones and close to the lake. We walked from Adam's Point. Outdoor and indoor seating plus bathrooms which is always nice to have especially if walking all day and need to empty your bladder!!!! I just dont know if these Asian fusion ice cream places are for me. We sampled a few flavors - i went with the breakfast brownie bites, hubby got the coconut cake and child went for the vegan dark chocolate. Hers was the best but tad too rich. There's a wide variety of unique, Asian-inspired flavors here. I sampled most of the flavors - for me, their most popular flavors (breakfast brownie, banana dulce de leche) were far too sweet and honestly a bit basic. The lychee raspberry was quite mild tasting and very refreshing. The pandan ginger was one of the most unique flavors ice cream flavors I've had, it had a unique texture that complemented the pandan flavor very well. I'm not sure if the pandan is mixed with ginger in the ice cream itself but if it is then it's not that strong; the ginger bits are a great addition to the ice cream though. This is a small place down at Telegraph Avenue. My friend from out of town really wanted us to try their ice cream. I was a bit skeptical at first, but I'm so happy we tried it. It exceeded my expectations. First of all, the cashiers were so nice to us. They made good conversation and allowed us to try different flavors as we were a bit indecisive. They were very patient and forgiving with us and I really appreciated that. Additionally, they accommodated to us wanted to try the bruleed bananas without going for a sundae. Unfortunately, I've forgotten the exact flavors we got, but I do remember really enjoying the ice cream. The creme-bruleed banana was very unique and an amazing addition to the ice cream. This is definitely a place to go try new and unique flavors as well as toppings. I hope they're able to had waffle bowls in the future. I really think that will elevate their ice cream even more. This is like the Wanderlust Creamery of Oakland. Many of the flavors are travel-inspired and all of them pack a flavor punch. I had to be one of those people who sampled almost every flavor because I couldn't find immediate favorites. But the workers were totally awesome about it and equally enthusiastic about the flavors. I'd honestly toss it up between here and the monthly Salt & Straw flavors (my usual go to), which is quite the compliment. Remarkably complex flavors and you can get them with all the fixings and not overbearingly sweet. Staff were also very helpful in navigating us to the parfait of our evening dreams, so only praise for their patience for an indecisive group of three. The caramelized corn flakes are SO DELICIOUS- not stale at all and perfectly crunchy, toasty, sweet. Thought it would be overly sweet but was able to finish the whole scoop. Came here on a whim about 10 minutes before closing and there was a line out the door - phew! We barely made it. Seeing this line, gave me confidence this spot was legit good. Once I got inside, took a peep at the menu and saw there were a variety of flavors to choose from, all mixed with very unique ingredients, many I had not seen used before in ice cream. I sampled a few flavors and everything tasted amazing! The staff let me know everything is made in-house, literally in the back from scratch which is pretty cool that it's not mass produced. I decided on getting a single scoop ($5.50) with 2 different seasonal flavors (many ice cream shops don't offer this anymore without charging extra or going up a size, definitely a pleasant surprise!). My flavors were the Kinoko Honeycomb and Cookie Butter with Strawberry. YUM! There were so many other flavors (vegan included) I wanted, but I'll get them next time I visit. Keep in mind - the seasonal flavors do change out, but there isn't a specific date or time when it does. When you're about to check out, you can sign up for their rewards program, which I highly recommend if you intend on coming back for more :). There is seating along the windows, but may not be best for large groups. Outdoors has a chill vibe - Yay Area music bumpin' FTW. I was in Oakland near this spot and I'm glad I got to try it out - they serve good ice cream. I was excited about Shrikhand, since this was a very unique flavor, but I found it to be overwhelmingly sweet. Maybe my favorite ice cream spot in the East Bay. 1. Just wow! The flavors here are creative and homey, and they feel personal. I highly recommend sampling all the flavors that pique your interest because you may walk away with a few favorites. 2. My absolute favorite flavor here is qahwa. I'm not a coffee ice cream person and I get this flavor every visit so that says quite a bit. They describe qahwa as a "bright, fruity, and slightly roasted coffee ice cream with lovely sweet spiciness of cardamom", which sounds like perfection to me. They nailed this flavor. The coffee flavor is strong but creamy and the cardamom is not overly strong, it's just a great pairing. 3. My second favorite flavor is breakfast brownie, which is described as 'caramelized crunchy cornflakes, fudgy brownie chunks all mixed into our sweet cream ice cream'. Like what more can you want? The cornflakes are still crunchy and the brownie chunks are chewy, just so yum. 4. They recently opened a second location in Berkeley, and I can't wait to visit. read more

OKAY Miharu, I'm a fan. A big one. You have a unique menu of flavors and your ice cream is super smooth and creamy with the right notes flavor. I am obsessed with the mild earthy Mugicha (roasted barley tea) and the blood orange fennel crunch is a notable tastebud tingler! The breakfast brownie with cornflakes and brownies is a tasty textural treat. Props to the ice cream staff who let me have a ton of samples! For the plant based pop, they are also very vegan friendly with coconut milk base for some of the flavors. The ambiance is very colorful and welcoming. It's next to Hot Bird so it's the perfect place for a cool treat afterwards. There is metered street parking but can be busy/challenging to find a spot during rush hour. I ordered lavender tea and shrikhand this time. I found the lavender tea flavor to be more mild, but very creamy in a good way. It wasn't too sweet and overpowering, and exactly like how a tea should be. Shrikhand was a vegan option which usually isn't my thing, but I wanted to give something new a try, and it wasn't bad at all, just not my favorite compared to all the other options.
