The worker (owner?) who served us exuded such joy, you knew it would be baked into the cookie. And it was, delicious and a perfect complement to good coffee. I have to preface that we didn't get to try our cake - we presented the cake before going out, so didn't get to try it and then accidentally left it behind in the garage at our Airbnb when we checked out ‍ I needed a cake for my husbands birthday when we were visiting Mammoth recently and we went with Dessert'D. I called them on the Friday afternoon for a Sunday pickup and it was no issues. The girl on the phone who took my order was super helpful in talking through the best option for our group and there was no issues with my Sunday pickup. I received a text when the cake was ready, just as they said I would and pickup was easy. My husband loved the surprise cake and it was perfect for our group. I grabbed an Almond Florentine Cookie and one of the Sandwich Cookies to-go. The Florentine was soft and enjoyable but the sandwich cookie was rock hard and because of that I suspected it was old. I can't speak for pricing, if it was on the expensive side or not, because I tend to swipe and forget when it comes to sweets. Everything is definitely eye appealing at least. We were ordering food across the street when we noticed Mimi's Cookie Bar. I'm a big fan of sweets so we had to check it out! I was browsing their website before we headed over and was disappointed at the selection when we got there. They have all these mouth watering cookies listed online, but there were only three flavors of cookies along with three flavors of cupcakes. We tried the coconut chocolate chip and key lime cookies, all of which were soft and moist. We also tried a carrot cupcake. For half a dozen cookies and a cupcake it ran us about $10. My only complaints are that 79 cents per cookie is a little steep for their small size and the cupcake was packed in a brown paper bag. The frosting was squished and stuck to the bag. read more

I am really liking this place. Every time, I mean every time, I come to Mammoth for skiing, I make it a point to visit Mimi's. Mimi is so nice and her staff is friendly. I recently stopped by to try the Mud Pie in a Jar and it was on point. If you like chocolate and coffee, it's a must try. The chocolate was savory and hints of coffee came through on every bite. The graham cracker crust added the needed texture and the cream was so decadent. The pie jars are glass, so you can return those for a free cookie per jar. Just mediocre! I had the raspberry chocolate chip ice cream and it was way too hard and overchurned. Then we also tried the almond Florentine cookies and the Florentine part was great, but the inside was all frosting and it was way too sweet!
