Nice Italian coffee spot with a to go window and a few very small tables (maybe 4 total) inside. They have an AC unit above the door, but the window to order to go is open so it can get a little warm inside. They also have some tables outside. The service is friendly, they have a couple of staff who go around to take your order if you are sitting outside or inside and to clear the tables. They also have some desserts/pastries. I ordered an oat milk latte which I enjoyed. The espresso is good, albeit a little bitter compared to other places I have tried. They made a nice leaf design on top and the cup was filled to the brim. Overall a good coffee spot, just not very spacious, I think it is probably better to order to go. read more

We had a great time here. We stopped for a little midday. Pick me up. Most of their specialty lattes are very sweet but when I was ordering, they informed me the bee pollen latte still is a specialty latte and not too sweet. When I got it, it was still a little too sweet for me, but definitely not too bad. Santiago was so nice and very attentive! Ordered the tiramisu and banana split lattes. Both were great but I think the banana split edged out tiramisu for flavor. There is a to go coffee bar at the corner of the shop and a sit down area where you can order drinks/food. The vibe is casual and airy. wandered down to Chelsea to try a highly praised coffee spot - I have only seen posts about the takeout window but i was so happy to see they have a little dine in section with a few tables and beautiful Italian themed art - we ordered their most popular latte, the "dolce vita" which is a creamy, sweet-caramel-like delicious latte with layer of light foam on top. - the espresso is rich and deep, jt pairs perfectly with their sweet speciality lattes. I would love to give their more classic coffees a taste - it is def a pricey spot. so I do not know how many times I'll return. plenty of people have complained they sneakily add an auto gratuity that causes people to tip on top of that charge ..... about $30 for 3 lattes read more

Pricey coffee but good quality. This new location has a walk up window where you order and wait for your drink. There are also several seats inside and the decor is charming. Each time I pass by there's never been a seat inside available ( might just be the time I go ) . I like grabbing a dessert- like coffee before heading for a stroll on the highline or Little Island . I thought that I would come in after my flight and enjoy some food while working on my laptop today. For context, I flew in from Kuwait and I'm working on a new housing proposal for underserved communities. I ordered my food and a coffee. I was working on my laptop for maybe 10 minutes when I was rudely interrupted and told to put it away. This seemed strange as there was someone working on a laptop at the counter and they were not addressed. Personally, this felt very discriminatory and I was very upset by the service. Dropping two stars for lack of service. I shouldn't have to stand in front of the bartender looking clueless as to where to order. Nor should I have to try to make eye contact several times just to get attention. She was only catering to two other women at the bar. She was completely dismissive. When I put my order in, she continued talking to the other two women very loudly, as if they three were the only people in the cafe. It is not clear where to order, I stood by the door for some time and went up to where the dessert plate is absolutely ignored. The POS is handheld and if the staff isn't offering help, how can one order? Chai Latte - ordered a small, it wasn't overly sweet which I liked. It felt good drinking it after walking in the cold rain today. I love the interior, its classic retro. I love the tints of gold and splashes of red everywhere. I was really excited to try this cafe based on pictures I had seen online. I loved the old-school Italian vibes that I saw in the pictures. When we arrived, the decorations and interior were cute, but the space was surprisingly small, and we felt cramped even while ordering at the counter. There wasn't one seat available in Fellini that didn't looked cramped. We ended up in a small table near the bathroom, which we had to wait for, basically on top of a mother and son sitting next to us, which was less than ideal. The cramped-ness was exacerbated by the barista repeatedly yelling the same people's names over and over into the small space. The coffee itself was also disappointing. I had high hopes given the cafe presented as an old-school Italian coffee shop. My pistacchio latte did not taste like pistacchio and was very bitter. It took a long time to be served. Overall I had high hopes for this place but I don't think I will be returning any time soon. read more

First time at Fellini in Chelsea and it lived up to the hype. They have a window you can order from or you can sit inside. We decided to sit indoors since it was relatively empty. It's actually pretty spacious on the inside with possibly more than 10 tables and they have an accessible clean restroom. I've been here about two times so far but keep checking into the wrong coffee shop. Very tiny but very cute and very European. They have an authentic Italian espresso machine that's super fancy. Whatever they're called - they do wonders. The place is really beautiful inside for how small it is. It's definitely worth a gander. I feel like the seats are heated or I was just conveniently seated near the heater that was next to the door. Either way, it was a win. They also serve wine, Peroni, and cocktails during evening hours. I think their coffee service ends at 7pm. Wines are only $8 till 7pm. But have not tried that out yet. I ordered a Pistachio latte which was pretty good but I'm confused as to why it was $11... lol what are we doing here?!? I got the tiramisu latte and it was the worst coffee I've ever had. Genuinely. It didn't even taste like water, it tasted like nothing. I asked her to pour another shot in and she did, but when she returned it, it didn't add a thing and the drink was still bad. I was so confused. Then I added even more sugar packets and then it just tasted like artificial sugar. Idk. For $11 too. I just got so ripped off. Fellini is a super cute walk up to a window and order coffee cafe and it's so cute!! I highly recommend coming to check this place out when the weather is nice because they have some tables and chairs outside and it's a great vibe! That being said, the seating is limited so just something to keep in mind. I absolutely loved the coffee here - we got the dolce latte and tiramisu latte, both were great but I loved the tiramisu the most personally. They have dairy free milk options for an extra charge and are super nice and relatively easy. Highly recommend!! read more

Great new coffee/bar spot that opened up in Chelsea. Beautiful interior design, it is a bit small but still manages to be very comfortable to sit inside for a coffee and pastry. Service is great, and they seem to really care about the quality of coffee they serve. Unfortunately it all starts to fade when you begin to realize how long you have to wait just to get one of the brohs behind the counter to take your order, who btw exude the most incongruent vibe you can imagine amid the backdrop of wannabe old world euro opulence: a pack of seemingly coked out lumberjack looking misfits in flannels that don't even appear to remember they're supposed to be: 1. Taking people's orders 2. Fulfilling the orders 3. Apologizing for not fulfilling your order after you've sat there starving for 30 minutes literally Place still has value I guess if you want to pull a gag on your in-laws to fake a euro trip with some cheeky photos, otherwise avoid this place like the surface level trust fund bait it is with its 11$+, 6oz watered down coffee drinks and sandwiches that never arrive. read more

Third visit in 18 months out of convenience of walking by. The first time was a lot of attitude and the coffee was just ok. The second time I forgot about until this third visit when the same thing happened that reminded me about the previous. A barista playing with his computer pad as if he were at home, and than a window to the left which appeared where you should give the order to but the sliding glass remained closed. A woman just fumbling around, waiting to eat what looked like an avocado toast and wouldn't open the sliding glass window to take an order. Unless there is some other magical way you're supposed to place an order or they are just doing the French cafe attitude thing. Anyway, there are lots of other coffee shops.
