Cute spot for coffee and gorgeous venue! If only a little bigger... What first struck me was how pretty this place was. I've heard of the Brooklyn locations also being very pretty, so I was really excited to visit the Flatiron location. Although a lot smaller, I still loved the brick exposure, the high ceiling, and the chandeliers. It definitely has that intimate, "hipster" vibe. I got the cappuccino (my test classic for new coffee places), and although really good (especially the cute red mugs they gave it in), the size of the drink was way too small for its price. The espresso itself is how I like it- strong, nut-like, and smooth. Very nice! Seating is quite a struggle here, and we came here on a Sunday afternoon and were able to snag a small table. But, seating here is really for about 15-20 people. Not the best place to study, but a great date spot or a quick cup of joe! Will have to check out the original locations read more

Lovely interior! Very high ceilings, a clean and spacious interior featuring exposed brick, skylights, and huge metal chandelier (with real cascading plants). I could live here. I'd give 5 stars for the decor and interior. I'm giving the coffee 3 stars. I ordered an iced latte with whole milk. I really enjoyed my latte both times we stopped by. The shop is pretty and service was great. They have milk available if you need to add some extra. The only problem is that's impossible to sit anywhere. The place is packed with people with laptops and they stay there all day. We stopped by on weekend and during weekday and it was the same. This is my new favorite coffee shop in the neighborhood - I tell everyone about it! It's a very warm and inviting space with never ending ceilings and a great skylight in the back. The coffee is strong and smooth exactly the way I like it. We've also been buying the coffee beans for home and is over absolute favorite over many other popular shops. Only thing I wish they could improve are some pastries and nibbles. read more

Great service and spacey. We went here on a Saturday night with plenty of seats available. My friend I got the aromaticas- I got pear and she got guava? The people working there were so friendly and explained all the different drinks to us cause we weren't sure what to get. The drinks were both very good and soothing. I have always loved Devocion coffee and enjoyed it. However, my experience today really sabotaged my love for Devocion. My boyfriend and I come in today for a cup of americano. Because of the whole face mask thing, when the barista asked us if we wanted it black, we did not hear it clearly. When we asked if she could repeat her question, she rolled her eyes and said again. After we finished ordering, I heard her talking to her fellow barista saying we are "stupid". Although I really loved the coffee here but probably will never come back again. The ambience of the cafe drew me in. However, the tea was disappointing. I ordered an aromatica which came with slices of dried papaya, lime and a few other dried ingredients. The flavors of the tea didn't blend well together and it was quite sour. I wanted to get a pastry but everything in the glass display box look like they were leftovers and was very disorganized. Rude cashier. Thats all I have to saty. Had such a great experience at the Devoción at Williamsburg but this one just did't make the cut. I asked for an Iced Latte and got a hot one. When I told the barista she asked the cashir who blantly said NO YOU DIDNT SAID ICED, which I know I did since is basically instinct at this point. At other coffee shops they would have at least offer to get me a cup of ice but here they just didnt look at me and sent me on my way. Never going back. Ruined Devoción for me. The Cappuccino I ordered was really tiny, however, this place is really cute and seems like one of the quieter options in the area to sit and get work done. Best coffee place in city. I always taste the difference. Even if Ive already had coffee that morning, if I'm in the area I come in just for the taste of a latte.
