We'd heard good things about this place, so we tried it tonight. We started with oysters, really good and fresh. We split the bone in ribeye and the wedge. There was definitely enough to share. The food was delicious. The steak,was seared nicely and served medium rare. Before the meal, there are biscuits with a special butter, also really good. The twice baked potato was great, served a little differently. Cocktails good. The only thing we didn't like was the crème brûlée. It just wasn't what I've had elsewhere; it wasn't creamy and not enough crusty brown sugar on top. They did take it off the bill. Otherwise, nothing to complain about at all. Great service, too. For my main dish I got the seafood mixed grill since I couldn't make up my mind, and a lobster bisque. The lobster bisque was AMAZING. 10/10, the best lobster bisque I've ever had! The seafood mixed grill came with salmon, shrimp, scallops, and a crab cake. Everything was absolutely delicious. I really enjoyed the whipped potatoes it came with as well. I've always loved the food and atmosphere at Devon. But my most recent visit was the best and that's all thanks to our server, Lexi! She was so funny, kind and her service was incredible! Her raspy voice gives her an edge, I hope her friends call her "Sexi Lexi". She's definitely the type of server I would return for and specifically request. That did it! On Mothers Day and with reservations, what a great experience. We waited for maybe five minutes, but we were 1/2 hour early. Reservations of course, but they sat us down fairly quickly and right away and may I add that David was an exceptional waiter! He was attentive but not pushy, very warm with his approach and even my elderly mom was impressed. He for me, was the epitome of how a waiter in the industry should treat clientele. Just a wonderful conversationalist but not overbearing, and he KNEW the menu which of course helped us decide. We started off with a YELP coupon (check in) of calamari that was enough for four! It was very well seasoned and not even a hint of overcooking as that would of made it too tough for me to consume, but it was perfect. But be warned, the two fried zucchini they have "mistakenly" slipped in the bottom of the heap is really not fried zucchini! But deliberately put in there for semi heat jalapeños. Oh but you all who follow me know that a little heat is perfect for me! Although we had to chuckle thinking it was a fried zucchini and a mistake on my part. I loved it! The lobster bisque was the perfect start up. Mom, said it was probably one of the best she's had! Kudos to the chef! She also ordered the lobster tail and filet mignon. Now, I usually say that meh its okay, but this time they outdid what my mom ate. That lobster tail was beyond tender and the portion I thought was big. The filet mignon was done EXACTLY how mom asked for it and this just made the conversation special on mothers day for us. Throughout our visit we can honestly say that we were impressed, the coziness of the restaurant was stunningly done correctly and the food? I can't say enough as I am a really hard food critique, I am totally in love with this spot and already will be making reservations for my out of town sister who arrives in a few weeks. The food here is really tasty for the most part and service on point. I ordered from Devon during the height of the pandemic and thought their steaks were excellent even though it was carry out only. I recently came back again to try it out in person and would ultimately come back again for a special occasion. We ordered the lobster bisque, crispy cauliflower, oysters Rockefeller and their scallops with lobster risotto. Everything was excellent except for the crispy cauliflower which came highly recommended by our server which was a bit of a let down. Get the lobster bisque and oysters Rockefeller for sure! Wow, what a surprise! We had seen Devon along 22nd St in a strip center. Then we heard from a friend that it is really good, so we decided to try it out. When you walk in the door you are no longer in a strip center, you are in a very classy restaurant. Service is friendly and knowledgeable, and the manager checks in to be sure you are happy. Our Server, Bridget was absolutely fantastic, she was extraordinarily attentive, without ever being intrusive. Her knowledge of the menu was very impressive, she answered any question we had, and was very thorough in her responses. She anticipated everything we needed throughout our meal, and was so friendly, while being very professional. We will definitely request her when we next dine there. The food was delicious. If you like crab cakes, you'll love the crab cakes at Devon, they have no filler, and are 100% sweet, fresh, delicious crab meat. The menu is big, fresh fish and oysters come in daily, which is crazy given how Midwest we are. The food was fresh and delicious. The complimentary fresh biscuits are yummy. I got the lobster rolls as my main. This is in the app portion of the menu. 2 mini lobster rolls come with fries, I subbed for Brussels sprouts no bacon. Brussels sprouts weren't my fav as I felt they were way too oily (soggy even). But lobster rolls were so good and light. A perfect light meal. They have a nice sized drink menu as well as a large food menu for all tastes. To drink I went with the Moscow mule which had a nice flavor and was refreshing. For an appetizer I had the shrimp cocktail with creole remoulade and cocktail sauce. The shrimp was juicy and the sauce was flavorful. A very nice starter. For my meal I went with one of the nightly specials. Pan seared Mediterranean Sea bass with creamy lobster risotto and a champagne beurre blanc. Perfectly cooked and very flavorful. For dessert we split the chocolate Velvet cake. Chocolate mouse, chocolate ganache, and raspberry ice cream. A very nice and decedent way to end the meal. The prices are absently reasonable. I'm glad I did because they were booked solid for the night. The complimentary biscuits here were very addictive! The honey butter complimented the cracked pepper flavor impeccably. They bring one out at a time, which was a good thing because I would have quickly filled up on those if there was a basket of them nearby. Shellfish Cioppino $30 - Think stew for seafood lovers. This dish included mussels, shrimp, scallops, and salmon in a robust red sauce. It comes with a slice of butter garlic bread. Lobster Bisque $7/cup - Very good thick soup with chunks of lobster. Went to Devon's for Thanksgiving this year. It was a non traditional holiday experience but the food made up for it. The menu offered choices for starter and dessert. Salad and dessert were fantastic. The main course was pretty good for a high volume production. The ambiance in the restaurant has a modern elevated feel. Very little sound disturbance due to the glass separators. Service was a bit slow, but it was a busy holiday night. I would love to come back here another night for normal dinner. read more

Bread was a bit salty to my taste but my fiancé loved it . Calamari was also good . And the fries . I also got to try their lobster roll. I just wish they didn't shred the lobster too much . The shrimp campanelle dish had such a clean taste! The pasta tasted fresh, the wine sauce wasn't greasey, the tomatoes and spinach was fresh and the jumbo shrimp is a plus in this dish! My husband and I decided to do a date night and I've been looking at Devon seafood and steak for sometime and we said let's try it. I am so glad we did. Let me start off by saying our waitress Matilda was great, she was attentive and very kind. The ambiance was nice and romantic, the food was delicious from the appetizer to the dessert. We started out with the crab cakes, which were small but FULL of lump crab with NO filler and really good. We then had a Caesar salad and the lobster bisque and OMG!!! The lobster bisque was so flavorful, creamy and just delish!!! For our entree my husband has the Mahi mahi which was really good , great flavor but he just wished the portions were bigger and I had the 8oz filet with mashed potatoes and green beans. The filet literally melts in your mouth! For dessert which we took to go I had the chocolate cake and my husband had the famous carrot cake and neither one of those disappointed!
